He's also extremely reliant on his DF, it looks like. And a lot of the characters we've seen awakened are like that.

Oda said VEGAPUNK will reveal the information about DFs- he can put DFs in inanimate objects, right? And we know Zoans and Paramecias have been shown, but what if Vegapunk's SSG is actually an army like Queen? Cyborgs who use multiple abilities. Or even worse, have logia abilities

Depends on what the actual statement is, but probably not.
He also might not have reiju's abilities since he only mentions brothers in the spoilers and he didn't show hers.

If you think about it, the monster trio each got two upgrades.
Luffy's first upgrade was Armament Advanced Coating and Projection, and his second upgrade was Conquerors Coating.
Zoro's first upgrade was Enma (although his upgrade also has it's detriments lol), and then his second upgrade was basically trusting Enma and letting it do as it wants (which gave him Conquerors Coating).
Sanji's raid suit seemed like an upgrade, but it was more like the key to the first upgrade (the awakening of his body modifications), and his second upgrade is Ifrit Jambe and whatever the white lighting is (if it isn't just an extension of Ifrit Jambe or a visual effect). Although for Zoro and Sanji, upgrade 2 are extensions of upgrade 1, but whatever.
