Stars of Cinder • RP Thread (ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

"I uh... I think I'm fine, Rex." Elis said with a chuckle, "Thanks, guys... Let's hope to whatever God is out there that this works..."
 
Charlotte nodded.

"...Good luck out there..." She said, patting her on the shoulder. A moment later, she vanished, teleporting behind a nearby building. She morphed Phoebe's Fist into rapid-fire mode, pointing it towards the area. She readied herself to fire at a moment's notice.

Tarak, who had picked up the gist of the plan, simply creaked and rattled his way towards a nearby trashcan, stepping into it and putting the lid on top of him.

"..Tarak good at hiding..." Tarak muttered to himself.
 
Sophia would grin at Tarak's way of hiding, before quickly glancing over to Elis and Olorin. She would cast Enhance and two layers of shield along with an extra layer of Reflect along with Courage on the both of them. Once that was done, she would teleport away in a flash of white light thanks to Apport and cast Bend on herself, turning her entire body invisible.
 
Adrian and Kirby hid as well.

"Alri-"

All of the Stars of Cinder were able to feel a sense of impending dread befall them, Elis freezing in place. She looked around for the source of this dread, sweating profusely. "Get ready..." She warned Olorin.
 
Nageki would feel it, the dread that befell everyone else. Sweat dripped down his face, but he pushed the feeling aside. No longer was he going to be under the palm of Zodd. The blade that clung to his hip glowed in the darkness, reacting to his own thoughts. If anything, it slightly comforted him. Sophia would be feeling the same thing as everyone else to the point of having to cast Courage on herself, but seeing as how she didn't know where everyone else was, she couldn't do the same to anyone else.
 
Charlotte shivered, her hand tightening within her gauntlet as she let out a soft, shaky breath. A bead of sweat began to fall down her face.

"...I hope she knows what she's doing..." Charlotte thought.

Tarak was seemingly unaffected by the dread. He stood motionless in his trashcan, his hands curling around his club.
 
"A-Agh-! Ahhhhh...! Someone help me...!!!"

Elis, hearing the shouts, would turn to the roof of a nearby building.

"Weird... It seems as though I didn't even need to find you again. You found me." ...Zodd would say, Elis's face contorting with unimaginable fury as Adrian had to barely hold himself back from attacking.

"M-Ms... Elis...." Elis's eyes would widen.

"Seraphina...!?" She shouted out, "Let go of her you creep!!!"

"Her name was Seraphina, then? Very interesting..." Zodd murmured, not seeming to notice that the rest of the Stars of Cinder barring her and Olorin were there... yet.
 
Sophia would growl slightly, a white light slowly gathering as she prepared Apport, before stopping as Nageki gripped her shoulder, shaking his head. She would look at him, and then he back at her, both reading each other's eyes before Sophia had to back off.
 
Kentoria and Lothon barely held themselves back from attacking, while Olorin began trembling, staring up at Zodd before... "LET GO OF HER!" Olorin shouted, her voice unshaking or wavering
 
Charlotte froze, her breathing catching for a moment. The sweat that had begun to fall from her body began to increase as she heard the girl's words.

"****…" she hissed quietly. Her mind filled with conflicting emotions as she clenched her fist tightly. She was no hero, there was no reason for her to care if the girl had been captured. And, more importantly, they were in the middle of a plan that they couldn't afford to mess up. She knew all that...yet...

"...God...damn it..." She muttered. She closed her eyes, her body trembling as she tried to calm herself down.
 
"Let her go? As you wish." Zodd would grab Seraphina by the neck and throw her into the air, making sure not to grip her to hard as to immediately kill her, but clearly, the force at which she was thrown broke a few of her bones.

"A-Aaaahhhh!!!" Seraphina shouted in intense fear and pain as she hovered in the air, flying across the area.

"S-Seraphina-!" Elis would shout before freezing in place. This was bait. He was trying to see if anybody was hiding... To see if anybody would react to the girl being in danger.
 
Olorin pulled out a device, catching Seraphina with a telekinetic grab with her device, breathing heavily, Kentoria visibly wincing hard as Lothon frowned
 
Before Sophia could move or even do anything, Nageki would grip onto her shoulder tighter. She would breathe in, and out as the two watched Olorin catch Seraphina. But, she couldn't sigh in relief just yet as the two had to stay silent.
 
Charlotte breathed out, not dropping her guard as she saw Olorin catch the girl. A feeling of dread began to overtake her, knowing Zodd could very easily escalate the situation further.

"...How much longer do we have to wait here..." She thought.
 
