Bankai amp with speed amp and concealing cloak and his layered sleeping kido that both don't resist.
Then they both get one shot by sleeping kido then they get hit by bankai gg assuming the can locate Gin with the cloak anyway

the cloak isn't allowed and the sleeping Kido won't work because Itachi is obliterating him with Genjutsu if they lock eyes. Why do you keep bringing them up?
If the only wincon you can come up with is a really fast-extending sword with a poisonous effect, he's never hitting Shanks or Itachi.

Honestly Gin's bankai wouldn't even be a wise idea on his part, considering it does into dust Shanks and Itachi can take that moment to blow it away or destroy it while it's in that form leaving Gin with no Zanpakuto.
Not that it'd do anything to Shanks since as a ginger he has no soul to effect GG

I feel as though the gin supporters gotta explain their arguments because from what I'm seeing they have the weakest arguments as to why he gets the dub

Is buto rejin restricted because it's a 10x amp? These are the arguments for Gin his concealment cloak(which is standard equipment) which protects him from their esp and enhanced senses. The fact that he normally keeps his eyes closed was why Aizen Kyoka suigetsu didn't work for him. And he normally snipes people with his bankai or shikai. Also with buto rejin he can one shot. If they keep doing he can amp his attack speed greatly or resort to his other hax like his sleeping kido.

Bro is still making arguments that were denied by the OP or proven to be ass in response posts.
- Cloak is not being used by this key of Gin.
- His Sleep Manipulation requires him to look people in the eyes, Itachi could neg it and put him in a mental headlock with Tsukuyomi(not to mention according to you Gin always has his eyes closed.)
- One Shot/Blitz amps aren’t allowed.
- an increase in attack speed won’t be enough when Shanks has Future Sight and Itachi has his Sharingan + 8 jutsu that let him block or evade Gins Bankai.
- Saying that his eyes are always closed isn’t proof that they are. anime characters are drawn like that all the time to represent their eyes being slanted or even a relaxed personality. Until you provide proof that his eyes are always closed, you can’t use this unfortunately.
If these are the only arguments for Gin, he has the least likely chance of winning tbh.

- Shanks and Gin looking into Itachi’s eyes or finger if he points at them at any point during the fight.
- Completely conceal his presence(which he can do even against people with powerful sixth senses of sensory abilities like Sage Kabuto.) and waiting for a chance to poke or cut them with his Totsuka blade.
- Having one of them get hit with Kotoamatsukami(complete mind control so powerful you can’t tell that you are being affected, even with high mental resistances.) it by looking into Itachi’s Crow’s eyes (which could make the fight a 2v1 as he could ally himself with whoever he hits.)
- Sacrificing an eye to put one of them in an Izanami loop to incap(doesn’t require looking at him at anyone)
- Amaterasu flames that don’t extinguish.

I don't know about Gin, but this definitely isn't working with Shanks due to Kenbun.
I don't know what that does.

Shanks' heat scales above Amateratsu, and he can simply dodge or take it off with Buso Emission.

Yes, all of Itachi’s abilities are in character for him tbh. depending on how severe he deems the situation. And since he can read people’s intentions and power accurately with minimal exposure , it shouldn’t be an issue.

Yes, it would capable of affecting an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan user, which already gives several layers of resistance already.
It’s considered the ultimate genjutsu(before IT)
Even regular Sharingan can mind control. This one is special because it reprograms your brain to think everything is fine and however you were reprogrammed is how you would normally act.

Itachi can sneak Nagato, Kakashi, EMS Sasuke, and Sage Kabuto.
all with sensory abilities beyond their 5 senses
Nagato, Kakashi, and Sasuke have enhanced sight allowing them to even see things that are invisible or through solid objects, with Nagato being able to share vision with his paths/animals.
Kabuto has extrasensory perception to the point where he can fight without eyesight and with Sage Mode we see that people can sense and hear people across vast distances(Naruto with regular sage mode could see and hear what was going on in a battlefield an entire country away let alone Kabuto enhanced Sage Mode.)
Shanks best bet is FS prior to Itachi's attack. For one, FS isn’t passive and it doesnt guarantee he won’t be hit. Especially since Itachi will have plenty of time to analyze them and think of a multi stage plan while Gin and Shanks are throwing ranged attacks at each other.

He usually incorporates genjutsu into his first openings. We have Kakashi trying to counter by looking down, implying it’s common for him to genjutsu.
There’s the time he met Naruto in the forest and did genjutsu while just wanting to talk

He is THE genjutsu user in Naruto
He uses it more often than anyone in the series and in every single fight he’s had in the manga. And even sometime outside of fights.
To make Sasuke hate him he made him watch his parents die thousands of times.

He reversed Kurenai’s genjutsu and obliterated Kakashi with Tsukuyomi.
