MCU Phase 4 General Discussion Thread

For the record, Kevin Feige outright stated the movie would deal with the origin of the MCU

The thing is Arishem is confirmed to have existed before anything, before the other Celestials and before the six singularities, wich were clearly said in the first Guardians of the Galaxy to be older than existence themselves and the IS were formed from those singularities by the Big Bang. So they existed in a time before time, before anything in fact, and then suddenly the singularities appeared. Now, taking the potential ridiculous amount of plot holes this might involve aside, this means the order of creation was this:

Nothing (like absolutely nothing, no time, not space, no life, no matter) -> Arishem (who spawned there because...because) -> creation of other Celestials (since it's said there were others before the singularities, so they were born before time) -> six singularities (wich include time itself since the Time Stone comes from one of them) -> Big Bang -> Stones are formed from the BB and the singularities

Based on everything we have, the only conclusion we have is that Celestials were responsible for the creation of time as a side effect of building everything since they started to create life, are repeatdly stated in official promo to be architect of existence and even time didn't exist before them since they existed before the singularities. And given Arishem was the very first of them, either he created them himself or they sponthaneously spawned there to. In any case, I'd say they're at least indirectly responsible for the singularities

They have nothing to do with the multiverse though, that I agree

I mean basically, yeah. Literally what happened was this:

Nothing (no matter, no life, no light, no space, no reality, no mind, no soul, not even time):
Absolute nothing:
Literally, totally NOTHING:

*A wild Arishem appears in the void from literally nothing
Hello. I'm gonna do what I will call a pro gamer move

Have to rewatch the scene but if I remember correctly, Fitz is right about Phastos saying Eternals possess infinite supplies of energy, he even explains that they get an unlimited supply of cosmic energy to keep themselves active and fuel their abilities and their plan is to make sure their "limiter" ability is deactivated so they will be overloaded by cosmic energy and fuel the Uni-Mind. And if Eternals possess infinite energy, well guess who has infinite supplies to....

Technically no one created the multiverse...the big bang made only a single universe and i dont know who else made the big bang if not Arishem but lol let's leave it as first sun.

The multiverse exists because of possibilities.

In both cases, that means Arishem is either so powerful he can use black holes for teleportation or produces black holes as a side effect of his teleportation
I wouldnt call it a black hole else earth should've been affected by it no matter the short time frame, the spacewarp was visible enough and close enough to cause a considerable amount of damage to the solar system especially earth, so that must have been an advanced celestial wormhole or something physicist havent discovered yet.

Not necessarily. Considering how powerful Arishem is, he very likely has the power to affect gravity to prevent it from ripping planets apart

Thought about something.
In the movie, Arishem says he was the one who created the Eternals and the World Forge notable was his design. Now the World Forge Can give birth to dozens of Eternals and if the unlimited energy per Eternal statement is confirmed, that means Arishem alone has the necessary energy to create Eternals and a whole factory that can produce at least dozens of them. So Arishem alone would be High 3-A

Very true, really Arishem has feats and statements that are all over the place but he should have nothing less than at least high 3A as tier. I still very much think that first sun us big bang though.

That statement at least is suite clear, we just need a calc of Phastos explaining to have a High 3-A Arishem (and an excellent supporting element for Low 2-C Infinity Ultron as Emirp said)
