Alexia stumbled around the kitchen a bit, thinking about what she could make the young Shalor. "Waffles again...? No, that's to... sugary. Something a bit more nutritious will help a boy his age."
She rummaged through her pantry, before pulling out a bag of dried oats... wondering what she could combine this with. "Maybe... yogurt...?"
She telekinetically opened her magical cooling storage, before pulling out a glass container of fresh, white yogurt. She poured the very slightly viscous Yogurt into a bowl, looking down at the substance.
"Hm..." She looked for something to sweeten up the substance, and turned first to a container of cold orange juice. Gently pouring in a few table spoons of the liquid into the Yogurt, she used a small spoon to mix the substance into a more runny, but also a much more flavorful substance.
Afterwards, she would gently sprinkle a decent portion of the dried oats onto the mixture, before promptly using the same spoon she had used prior to mix the oats into the substance. Oats were a versatile ingredient- They absorbed and released energy once consumed, providing a moderate boost in general energy. The oats would gently soak in the yogurt, causing the substance to thicken and become more viscous as prior.
With a smile on her face, Alexia thought about how she could top off this small breakfast, which was coming together quite nicely. The texture of the dish as of now was quite chewy, so a more crunchable substance was needed to balance out.
"Does he enjoy peanuts? Maybe almonds? Well, we'll use both." She thought to herself, telekinetically pulling out a pag of dried almonds and dried peanuts. To provide an extra crunch, she would remove a portion of both from their containers telekinetically, and while in the air, she would gently roast them with fire magic until they'd been browned a bit more. Then, she would sprinkle the mixture of peanuts and almonds onto the bowl.
"And for some more sweetness... strawberries, of course." Alexia took whatever strawberries she had, cut them into fine cubes (discarding the leaf part), and sprinkled dozens of the cubes across the substance, allowing them to settle with the nuts and oats for a few minutes.
"I hope he'll like it... I did go a bit out there." Alexia chuckled to herself, scratching the back of her neck awkwardly. But... it smelled nice, at least, and she hadn't used any rotten or spoiled ingredients, thinking deeply about what would be most healthy for a human boy.
"Yeah... I'm sure he'll like it. I'm sure."
