No you see, scaling in this VS show matters unless you're critiquing it, then it actually doesn't matter at all. It's that simple, really.
But seriously, I at least get where he's coming from. If the scaling was better but everything else about the episode was awful, then no one would like it. That doesn't mean it's a non-factor, obviously, but still.

I don't think it matters that much; they just much rather watch the animations than engage in a debate. You can't make someone care about something they don't; they aren't required to discuss why something is wrong, especially in something as subjective like VS debates. The debate/calcs may be one of the appeals, but it doesn't compare to the animation portion everyone comes to the video for. People just enjoy watching familiar characters they know in exciting battles far more than how many terashits per megafart an explosion is worth.

Man, this fight is so raw, I liked how it had plot and it incorporated the story of previous fights and the story of different series'
Also it was really cool when they started shredding each other in the sun.
