Hello, I was planning to make a MCU CRT about the sorcerers and magic and I have a question regarding these statements if you don't mind:
You think you know how the world works? You think that this material universe is all there is? What is real? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts shape reality.
The language of the Mystic Arts is as old as civilization. The sorcerers of antiquity called the use of this language spells, but if that word offends your modern sensibilities, you can call it a program; the source code that shapes reality. We harness energy drawn from other dimensions of the Multiverse to cast spells, to conjure shields and weapons, to make magic.
The Ancient One is a skilled teacher. She has tutored students for centuries and is adept at tailoring her lessons to each student. In Strange's case, she explains that it might help him to think of spells in scientific terms; like a program to alter the source code of reality.
During training, Strange learned that "magic" was actually a method of tapping into energies from the Multiverse to create specific results.
If I understood the statements correctly, magic is energy drawn from the dimensions of the Multiverse, which works like a program to alter the source code that shapes reality. Would that grang something to magic? I was thinking something like
Information Manipulation (Type 2) but I'm not sure
Another thing, is it possible that Dormammu could have resistance to Time Manipulation? I know it sounds very dumb at first but Kaecilius was able to resist
time reversal/
stop thanks to the
power that
Dormammu gave him, and he should be superior to his own Zealots. Dormammu being affected by the time loop, instead of an anti-feat or a contradiction, could be that the endless time loop with universal range is more layered than the time reversal/stop with city range
Thanks in advance and sorry for bothering
