She has scaling to Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Hawkwoman, Jade (a Green Lantern character), Starro (a Justice League villain), and Starfire. Breaking Nth metal is also a Herald lvl feat.

Starfire has scaling to Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl.

Overall it's pretty obvious Blackfire is getting Herald scaling if she makes it on the show.

I mean technically but she's the lower end of herald stuff. Like when people write her and her sister they go "yeah they're pretty strong and should be like around most other supers who fly around and way above street tier character" rather than anything that impressive in their own right. Like Starfire and Blackfire is a herald tier character in the same way Spider-Man are mid weight marvel characters. They're put into categories in a "yeah that looks about right" sorta way rather than like anything really that impressive on their own.

Hmm... okay, new discussion: what other CB/TOP MUs do you see happening? We got a decent amount confirmed through the Kickstarter, but I could see more coming next year. Though admittedly, I was wondering because OFF was announced to be getting a Steam/Switch version, so Sans vs The Judge might be able to get some good timing depending on how they go about it.

Really? That's an interesting change, since I imagine that most of us thought that Tom's daughter or someone to help redeem Shadow.

Do you remember what Sonic said or did to convince Shadow to change his ways? Because I have to assume that Sonic 3 doesn't have that tidbit from SA2 where Shadow's vengeance against humanity was a result of Gerald brainwashing Shadow and rewriting his memories.

My prediction is that this "ultimate power" that's in the synopsis is in reference to the Chaos Emeralds, and that they're powerful enough to warrant Darkseid's attention and his desire to obtain them.

I can't wait for the inevitable discussions that will come up discussing the canonicity of the crossover with the games.

I don't know about you all, but I find it simultaneously funny and sad that we got a Sonic and DC crossover before a genuine Mario and Sonic crossover that isn't part of a spin off series or already part of a massive crossover.

Come on SEGA and Nintendo, let me see Mario and Sonic team up in an actual crossover platformer game please.

This reminds me of that short animation Sega themselves made I think, which has Shadow dressed and chasing down a criminal just like Batman.

I wouldn't be surprised if SEGA threw up their hands and said "**** it! DC is canon to the games now, *************!"

But to be genuine: I don't think that's going to happen, DC and Sonic are owned by two radically different companies and I doubt they're going to canonize either of their properties to each other due to copyright. Plus, I doubt that the crossover is going to include the game versions of the Sonic crew and the Earth-0 versions of the DC heroes...they might end up being completely original versions altogether.

If a proper crossover between Mario and Sonic ever happens I think the best way to do it would be as an RPG. People bring up how a platformer game might not work well given the vastly different playstyles, but honestly making a game with the same gimmick as partners in time (But with Sonic and Tails instead of the baby Mario Bros.) where you aim to stop Eggman and Bowser would be dope.

That's a fair reason for SEGA to have not considered collaborating with Nintendo for a crossover, from my perspective. Well with how well Sonic games have been doing over the last few years, and the new president at SEGA really wanting to revitalize Sonic and other SEGA franchises, hopefully that streak of good games continues and SEGA can continue making good Sonic games to consider a crossover with Mario.

That actually sounds like a pretty sound idea, though if they go the RPG route then I'd like the game to be like an action RPG instead of a traditional turn based RPG.

And maybe in between battles, you can have this open world that's like a mixture of Sonic and Mario locals and has like platforming challenges in it to appeal to those who wanted platforming without it being the primary focus.
