Persona 4 Arena and Ultimax refute this entire debacle that they have to do something before they activate their Persona’s, which is further elaborated since the story is quite literally a tournament, and doing a menial action like shooting their head with an Evoker (P3), or crushing a Tarot Card (P4), would be wholly inconvenient.
Coupled with the fact most fights in Persona are essentially 4v4 (or higher) they logically have no time to pose every single time they want to make a move, especially against world ending threats like Yaldabaoth, Erebus, so on, so forth.

Sorry to bother you, but I just had a quick question on probability manipulation potency.
I know potency can be determined on certainty like turning a 0% chance to 100%, but can it also be determined on how many possibilities a character can effect?
For example, would Othinus or the Transcendence who passively manipulate infinite possibilities to 100% have greater potency that a character who can just put one possibility to 100%?
There's a bit of contention here
