HST Showdown - (Round 3 - Doctors)

Given that Tsunade will likely get no votes ill argue for her

Tsunade's ability to summon Katsuyu is massive utility to one and pretty much amps nearly every category of her battle power.

Katsuyu not only extends her range significantly given that Katsuyu is massive in size herself but she can spit large quantities of acid, for a regular person these acid attacks would cover a fairly significant AOE, these acids are tough enough melt away stone near instantly and damage people stronger than Tsunade herself.

Katsuyu doesn't only provide range options but significant defensive options as well, Katsuyu's weird physiology means that its significantly resistant to conventional damage methods, being able to protect people from exponentially stronger attacks, when i say exponentially i mean it in the literal sense, im talking >>> numbers. her ability to split, become liquid ect makes also extremely resilient, even dimensional splitting isnt a reliable method given that Katsuyu can function perfectly in individual chunks aswell being entirely functional as literal pool of liquid. Katsuyua is also entirely unaffected by Kurama's corrosive chakra, which is capable of melting the skin off its host and reducing the enemy to ash.

Katsuyu can do all this while actively protecting its summoner and communicating with them with her shared pieces meaning Tsunade can also get supreme field awareness if katsuyu's parts are split up.

However that's just Katsuyu; Tsunade is no slouch herself

Not only Is Tsunade an expert In both the medical field and combat arena, she has decades worth of experience in less homogenized combat, given how varied Ninja combat is. but one of her core tenants is her ability be evasive as literally the pioneer of the modern medical ninja philosophy, that being that medical ninja cannot be injured in battle and must do everything they can to avoid it. and she is a master at this, being able to evade attacks from Kabuto while injured and mentally dazed, this is in spite of the fact that she couldn't see the attacks as they were underground. she can also evade attacks from people like Madara who are likely not only more skilled than her but have dojutsu like the sharingan and rinnegan, even inferior versions of the Sharingan can predict complex and subtle muscle movements in their sleep.

This is also not accounting for the fact that Tsunade like every fodder ninja worth their salt can amp up her speed with the body flicker ability and ninja nonsense like substitutions and this without taking into account the Byakuyo, which is universal stat increase.

in terms of utility in H2H, Tsunade has a few but very potent options, obviously she can negate durability by internally cutting muscles and so on with her chakra scalpel, but she can also rearrange someones nervous system with a single touch, this will be extremely lethal to people like Law who's profile states that he requires certain gestures to perform certain abilities. there's also the fact that Tsunade can make chakra potent enough to instantly kill people like Orochimaru, who's the naruto equivalent of a roach given his insane resilience to survive through a variety of means.

Tsunade range in terms of regular H2H isnt anything notable but her AOE attacks with chakra infusion are, spanning from anywhere from a few meters to entire blocks, these AOE attacks can also knock enemies back.

So all in all Tsunade absolutely has the tools to pull off a W

going to vote big booba hokage, okay now bye.

mentally dazed
KCM level debuff mental daze tho

I think Shadow makes a lot of good points for Tsunade; however, I think all of her talents fall short in comparison to Unohana. Let me explain.

In terms of skill alone, Unohana dwarfs Tsunade's decades of experience, with over thousands of years of experience in combat, having developed and mastered 8000+ sword styles in prior to her meeting with kid Zaraki. Not only is she one of if not the most skilled sword user in Bleach, she has since developed more fighting styles that incorporate her Kaido (not the dragon but the healing kido) and various other weapons (these black rod knife thingies) into her arsenal as well. And when it comes to medical prowess, Unohana's experience surpasses Tsunade as well. Tsunade relied on Katsuyu to piece her halves back together, meanwhile Unohana alone was capable of piecing bisected people back together (as seen with Hiyori), and that isn't including her Bankai which in all likelihood is able to heal you from a skeleton back to a person. But wait, there's more, Unohana's medical expertise and knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to her medical knowledge is so great that she was able to somewhat see through Aizen's KS illusions by examining the tiniest details on Aizen's illusory corpse. When you think about it, it just makes sense that Unohana is a superior combative healer, she's just got thousands of years of experience on Tsunade, it's not a fair comparison.

Unohana even has ways around Tsunade's more hax-y win cons. For example, Bleach characters have internal durability (this is portrayed with Zaraki and Yammy, both of which characters who are weaker and have less spirit energy than Unohana), where has Naruto characters for the most part do not (as per Kakashi's statement). So, Tsunade being able to dice up "human" level internals isn't going to guarantee that she'll be able to do that against Unohana, given she is able to tag the far more skilled and better arsenal Unohana. Not to mention, Unohana possesses the capability to heal from that internal damage if need be. And regarding Katsuyu, while a great conventional shield, Unohana's attacks are far from conventional. She can corrode away Katsuyu with her blood manipulation and possesses durability negation to get around the fact that Katsuyu can endure attacks beyond its paygrade.

