was not exactly finished but Gremmy's immortality was accepted but was not added.
 
What I meant is that Yhwach gave Ichigo a part of his powers when Ichigo took his sword and cut the Soul King in Half

That's just Yhwach using his Reiatsu to puppeteer Ichigo because Ichigo has the same blood as Yhwach - he didn't boost his power or anything.
 
Then why would he mention that again in Chapter 679 ? I can't think of anything else other than that instance, unless you were to count Ichigo absorbing Yhwach's Reiryoku blasts ?

It could be that but it doesn't make sense in the context of the story. Quincies existed before Yhwach was born 1200 years ago.
 
Yes. But I am referring to a Quincy been born with powers similar to Yhwach, and Jugram every 200 years. This legend was a thing before Yhwach was born.
 
Ichigo's hollow powers were also taken because they were fused with Ichigo's Quincy powers and we all know Yhwach didn't give those to Ichigo. I am more on Rukia's side where can't really be taken forever they eventually come back. Ichigo got his powers restore multiple times in the series despite someone stealing them or losing them.
 
Ashido Kanou was mentioned in it, even him being lost in HM. Wouldn't this make the filler episodes canon?

Kubo wanted that story to be canon but couldn't add it to the manga, so he added to the anime.

Wait so Ashido's actually Canon by default ?
 
I think it was mentioned in CFYOW, and it does fit in the timeline since there was a long time-skip.
 
Yeah it's canon. Some of the characters from SAFWY were mentioned in CFYOW. And we really need somebody to get their hands on a copy of SAFWY. It has some really important scaling in it that we can't confirm if it's real or not without the scans. I tried to buy the novel on amazon jp but it said it requires some Japanese address and account or something so I gave up trying to buy it.

Just read the fan translation then. After all most new manga scans, and almost every light novel here is just fan translation.
 
@M11UTD The problem is there are no fan translations. There are only fan summaries of SAFWY. And it's been years since the novel came out.
