    In the latest chapter of Dragon Ball Super (Chapter 47), Vegeta notes that Buu's energy doesn't decrease when fighting Moro (who passively absorbs energy from his opponents). So Buu should have Resistance to Energy Absorption. The chapter can be read online for free legally here.
