Worst Fanfictions Ever (New Forum)

If your making a badass edgelord at least admit to it!

Or if your doing it, at least try to do something unique or interesting. Like with Ragna from BlazBlue, at least subvert it and deconstruct it in an interesting way, or like with Guts or Hajime making him edgy but at least with interesting dynamics to him.

These guys just don't know how to write people...

Don't just have an OC that essentially has traits of literal edgelords or the like (Cid, Hajime, and however else this author's OC even has to "make them").

Like I said to @Grand_Saver_Ritsuka, they should at least to owe up to making one rather than making the excuse of making them "like normal humans" when their character in question ain't even anything of the sort.

Edit: I have an OC that probably/likely is an edgelord but even for my case, I try to give them something that makes more than just being an edgelord. Granted, I did have to look at what an EL was (lol, I don't be looking up this stuff for some time when I hear it lol) but I do try to not make them that one dimensional ish if I can.

That said, yeah it's like people make characters for the sake of making them but not put into the work of making them "feel alive". I'm also sure you can try that even if they turn out one or two dimensional, you just had to make it work instead of just making them as is.

Symphogear fans in general detest male oc self inserting into that verse as much as honkai's twitter actually. At least, this was quite the constructive criticism, outside of the person literally asking the author to delete their work. Like tbh even though i agree with the reviewer he doesn't have the right to straight up ask the author to remove his work, cause ultimately the story belongs to the author and they do what they want with it unless the author writes something against ffn's rules

Yeah, that's one hell of a review you don't want to ever get and see one day.

Although it's not exactly hard to see why the reviewer even said this sort of thing. While they don't have the right to tell someone what to do with their story by saying they should delete it (although actually getting better at writing quality stuff if not don't even put something like this for an "oversaturated series" for fanfics like Symphogear, yeah...), it's when they make stuff like this that will get anyone so annoyed with them. Not just because they could detest having male OC's/SI's but just how low quality the story content itself be like. Like if your summary alone already drives someone away, you know you're already doing a bad job of attracting potential audience.

I mean, he got a lot of reader and follower meanwhile someone who try hard to write it the good story got like hundred of it and few follower... What kind of unfair this shit is💀?

It's also the most insane and on high powdered stuff they're on considering they claim their OC in their "world" (owo) is the creator of two other multiversal creators or some sort, or the fact one of their other OC's got GF's from an entire magi girl franchise or some such.

Even the fact all members of their OC clan/family has the name "Chaos" in them...how unoriginal do you have to be to name yourself that lol

I ain't that stupid enough to name My OC chaos excluding the form name, if anything: Most of my Oc who girl are named based on flower and Male Oc is random (Because I bad at give name to my character). But still more original than Had entire family last name is Chaos💀.

Anyway, I still wonder how the heck they got like 10-20k reader and 1.2k follower while other my favorite fanfic that follow canon character personality got like under 2k reader and 151 follower? What kind of bullshit did I see?

symphogear is oversaturated for fanfics?
IIRC it is one of the series people pay the least attention to. Usually there is barely fifty for so fanfics in wattpad and most are kamen rider self insert. even ao3 and fanfic net has more fanfics but don't compare to other more popular series like bleach etc.

For how often it gets used as a base for Kamen Rider fics, yes.

Though in hindsight, it absolutely does not compare to how often RWBY, DxD, Honkai, Naruto, DMC, Fate, and the like get used up so much for the most ridiculous set of combos I've ever seen get used.

XDU and symphogear in general has a habit of nerfing other verses they crossover with to make the girls look cool. IIRC the ******* downplayed seventh expansion just so their geahs could look cool being mary sues.
Thank goodness they never made it to FGO or akasha forbit tsukihime/knk. Prisma illya was acceptable sacrifice. Tsukihime/knk/mahoyo and older TM series are literally fundamentally incompatible with the symphogears messages. (and also more based)

Prisma's one thing as I'm sure Symphogear COULD beat them...or lose even given this is TM and while I still have reservations on how this place rates TM in general, I can definitely also see even those from Prisma maybe even beat Symphogear...maybe.

Though yes, 07th Expansion was nerfed I suppose. Same for Godzilla although I think that one is varied cuz idek where Godzilla can ever be at for anything... Saint Seiya is definitely nerfed too as I often hear it be cracked out too, Kamen Rider also (ironically enough but idk truly how OP it gets but surely has to be superior to Symphogear at some point), and I've got zero clue for the other collabs they did either in their game or in others or DC for them.

