Who is the most skilled character in fiction?

Me claiming Bats isn't as skilled as the likes of Sasaki, Ikki or the top contender isn't "downplaying" at all. Perhaps try not to throw around messily accusations and actually prove Bats is the most skilled here?
Then wait for the feats instead of arguing against Batman. Also, some feats are already there, just read them

He mastered 128 martial arts styles...

Actually he made a training video of 128 martial arts for Kara to master them. He's mastered them all and then some.

Also, reason I mention Taskmaster is because he's more skilled than Captain America. And you don't need to go farther than Cap's profile to see why he alone is worthy of the list.

He mastered every art style on earth, easily one of the most intelengent human beings on earth, one of the best detectives on earth, can literally sneak and break into any building he wants without being detected,

Probs alot more but thats just to name a few.

@Blue

See, that's a lot better, rather than saying I'm "downplaying" and giving an actual argument.

Sasaki was able to do the same but to a much greater extent. In RoR he managed to learn every sword style, gained fighting techniques from various wild animals, lost every fight he was in to gain his famous "Thousand image defense. " which allows him to visualize every move his opponent will make, even thousands steps ahead of them to act accordingly. Sasaki can fight evenly against highly skilled gods from mythology who've been around longer than The Big Bang has. Sasaki also has an extra 400+ years of experience, pushing his skills even further while in heaven and engraved every sword styles he's seen into his very own soul and overpowered a god that has much more experience, strength, speed and durability than himself through sheer skill alone. Keep in mind the Gods in RoR have greatly surpassed Humanity in all of their history. Not to mention all of Humanity to ever have existed untill present day was impressed by Sasaki's sheer skill.

Batman's cool and all but i kinda dislike the undertone that swings with your statement.

Pray:

Mastered the Mayer Style, witch is a amalgation of all Earth based Weapon - and Martial arts, ancient and modern. She learned it and took a collective shit on it, creating the Pray Style, that outdones the Mayer Style to such a degree that the Knight Order tried to persuade her into making it the main fighting style for ALL Knights. The Mayer Style was already feared throughout the universe, but compared to the Pray Style it was considered impractical and weak.

Became the greatest Knight throughout history, outdoning literally every other Knight that came before her while she was still a trainee, including Sion Zail, Dry Leonhard and many other great Knights. Sion was considered the greatest Sword Master in the entire History of Humanity, but she was outdone by Pray in her training times. Dry is literally Mister Perfect and was stated by even Pray to be greater than her in every aspect. Sans skill.

Talking about Dry, Dry posesses Pseudo Almighty and had a army of the most powerful Knights of the Order. The mere though of facing Pray made him shit himself. He managed to barely managed to beat a inexperienced version of Pray's prime in a duel with his ability. Note that Pray's prime means a past version of Pray 8 years ago, she further honed her abilities and is still not surpassed.

Anne, the second greatest Knight in history, had a winning record of 3% against Pray. The same Anne that steamrolled Armies of Knights, fought an entire planetary war alone and was deeply respected by Dry.

Also, again, while we're trying to get recognition for DC, Marvel doesn't slack here either. Captain America and Taskmaster deserve to be on the list.

Oh I agree that Bats does deserve a spot on the list not just as an honorable mention. Aren't there some Marvel characters that are supposed to be more skilled than Bats? I think Iron Fist is one of them.

Yeah. There are. I've been trying to get Taskmaster on here for a while, given the dude outskills people who account microscopic precisions on their throws, genius people who have many marital arts including their own spider-based martial art, and fights with Hawkeye so casually that he gets bored before the fight finishes. HAWKEYE.

But Sasaki isn't an average human while Batman is....
And that makes Bats' skill feats far more impressive. He's a human, not demi-god, demon, vampire, complete superhuman with limiter breakers or an alien. He's a pure human and that's what makes it way more impressive.

We all just conveniently forgot the wall of text I have for Mori.

Ikki's a human too. Doesn't stop him from being on the top of the list though, this is skill not hax fight.
Saying Ikki is a human is like saying Seiya is a human. Technically he is. BUT IS HE REALLY....

Ikki is human in the loosest sense of the word.

Also I'm sure Taskmaster is ahead of Ikki. Because Taskmaster is literally the most skilled earthbound person in Marvel. Which says a lot. And unlike DC, they don't have retcons every generation.

>Taskmaster ahead of Ikki

I mean, sure we can argue if you want. Ikki's a tough cookie though, sure ya wanna try?

So his Body Control, Reactive Evolution, Precog etc comes from magic?
Nope. Literally nothing comes from magic except:

  • The ability to summon his sword
  • A 2x stat amp
The rest is ALL skill.

Superhuman skill. Is he normally 9-C or something? He has enhances senses, complete body control, precognition and crapton of other abilities, this can't be done by any normal human no matter how hard they train.

What even is that point about being a "normal" human? We keep discrediting Nonsense feats like we love to call some of Ikki's (Clone one is nonsense though, not gonna lie) But its ok when a 9A "Outskills" a 4B? Like, are we throwing out logic now, even though we keep critisicing other feats for the same reasoning? As long as our supported Skill lord isnt beating people because they are stronger than them and not just because they are more skilled, its still skill. The difference being big sure is a boon, but if the difference is beyond oneshott then its nonsense

My point was that Batman not having completely superhuman and completely impossible for a mere human capabilities makes his skill more impressive, not that he's more skilled...

Again Ikki isn't your average human especially if he uses Magic. Task Master literally is just a regular human who can become anyone physically within moments. Even Spider-Man has trouble with him...
