Legend of Zelda General Discussion Thread

No which is why the 12 ends turned into 64 originally.
Okay, I'm curious.

How 12 ends?
How 64 ends?

Were that many kinds of materials considered?
Multiple ends for the measuring stick (Seemingly Link's height in that case?), volume, velocity or mass, maybe?
Some combination of those?

Pardon any bother for my asking this, please.

Mix of both measure and material

Was doing Ether Medalion and it gets between 9-A, or 6-C.

Also watched a longplay of FSA for feats, there's some actual good stuff in there for calcs. Scaling some might be a lil ard but AP, every Link can mooch because the FS is fraud af.

Four Swords characters forever condemned to mid tier hell I almost feel kinda bad for all of them, EXCEPT for Vaati I will forever find it funny that he spefically is far below anyone worth a damn

I dunno if I put it in there or if someone else did (My memory ain't so good):

Pocket Reality Manipulation (Created small pocket dimensions within his tower that sends Link into time periods where he fights old bosses he's already defeated while only having the equipment he had during the original fights[44])

Is this not just time manipulation? Tried searching but I couldn't find anything that said or implied that the rooms Link walks into are actually small pocket dimensions instead of weird time magic that Ganon uses for those rooms or something (Dude even does some time fuckery earlier in the same game). Was thinking of making a quick CRT to just remove this ability and move it into his time manipulation justification.

Player's guide just says it's identical to the 1st time you've fought.
Obviously isn't pocket reality because Valoo there, but idk if it's time manip, because if he was sending you back in time, there'd be two Links there.

He's prob just recreating it, not like he can't.

Finally, confirmation...
MM enjoyers, we won...

Damn so you can get whacky with bind and the monsters you can create, I really liked using the spider enemy (Dunno if it's meant to be a skulltula) to climb the wall. Also always a welcome addition to have outfit customisation. Looks like the rift might be a Dark World and Lorule kinda thing where you can enter it for a different map going by the portal Zelda jumps into? That'd be neat.

This scan has been privated
Can't really edit due to my internet atm (Out and about so only got my phone) but should be a simple enough fix once I get to my laptop, provided someone else doesn't beat me to it.

also new cool render for Nando, classic blue pig Ganon will always be best Ganon

Forgot how many yottatons Ganondorf's blood moon was and went to check and saw a dude in the comments saying Dark Beast Ganon should be multiversal via scaling to Demise lmao

Let’s go all the way. Demise’s curse means that each incarnation of his hatred scales to him which means multiversal Vaati.

Is there anything even mutliversal in HW anyway? Sometimes parts of different time periods or other worlds get partially merged into the main world of that game but can't recall anything on an actual multiversal scale.

A weakened, Base Ganondorf was stronger than the Triforce, and a Link that was nowhere near his or the Master Sword's full potential was tearing body parts off of a full power full Triforce Ganon.

Putting my skepticism against base Ganondorf being superior to the full power of the Triforce (As well as apparently a Master Sword not at full power doing that), neither of those would be remotely close to multiversal anyway

Why do you feel LESS excited about it now?

That said, I'll say it isn't much.

Bind & Reverse Bond are neat, I guess.
Well, all in all I'd say wait and see how things turn out. I'm guessing they are pushing in another direction to avoid a "why not just use Link" scenario (how successful they are is another matter entirely, though).

I'm still happy Zelda got her own game.