That is the nature of collabs though in the end. They will nerf/buff one side or the other just so one doesn't get trumped so easily, and that's also assuming they're not that incompatible af to begin with.
 
When fate fans make fanfictions, they are usually fat blobs, when megaman fans make fanfictions, they are actual physicists that teach on universities, funny how that works. So going on by my asinine logic Megaman>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Everything

Tbh symphogear collabs seems to work as if the gears should be the main characters while the crossovering series where side characters needing the adaptors to save them. If they tried this shit with old TM and did not give TM the respect it deserved i would had personally blasted them in the reviews. I and my whole TM gangs perhaps. Already XDU is a cheap ass ripoff of Grand order gameplay wise.
 
I'm still in the process of just trying to iron out some more fanfic ideas out there, especially in lieu of there just being those brainrot fanfics out there on top of everything else on AO3 in particular just being all yaoi/yuri fics lol.

That's kinda my grip with most other fanfics in general and I don't mean to offend others with this as I don't mind it. It's more of a sense of like, "Okay this is cool and all, but where are there any okay stories with an actual plot for to me try and read through?"

I'm probably still among the minority who tries to do something of the sort on either websites, even if they're also the kind that's on Wattpad like making harem ish fics or its mature rated or whatever it is I want and like to write about.

And I only got like one fic on either websites yet I want to make more which I'm trying to do even rn but just never got one to actually actively work on it and post it xD

Fun fact, the guy who managed that shit, probably has connections to google, and also gave his position to an underage, so that whole page is ******* suspicious as all hell
 
Probably not the worst, but as a Halo fan this one was offensive.

It started out with an intriguing premise around Operation RED FLAG, but it got increasingly worse before taking a sharp nosedive. It introduces an entire team worth of Mary Sues, with one who is basically a brutish Psychopath that the UNSC would absolutely not tolerate beyond sending him on a suicide mission. This character assaults Master Chief to the point of near death, and basically gets away with attempting to murder his commanding officer.

To make matters worse, the entire fic wrote Master Chief to be as incompetent as possible, and had all the characters make him out as the asshole for understandably not wanting an uncontrollable maniac on a critical operation. By Chapter 12, I regretted ever giving that fic my time.

Unfamiliar grass, unfamiliar air, unfamiliar trees, and a very familiar bus with its rear end completely wrecked.

Yup, there's no doubting it; I have been isekaid.

And this is probably a world similar to a novel that I didn't get to pick up because I was so focused on studying.

This just goes on to show how bad the education system nowadays is. If I wasn't there worrying about my grades, then I would have surely been prepared for this type of situation.

Now I will die due to some old geezer not being satisfied with a two page long essay. It was a nice life while it lasted, I have no regrets. Although some parts were shit, especially the "Boku" experience.

I was simply naive back then, but not anymore. If only I had more time...

"Make Akira Akabane bleed, even if just a bit. That is the only way you will get to advance further. Now, start!"

The horn goes off, alarming everyone.

Akira looks around, only to be met with murderous glares and hostile poses.

"It's just training... why you so serious?"

Akira says before sprinting away, only that, the students thought this was a signal for the beginning of the hunt.

"Unobtainable."

Akira moved forward his body, his sole focus on the muscle he was using; no extra movements were made. No excessive expressions made, no excessive stress taken.

None of the energy he poured was wasted, every bit of it focused solely on a single part of his body. In this case, his foot and his sole.

He didn't know if it was instinct or habit, but he wasn't thinking about his next move anymore, rather his body already moved before his thoughts could catch up to him.

"Silat, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Kendo, and all the martial techniques I know of."

Akira twists his body, raising his leg up, then striking down at the Hedgehog's head.

Getting hit by such force, the Hedgehog shook its head and tried backing further away, only to be met with a flurry of ferocious strikes, each one stronger than the previous ones.

"Everything that I know of has become one and the same. Not a technique nor a art, simply becoming ideas that fuel my strikes."

Akira explains, swiping his legs at the Hedgehog's, faltering its balance.

"You are already too weak to continue."

Akira whispers, kneeing the Hedgehog straight in its guts.

The Hedgehog felt a surge of pain as it fell back, gasping for air.