As Ryu saw Seraphina's fall, Ryu almost summon his swords until he saw Olorin catch the girl safely with a relieved face.

Ryu is itching to summon his swords and immediately bombard Zodd but he also know that he needs to stay put in order to kill Zodd once and for all
 
"Hm..." Zodd was clearly still suspicious.

"Let's test, then, Marked One."

Zodd prepared to launch himself down from the building. He held no weapons, so he was presumably going for pure melee...

"NOW!" The Masked Man shouted telepathically.
 
As Ryu heard the masked man's signal, he immediately summon his swords up to fifty and also wields 2 of his majestic swords in order to take down Zodd once and for all

Ryu then launch his summoned swords to Zodd and cover his surroundings with his summoned swords to not let Zodd escape
 
Kentoria rained fire Slashes on Zodd as he left down, Lothon fired earth spears at him, and Talandar rushed him at blinding speeds, even for the group

Olorin got Seraphina on the ground and got in front of Elis, closing her eyes as she prepared to take a hit for her
 
"About damn time..." Charlotte muttered.

Charlotte immediately teleported behind Zodd, setting her gauntlet to rapid-fire mode as she let loose a massive barrage of bullets at the demon.

Tarak burst from his trashcan, letting out a screech of pure bloodlust. Gripping his club tightly, he coated it in dark magic, before repeatedly swinging at Zodd's head.

Nageki would finally lessen his grip on Sophia, allowing her to cast Apport on him, teleporting the swordsman right over Zodd as he brandished his new elemental blade combined with his own katana. Dual wielding both weapons, he would fling himself downward, enhanced by a gust of wind as he slammed downward. Sophia would turn to the rest of the group, casting Enhance on all of them along with a layer of Shield and Reflect along with Courage to negate the effects of dread. To any currently charging Zodd, she would cast Blink to create multiple after-images to make it harder for them to keep up with.
 
Brownie jumped into her winged form and unleashed a barrage of homing blasts at Zodd.

For his part, Rex via TP positioned himself in front of Olorin and Elis to serve as defenses while also attacking with several quick shots from his Ray gun in his dual mode.
 
Zodd chuckled.

"Olorin, Rex-!" Elis shouted

Zodd burst off the building at blinding speeds, his form rapidly changing as he avoided all the attacks with burst speed. Adrian and Timcanpy jumped forward, Adrian moving far faster than Timcanpy as he set his physical capabilities to the max, but, he was too slow, Zodd shooting past the both of them and bisecting Timcanpy, sending both halves of her flying as she took the damage for Olorin and Rex, but regardless, the speed from his burst released a shockwave that covered the entire block swiftly.

"Regardless..."

There was a trail of destruction in his wake. Corpses of people who tried to evacuate lay there in the rubble, coated in dust and rock. And there would stand Zodd the Immortal, Seraphina trembling hard and nearly having a full-on panic attack at the sight, at the monster...

The moonlight was his bastion, and blood was his fuel.

"You are not my targets. I will be going all out from the start..."
 
"Damnit-!"

Immediately, Nageki's sight focused on the currently bisected Timcanpy, shooting multiple bolts of electricity in her way in order to telekinetically hold the two halves together. While he was focusing on that, Sophia would cast Enhance multiple times on Adrian to boost his speeds to insane heights.

'This was a plan gone horribly wrong...' Sophia thought to herself as she began to cast Earth Armor for those who want to take on Zodd head-on, creating a solid armor of earth and rock around their bodies.
 
"A befitting grotesque look there Zodd." Says Ryu as he coat his summon swords with holy fire and launch them to Zodd again, this time to bisect his wings.

"The plan failed huh, well it was never an easy fight in the first place!"
 
"TIM!" Charlotte shouted, instantly, She teleported away, catching one of the halves of the golem as she quickly rushed over to connect it with the halves Nageseki was using telekinesis on. While doing so, she immediately raised her right arm, shooting another barrage of bullets at the demon.

"You ******* monster...." She spat, venom and rage in her voice.

Tarak rushed towards Zodd again, jumping into the air and slamming his club against the demon's head.
 
Olorin staggered, clutching her chest and stomach, taking two steps back and going right into Elis, her breathing Harsh as she began to collapse, even as she tried to stay standing

Kentoria showed no fear, only pure rage as she rushed into melee range of Zodd, raining Slashes on him as she struck in such a way she hit all over the demon with her slash.

Talandar seemed to be completely bloodlusted at this point, blades out to try and cut Zodd to ribbons and decapitate him, but he also was focused on defending his downed master and Elis

Lothon growled something in rage, making the earth under Zodd drop to force the demon into mid-air to try and force it to dodge another way
