Gremmy Immortality.

No, because he still ended up dying.

Those with Type 5 do not possess the ability to die in conventional ways.

For instance, Tiamat literally does not possess the concept of death and thus instant-death attacks will fail to work on her until that concept is forcibly imposed on her being.

Actually no. He never died. His imagination ended and that's is how gremmy lost his battle. Since his imagination was at his limits.
 
I am also super neutral on this.
 
I'll have to give those chapters a reread but I'm tentatively against this. Will come back to it later.

He was nearly dying but has removed his DEATH.

Which he later states his 2 clones can't die. And also stated everyone will die together with meteorite he created except he will still exist after everything vanished.

He also denied his death at the last moment. He only lost because his imaginary was at it limits.(the defeat of his imagination ended up erasing gremmy)
 
And after his imagination was defeated. Gremmy didn't die he literally got erased. since gremmy body was part of his imagination.(Which he also states I will imagine a world without imaginatio)
 
Deathless Immortality: Characters who exist unbound by conventional life or death, or do not exist at all, and thus cannot be traditionally killed. Typically, abilities such as Existence Erasure are needed to destroy them.

I don't know about the unbound by death and life stuff,only thing we know about this in the Bleach world is that death didn't exist in the old world.

Gremmy although did erase the image of his death with The Visionary though,and technically he doesn't exist since his body is just a figment of his imagination and his true form is just a disembodied brain.

@Sigurd He erased himself in those panels which he also stated byself(he literally denied dying in the first page of that chapter lol) the one fading into oblivion is me, though (and his death clearly looks like himself getting erased rather than dying)
 
This is likely Immortality type 7. He is a "death" soul without life. Only his brain funtions through a Jar. The "Death" imagination is just for his "physical" body dying which was created from his power to life.
 
Never said he was a zombie. Just a death soul's brain in a Jar trying to pretend he has Immortality type 5 when his body is fake.
 
Undead: Characters who cannot die due to technically being already dead, often overlapping with other forms of immortality.

Also what is a death soul's brain,i'm not understanding where your getting this from??
 
In Bleach we have:

  • Humans (Living People)
  • Souls (Living Souls after they die as Humans)
  • Death Souls (The souls of those who die while been a soul but are still around.)
  • Hollows (Corrupted Souls.)
  • Reincarnation. (Souls that when they die go to live in the Human world again without memories of their past life. Souls remove from Existence can't reincarnate.)
Gremmy falls in the same category as the Soul Zombies, Rukia's Bankai and Yhwach's corpse.
