Crona won, they didn't use the Cates stuff it seems. Next time is Red team vs Blue Team from Red vs Blue.

Also neat, there's a spoiler button now instead of having to copy and paste that stuff.
 
So, Crona vs Venom...anyone else kind of let down by the episode? I kind of thought their reasonings for not scaling/not using Cates' run was pretty weak and even without it, they seemed to directly ignore things like "Venom:The Madness" for his madness resistance and his older fights where he's tanked hits consistently from characters like Juggernaut and Hulk, and his speed is soo much lower even though he scales to characters like Spiderman, Miles Morales and Carnage, outside of that, I think they did Crona pretty good and the fight was interesting.

Welp....was really hoping for another halloween themed episode, ideally Alucard vs Dio/ Jon Talbain vs Saberwulf, but I'm not super broken up about it but like.....Red vs Blue really?? That kind of came out of left field imo.

So from what I gleamed in the comments on the DB wiki, they supposedly mention the cates stuff in their little pop-up boxes and basically say Venom beating Grendel and Dark Carnage is outside help and also iffy and that apparently Asura trumps all of cates scaling anyway or something

Wait, scratch what I said in that quote. Just realized there is a battle after this that takes place on the day after Halloween. Okay, a friend pointed out to me but the point is we can still get a good old fashioned spooky fight after all.
 
Just remembered that leak from a while ago that predicted The Boys fight also mentioned casting for Red vs Blue characters. So guess this gives more credence to that.
 
So with Crona winning, doesn't this mean that all the characters announced in the "Welcome Back to Death Battle" thing have won their respective DBs? Or am I forgetting something?
 
I'm very pleased with Crona winning ngl. Though I feel like the verdict could've been better, really. They should've addressed the Dark Carnage stuff more 'cause that's veeeeery recent and definitely changes the outcome of god knows how many MUs.

But hey! Crona continues my girl's legacy! :)

I hope I did the spoiler thing right...
 
I feel...disapointted and unsatisfied with Crona winning. Like, where was the scaling for Venom, the numbers, the codexs for Venom, the speed scaling. I hope they have a good explaination for this because i feel salty.
 
Crona winning was right the move if they weren’t gonna use Cates stuff but makes me wonder why bring venom back to just feed him to Crona

For those that want to know: They lightly glossed over the Cates stuff and left annotation boxes that Venom defeated Dark Carnage with outside help. I think they also said that Kishin Crona > Cates Venom in AP via a decibel value (like they did in Black Canary vs. Sindel). Venom was put at MHS+ and Crona at Relativistic.

I feel like I know where they're gonna go with this in the Q & A ngl. I feel like they might say that it can't be proven that Carnage still maintained their link to Knull and all that jazz when they fought Venom again in Venom Island, and maybe say that fighting that copy of Juggernaut isn’t enough to support the notion that Carnage perhaps did. Idk tbh. Still speculation from my end. But they better address this properly, because this might be one of the more saltier episodes of this season.

That's ******* bullshit. He literally beat Juggernaut, the Real Juggernaut, in Venom: The Madness. So Carnage should be at that level too considering he's consistently stronger and faster than Venom.

The episode is not a bad idea because it can be a really good joke episode. Issue is, a lot of the fan favorite/original voice actors that gave these characters life in the 1st place have left their roles. So we won’t get a proper episode like Meta vs Carolina.