All in all, Tsunade is just an inferior Unohana when it comes to battle, and any hax Tsunade has access to, Unohana has superior hax or can simply counter Tsunade's. For those reasons, I can't support the notion that Tsunade has what it takes to defeat Unohana.

Law on the other hand, might not be able to put Tsunade down if Tsunade is able to substitute out of all the slashes, outmaneuver him with Shunshin, and use Katsuyu as a diversion.

Tsunade relied on Katsuyu to piece her halves back together, meanwhile Unohana alone was capable of piecing bisected people back together
This is because Tsunade was nearly entirely out of chakra and knocked out, and told Katsuyu to prioritize the kage over herself, this isnt a limitation of her regen under normal circumstances

Voting Law FRA
Speaking of observation haki, he could sense her lack haki, use shambles to warp far away her zanpakuto & limit her attack options (even if breifly).

I'll vote Law.

He can potentially deal with Tsunade by just soul swapping her with a random goon in central park/New York but similar to his original method against Doflamingo he may just teleport Tsunade to Unohana letting them fight it out and giving him an opportunity to either learn their capabilities or using it as an opportunity to take them out.

As others mentioned Law massively out ranges with his room and can spatial slash them inside it, and assuming Unohana gets in close range he can utilize kroom which makes his blade intangible preventing her from simply parrying it away.

If she gets in close with her bankai his kenbunshoku would inform him allowing him to block with his FF and giving him an opportunity to just escape with teleportation. And looking at Unohana's profile I'm unsure how she's going to track down Law.

K-room and Anesthesia should help Law deal with her in close quarters. That topped with an omnidirectional force-field should also help him greatly in close qauter combat range, aided further by his Kenbunshoku (mind reading, danger sense, X-Ray vision, feeling disruption in the air, etc.) to help against her Shunpo.

Also how good is her sensory abilities from afar?

"They can actively sense the presence and aura of others within their proximity" No one disagrees with this

"and occasionally have premonitions of the very brief future" This means that they cannot see the future at will or when they want, it only happens sometimes and very short.
That statement follows up on the presence thing proven by the reference on that

There is no way kingtempest doesn't understand how obs Haki works... Like the most blatant thing, you guys are just ignoring shit to support your arguments

Ok so lets get this straight, if law pre-emptively blocks Unohana's attack whats to say that she wont just walk around him and attack him from a blindspot?

How far are we talking? Because apparently unohana can traverse multiple kilometers in a single step.
Kilometers. Can she see such a small item from that far away tho? It's not like he's gonna let her run away the moment she's disarmed either.

Bleach characters are all souls and can interact with intagible ghosts whose bodies are not made of reishi and reishi strings themselves who are intangible to normal humans. Just because we allow other verse characters to interact and see Bleach characters that doesn't mean when those characters have some sort of Intangibility power they become superior to Bleach characters. No. It means they are able to finally be able to go on par with Bleach characters without us having to nerf Bleach characters. Unohana will parry fine.

I'll vote Law.

1. characters in bleach have touched intangible things before, they have it layered, so his sword being intangible is not a problem.

2. they can sense spiritual pressure/energy etc. over vast distances

Can't law literally teleport her bankai?

Like people are ignoring the shit out of laws wincons, I haven't seen 1 actual wincon for Unohana from what I've seen besides the possibility in dealing with spatial slices

How far is Law going to teleport to get outside the reach of Unohana?
As far as he needs to/however big of a room he has up at that moment.

1. Fair enough

2. Thanks. How far though?

How does law counter bankai?
His Forcefield or he could just use takt to redirect it back on to her.

She resist her own bankai obviously and she can heal herself from a Skelton isn’t soul crush still a thing? Even if law survives he won’t be able to move.

Spatial displacement would also likely work against it.

Law cuts in the direction where the blood is headed and space within that area is severed.

She isn't resistant. Her bankai very clearly effected both her and Zaraki.

Also remember she can't heal from Law's attacks.

AYYY does Unohana even use Shunpo in character? and why isn't it on the ability or the speed section..

Why would she? from they way you worded it seems like she has never done so in character
Because literally almost all Shinigami, with very few exceptions like Kenpachi, always use Shunpo while fighting, traveling etc?

Unohana has used Shunpo in the story, like her traveling throughout Las Noches, so we have no reason to believe she wouldn't use that in-character ability to cross that large distance between her, Law and Tsunade. Especially when Unohana in this key is incredibly bloodlusted and would absolutely want to engage in combat with both characters as soon as possible.
