Alright, Sun it is then, i wonder who made the big bang wong was talking abt in Infinity warsThat statement at least is suite clear,
How does it make ultron low 2c thoughwe just need a calc of Phastos explaining to have a High 3-A Arishem (and an excellent supporting element for Low 2-C Infinity Ultron as Emirp said)
Yeah portal creation sounds fine.Looks more like a mix of portal creation and pseudo black h9ole creation
Backing justificationHow does it make ultron low 2c though
Not ArishemAlright, Sun it is then, i wonder who made the big bang wong was talking abt in Infinity wars
OkBacking justification
Then who? Clearly there was no mention of big bang in Arishem version of creation. And there has to be a big bang, and if indeed there was a big bang what the hell did it create since the celestials already made everything? Not Arishem
Well it wasn't stated to be them. If the movie wanted to say they started the big bang, they would've. The movie only explicitly shows them making stars and stuffThen who? We don't?I don’t think we give High 3-A for Infinite Energy statements
Really?I don’t think we give High 3-A for Infinite Energy statements
Or then can say it in a poetic way, Kevin feige already said it talks abt the creation of the mcu, so if there was no mention of a big bang in Arishem version of creation then nothing like big bang happened in the mcu....or if it really did then Arishem first sun feat is the big bang. Or simply All of spacetime, matter, energy, infinity stones are the collective work of the celestials which should also justify for the high 3AWell it wasn't stated to be them. If the movie wanted to say they started the big bang, they would've. The movie only explicitly shows them making stars and stuff
Yeah, I dont know why that is heavily being ignored here. I also think the multiverse sprung from the main timeline anyway.I mean, the movie is pretty blatant about the fact the Celestials gave birth to the universe, at least in the main timeline anyway
Lol it was pretty clear and substantial enough that Phastos could harness this INFINITE ENERGY in making the unimind possible. So i dont think it was anything vague. I would suppose an energy source that can sustain a living being for all of time (effectively immortal) is infinite enough.Infinite energy can be referring to stamina or a power source that never ends and is too vague of a statement to assume high 3-A AP
Then what abt their feat for making spacetime, the stones, all the matter and energy in the universe? Even if it was a collective work it is still far beyond tier 4Guess we'll have to keep them at tier 4 then
It's complete except for the speed and tier, we havent agreed on tier and speed yet.And here's my sandbox for God (because let's be honest, that's what he is)
The problem is that, from what we see in the movie, they created the universe bit by bit by spawning stars and suns. Though there's the space partThen what abt their feat for making spacetime, the stones, all the matter and energy in the universe? Even if it was a collective work it is still far beyond tier 4
Except there's no proof of that and you're using headcanon to justify it instead of showing actual evidence, like scans and suchThey made spacetime itself we cannot deny that.
Headcanon? What other proof do u need?Except there's no proof of that and you're using headcanon to justify it instead of showing actual evidence, like scans and such
Lol what else made the big bang?Where does it state the Celestials create the infinity stones? Or caused the Big Bang?
I was just putting together all the quotes about the creation of the universe and stuffWhere does it state the Celestials create the infinity stones? Or caused the Big Bang?
Okay now explain how that’s supposed to translate to AP capable of destroying an infinitely sized space.Lol it was pretty clear and substantial enough that Phastos could harness this INFINITE ENERGY in making the unimind possible. So i dont think it was anything vague. I would suppose an energy source that can sustain a living being for all of time (effectively immortal) is infinite enough.
A wielder of infinite energy or a source of infinite energy should be enough to cause at least damage of such immeasurable magnitude too.Okay now explain how that’s supposed to translate to AP capable of destroying an infinitely sized space.
I cant remember where this was said in the movie but this proves everything " In the very Fabric of Existence itself"."The Celestials are the colossal progenitors of the universe as we know it. Throughout time, the Celestials have used their cosmic energy to create the building blocks of all of life across the cosmos. While only a few in the universe can grasp the power of the Celestials, their influence is felt in the very fabric of existence itself."
It depends overtime said everlasting energy could do it. Besides Infinite as opposed to everlasting was used.An everlasting energy source is not proof of said energy source being able to destroy a structure of infinite size.
It was said in this video that explain what the Celestials are.I cant remember where this was said in the movie but this proves everything " In the very Fabric of Existence itself".
imo is fineSo putting aside the current tier issue, are most people okay with the sandbox I made from Arishem (might add some of the stuff Fitz said like gravity, resistance to temperature, etc)?
Yeah I think it's alrightSo putting aside the current tier issue, are most people okay with the sandbox I made from Arishem (might add some of the stuff Fitz said like gravity, resistance to temperature, etc)?
Well its not the first time they portrayed a legendary figures being opposite from what they are Look at ThorSo I just came out of the theater, FINALLY, after a long wait, I've seen Eternals. It was really excellent, definitely one of my favorite MCU movies. And I've much to say about feats and powers.
- First, all the Eternals mostly scale to each other. Throughout the movie, they all take painful strikes and attacks from Deviants and each other at the end and survive even if it is painful. The thinkers of the group can take brutal hits from the Deviants, Ikaris's light beams and punches, Ikaris himself gets brutally smashed by Makkari (perfectly done both in terms of powers and characters) and can survive and we're shown Deviants can harm them, subdue them, punch them on meters and pierce their skin. Druig notably is shown being brutally punched by Ikaris numerous times before the latter hit his with his light beams to the point he (Druig) is crashed deep into the ground yet comes out some short minutes later with only a bloody slash. Even Sersi and Sprite can survive taking punches or being brutally thrown and can severly harm them with mundane weapons, Sprite with a small knife and Sersi with a branch she turns into a blade.
