    I agree it seems idiotic to do so. But that skill is the evolution of "Infinite Sword" which he got earlier in the story. While lackluster in terms of description, I feel like the author tried to cook something so I wondered if that could MAYBE, POSSIBLY, let the character get some tier 1 stuff based on the name/evolution of the skill.
