So this guy slashes his sword and the world around him appears to be in suspense for some time until it reached the target. I'm not sure if this is visually done via the sheer speed of the slash or time stopped in the moment he used the move.
This starts off with Freeze jr freezing time itself in order to stop his father from dying (of old age), then he is met with shadow and his crew (sensei and kali), they notice that time is stopped, and go on to fight Freeze jr to stop his doings. As the fight comes to an end and shadow comes out...
My point will be to show that Luffy apparently has the ability to stop time in the middle of his attacks to finish them in his own way.
Against Saturn.
Firstly, in this scene from the manga, in the midst of Saturn's flying projectiles, Luffy manages to carry out a series of events:
He first...
Long story short, most the TLOZ discussion thread were in agreement over if that state Link enters before activating Rewind, but I got cold feet on the issue if it really should count or not. As punishment for my crime, Gatememer has sentenced me to the Water Temple (presumably the original OOT...
Pinhead's profile states that the Cenobites can stop time in the comic. I didn't find this scan. There is no link to the feat or to the source.
Please show me this feat.
Please tell me novels where the MC can stop time (combat ability) at relatively early stages of cultivation (up to High 6-B inclusive). I usually come across novels where only very high-level cultivators, roughly Low 4-C or above, can stop time.
I know of only one novel where the MC can do this...
The previous thread that tackled this topic ended inconclusive and also I can't find it, hopefully this is the last time this is brought up.
Explanation
In Undertale, Sans teleportation is portrayed in two different ways:
*Sans simply showing up somewhere he wasn't before (Examples here and...
I want to know if there is any specific reason for Time-stop by default range being 3A/High 3A in its page despite its just being a sub set of Time manipulation and gravity manipulation page.
If Time manipulation range is not 3A by default and so for the subset/sub power Time stop, infact...
Does higher dimensional time stop exists ?
Shouldn't 5-D or higher beings automatically resist time stop ?
Even if someone were to stop time at a 5-D scale wouldn't it be merely range feat ?And shouldn't someone who is just 3-D and has time stop resistance be able to resist a 5-D scale time stop ?
So character a is fighting character b and character a decides to use their time slow that eventually stops time all together but character b resists time stop would they resist time slow?
If a character moves in time stop, they get a resistance on the site, even if the character does it through sheer power. Even though this would logically grant infinite speed, why does the wiki consider it a resistance?
I think Time Stop should be removed, basically Time Stop itself is a variation of using Time Manipulation. At least we already there an explanation of "stopping time" on the Time Manipulation profile.
Actually, this is the same as the previous Mind Reading profile which was deleted because it...
The Tiering System FAQ says the following: "However, if it is specified that they "transcend space and time" in the sense that they exist on some higher level of reality that is outright superior to a spacetime continuum in nature, then they should be put at Low 1-C, assuming the continuum in...
Hello, thought there was not going to have to be another Dishonored CRT, but I had a thought about this and realized I had to make another CRT. Today I am here to discuss Dishonored time stop potency
Baseline
So first off, all characters can move within the void, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Time in the...
Pretty much the title.
How high would the resistance of a character be if they were infinite speed? Do we assume it to be baseline, or can they simply not be affected by any timestop that didn't affect infinite speed characters?
Ello~
Currently speaking, Paradox has a time stop immunity due to "Existing outside of time"
I don't think I need to say this but, Immunity is a major NLF when it comes to VS battles. We never give immunities unless its very specific.
Not to mention, the reasoning is very weak for it to grant...
I made a similar thread before, but it died before a conclusion was reached. I also have more evidence than last time.
I believe that Sans has access to Time Stop.
•The main evidence is this scene: https://youtu.be/he53Owpsspo (at 2:19) Before asking Frisk about Flowey, Sans stops time within...
This is mostly to ask the question of if Weiss or anyone else with time dilation used it before the foe they are fighting used time stop then what would happen. Would they be frozen in time or would they be able to more freely or slowly
Even when this is fiction we are always trying to explain the capabilities and abilities of those characters in a logical way in order to engage in debate. We don`t use concepts such as "omnipotence" for being impossible to prove.. But then we pass on such bullshit as timestop in a place beyond...
Why do we have two separate files for these abilities? Stopping time should simply be under Time Manipulation and the profiles just specify what application of Time Manipulation they use. Overall the Time Stop file seems pretty redundant.
So ive noticed that some characters have immunity to time stop, but don't have infinite speed. If we look at the speed category, it even says, "Able to move indefinitely while time literally stands still." So is there a difference between immunity to time stop, and qualifying for infinite speed?
While Sans and Frisk are at Grillby's, Sans seemingly stops time in the entire building so he can ask Frisk about Flowey. The main evidence here is how Grillby's flame stops moving, even though it's normally in constant motion.

I have a question about time stop. Is the potency of a time stop dependent on its range and length?
For example, character A resists time stop that covers three planets and lasts two minutes.
Character B's time stop covers five galaxies and lasts an hour.
Would Character A resist Character...
So I know we treat resisting time stop as also being able to resist time slow, makes sense since time stop is basically a infinitely better version of time slow, but what about a limited resistance to Time Stop? Ganondorf for example has a limited resistance to it with the Triforce of Power, but...
I sincerely hope this to be a quick thread and not one of those I end up forgetting.
Currently; "The ability to stop time and move around normally, an often specialized variant of Time Manipulation. In stopped time, characters can attack immobile opponents or set up and dodge attacks...
Ok, so I've had a little talk with Bambu and he says the TimeFarts are not Thought-based at all and takes a much longer time to pull off.
He has decided it's not worth arguing so I simply want input from others just so we can put down the correct or at least reasonable answer.
Evidence For...
An issue brought up in this thread:
So, according to some people, if Time Stop or any other form of Time Manipulation has no specified range, o the limits of which aren't shown or stated, this ability/abilities should be assumed to have Universal Range (which may also be High Universal or even...
Majora has ZA WARUDO.
In all seriousness, Majora created the moon, in which the core of it, time is stopped. The ever-present in game clock is stopped, the effects of Chateau Romani doesn't run out, etc. Given the entire premise of the game focuses on time, I highly doubt it's game mechanics.
I have a doubt, we measure the speed through time that is traveled a distance, but what if the person can get out of a time stop, and move faster than the being that made that time stop?
Would that be some kind of anti time stop ability, or a feat of speed? After all, if time stands still to...
Match-ups with equalized statistics (with the exception of speed) are not allowed, as they turn the entire tiering system unnecessary.
During a match where speed is equalized, speed amplification techniques are allowed, unless they lead to a victory via Speed Blitz in favor of the slower...
We know that speeds of infinite and higher can bypass timestop without resistance to it. But what if a character had timestop that scaled with his overall power? If they were Universe level+ could they stop an infinite speed character? Same with a 2-A with timestop scaling with his power.
