And maybe in between battles, you can have this open world that's like a mixture of Sonic and Mario locals and has like platforming challenges in it to appeal to those who wanted platforming without it being the primary focus.

Ooh, I just had an idea for those platforming challenges. What if depending on the character you're playing as, the style of the platforming changes to suit that character in particular?

So like if you were playing as a Sonic character, the platforming would be fast (the Adventure formula would work in this instance) while playing as a Mario character would result in slower and more traditional platforming compared to Sonic. The possibilities are endless with how they can cater to Sonic and Mario's styles of gameplay without having to make compromises.

If a proper crossover between Mario and Sonic ever happens I think the best way to do it would be as an RPG. People bring up how a platformer game might not work well given the vastly different playstyles, but honestly making a game with the same gimmick as partners in time (But with Sonic and Tails instead of the baby Mario Bros.) where you aim to stop Eggman and Bowser would be dope.

That would be neat. An RPG would allow the supporting cast to take action as well, even if just as supports.

And if Bowser and Eggman were to teamup make them good friends that actively support each other and get far with their evil plans because of their camaraderie and cooperation. We've already seen the villanous teams fall out due to egos and such way too many times already, let them use the power of friendship in their favor as well!

The worst I can say so far is that Lex Luthor looks a bit awkward, & that DC's track record on live action isn't ideal, plus they've rehashed so much. (& also I'm still waiting for Dr. Fate or Martian Manhunter or Starfire. Or maybe Blue Beetle or something. Mxyzptlk or Batmite could also be cool.)

Also, I am SO happy to see KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG IN THAT TRAILER!!! Yes! How Krypto is introduced, from what we see, feels introduced. A good tone. Superman should give hope, & so far, his trailer has done that. Now to hope the hopes of the movie living up to the expectations the trailer set are not let down....

Saw the Sonic 3 movie, it was peak fiction. I could cry.