- In terms of hax, the movie was more than generous. Phastos can control technology, create and shape disks of metal, create weapons like guns against Ikaris at the end, whips and even temporarily depowers Ikaris in the final battle. He also briefly shows an image of Arishem to the others at one point and can create images of technologies he imagines and wants to create (like he thinks about steam engine in Ancient Mesopotamia) so minor Illusion Creation. Sprite can use her illusions to make herself and others invisible, change her appearence and that of others, imitate their voice or change hers to a new one and duplicate herself, others and objects and create fireworks (minor light manip). Druig (a fantastic character, gonna prepare his profile) can control an enormously large amount of people with a gesture, a look or a thought, at one point in a flashback he controls the entire population of Tenochtitlan plus the Spanish army that came to conquer the city with a thought and enslaves them, he's also heavily implied to erase memories, ends a brawl between several men and makes them happy with each other (Empathic Manip), can speak through those he mind controls (pseudo-possession) and at one point is said to have put Thena to sleep and is suggested to do the same to Tiamut before the transmutation option is chosen. Sersi changes a mere stone knife into an elaborated golden knife at the beginning of the movie (Metal Manip), turns a tablet into dust (Deconstruction), creates water from soil and from what I can remember, she turns a rock into a swarm of butterflies and there's an ice feat I think. Oh, and, you know about how in the MCU, she was apparently supposed to not be able to transmute living beings? Turns out she can, because she turns a Deviant into a tree at one point (though she admits she doesn't know how she did it). On the other side, Kro can drain the powers of Eternals (he does that to Ajak and Gilgamesh when he kills them), is shown to regenerate (High-Low, if I remember correctly he regenerates tissues, parts of his arms and fingers), can mentally speak with others by imitating the voices of the people he killed (he does that to Thena at the end) and alter other Deviants and make them stronger. Also, apart from Ajak, all Eternals (even Sprite, Sersi and Druig) are shown to be highly acrobatics (Druig at one point jumps onto a Deviant with a gun and shoots it in the head while on its back and the others regulary jump around to avoid attacks). And they're unfazed with being extremely close to lava.
- Now, the big one. Like, REALLY big (literally). Arishem. The opening text of the movie confirms the Celestials were the first beings to exist, before the six singularities so before the Infinity Stones and by extension the Big Bang and the universe/multiverse. Arishem is outright stated to be the Prime Celestial, the first to have existed and their leader (see people? I was right!) and the text says he created the first Sun (with a big S, yes) and brought light to existence (so at the very least a big 4-C feat). He is the one who directly created the Deviants then the Eternals (who are basically synthetic beings) millions of years ago in a place called the World Forge (wich he also created by himself). Everytime a new Celestial is born from the Emergence, Eternals are taken away, have their memories erased and the process begins again. Another big element, at one point, Arishem shows Sersi a massive flashback to explain the role of the Celestials. You remember the pic with a red palm and a ball of light in it and we said Arishem caused the BB? Well, the scene the pic comes from shows the palm (confirmed to be Arishem's) in absolute darkness, then the ball explodes and we're shown planets, countless stars and space clouds coming from the explosion, wich basically confirms that, yes, this is the Big Bang and Arishem caused it (oh, and the ball of light is very small in his palm). Now remember, Loki (the series) confirmed that at the very beginning, there wasn't a universe but a multiverse, with infinite timelines, and it was HWR who reduced it to a single timeline (by taming Alioth), wich happened after the creation of the Universe naturally. So, YES. That's it folks. Arishem created the Multiverse basically by himself by virtue of causing the Big Bang and is basically God for the MCU and the Celestials endlessly participated in pushing its boundaries. BIG 2-A feat there. It is also explains that Celestials create planets, suns and ultimately form galaxies (we see them creating large suns and potentially at least several stars or even pure galaxies, I couldn't see clearly at that moment, with their bare hands and energy and they're much larger than what they create) and they're essential for the Universe because they basically create heat, not only from creating suns but from their own energy and without them creating new Celestials, existence will freeze and fall into complete darkness and die. Finally, Arishem shows some pretty spectacular hax. Aside from large size, cosmic energy manip, matter manip, creation, life manip, immortality (type 1 at least), self-sustenance (all types, obviously) and space flight, he doesn't have a mouth so he mentally communicates with Sersi and Ajak (telepathy) and shows her images of him and other Celestials creating existence, the World-Forge, Celestials destroying a planet via birth and other stuff (Illusion Creation). Then at the very end of the movie, he comes to Earth (and by to, I mean he is very far from Earth and is so big his entire face covers the horizon and teh way he appears, he was very likely visible for everyone on Earth) wich causes enormous storm clouds and yellow lightning to appear in the sky (weather manip), grabs Sersi, Kingo and Phastos from Earth and pulls them from the planet to in front of him in space with restraints of pure golden energy without touching them (massive levels of telekinesis) and then teleports. And his teleportation creates what appears to be a black hole that is only a bit smaller than his chest as a side-effect of the teleportation itself. His teleportation also involves creating an enormous space wormhole, wich is also shown when the green Celestial appears to create a galaxy.
So in the end, all Eternals scale to each other and should have their own profile (minus Ajak, who doesn't have feats), Celestials as a species should have a general profile and Arishem should have his own profile (and I volunteer to take care of him and Druig in addition of Phastos and Sersi, don't care about Gilgamesh anymore so if someone wanna do it, go ahead).
And as I thought, Gilgamesh was a big problem for me. First, because promotional material state he's the kindest of the Eternals, wich is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the myth in wich he was such a jerk he would make most tyrants of history look like saints before Enkidu. And second, because EVERY SINGLE TIME his name was prounounced, the only f*cking thing I could think about was the Fate version.