It couldn't breathe, nor could it bleed or feel pain. But in the presence of a being such as Akira, it all became irrelevant.

So he ran.

He ran so far, so fast, not even the universe could possibly comprehend what was happening.

His shape?

Unknown.

His speed?

Unknown.

His mass?

Unknown.

How long had he been running?

Unknown.

The universe itself couldn't come to think of what Akira was, how he looked, where he was, what he was doing.

Akira had left everything in the universe far behind, so far behind that not even the abysmal beasts know of such depth.

Sound, light, gravity, matter, space, even time.

Everything was so... diluted.

In his presence, everything seemed so bleak and worthless.

He was the only real person—everything else was just there, for the sake of being there.

"Basically, you are cooked."

Saying this much, Akira continued, showering the Hedgehog with a flurry of fists. Hedgehog was ever so desperate to escape Akira's clutches, but at the speed Akira was throwing his punches at; it was impossible for Hedgehog to even comprehend what was happening. There was no pause, no interval—basically, they were instantaneous movements. If only there was a lag between Akira moving his hands forward and his fists landing. But the Hedgehog could only wish as there was no way for him to do anything about it, not even complain.

The laws of cause and effect, in a literal sense, had been reversed—Akira had left time so far behind in regards to speed that the results of his hits happened before the actual action.

"Special skill: Magnum bliss."

A bullet.

About 3 mm in size, launches out of thin air, aiming to strike Akira. However, it was not a linear attack, but a temporal one.


It propelled itself towards the future—3 seconds, to be exact.

At this point in time, there was no one who could dodge this skill, it being an special skill only bolsters this claim.

A temporal attack, a defenseless man, and a crazy woman.

What a sight, indeed!

A smirk widened across Alice's at the thought of seeing Akira Akabane, an unstable variable in her plans, finally being destroyed.

All it takes is an instance.

"Aghh!!"

Finally!

Akira Akabane was shot clean in the head, falling over the ground.

"Keke—hehe—hahahahahahahaha!!"

Alice laughed with a crazed look on her face.

"Phenomenal! Simply fantastic, if I say so myself."

Said Akira as he picked the bullet up from the ground.

Astonished, Alice shouts with aggression.

"How is this possible?! That bullet travels way beyond this temporal point! Screw that, I saw you get hit with that! How are you still alive?!"

Akira let's go of the bullet, only for it to dissapear. Akira seemed intrigued but set his priorities aside for the time being and looked at Alice.

"Simple really, I travelled back to the time it had skipped—about 3 seconds, to be exact."

Akira claimed calmly, stretching his arms.

Alice's grimness only worsens as she hears this.

"But there's no way.. there was no alterations in the world, no skill activation."

Alice whispered, backing away as she held her head in disbelief.

"I don't have any skills, pure hands and magic, bitch."

"Wha—"

Before Alice could finish her sentence, a punch landed square on her jaw, knocking the lights out of her.

Some interactions that I am still working on:

Akira: Why? Just why?! Why did you let him leave?!

Hinata: This is not the place nor the time, Akira... people are looking.

Akira: I said speak, Goddamit!

Hinata: I-I am sorry.. I can't. Please, let's just talk about this some other time, in a more secluded area.

Akira: Can't? Can't?! The **** do you mean?! You killed these people here today, not him, Hinata Shirayuki. And you still dare to try and keep your image good?! You did this, you and you alone! And you better believe you are gonna live with this fact for the rest of your pitiful existence. And I... I swear to God, I will make sure you do—every ******* second of it. I will be sure to make you remember it all.

Hinata: I was lied to! I swear! Please! Don't do this to me!

Akira: Are you ******* with me? How could you? How? I mean, just how?! How could you believe his words after knowing everything that he did? Did your vision get clouded by his six packs? His thic shlong? Huh?! You.. you are ******* disgusting. But now.. but now! It's perfect, just ******* perfect! Do you know why?!

Hinata:...

Akira: I asked, do you know why?!

Hinata: W-why?

Akira: Cuz the only person who could stop me today died in that fire! In the fire that YOU caused. And now.. and now, there's nothing— literally nothing in this stupid world that can stop me! No force, no power, no special something, no nothing!

I haven't been on Wattpad for a week now though, not since I decided to go to Archive Of Our Own for full time cuz I can't see myself doing my fanfic stories over there at their "fullest potential"...
