Stars of Cinder • RP Thread (ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

Even with all of their efforts, these attacks didn't seem to slow them down unless they were straight-up killed, the wave of creatures fighting through Rex's tornados and fire while trying to swarm Kentoria at the same time, Charlotte seeming to have some time to hide as the beasts were focused on the group's offense, Ryu and Kentoria, now trying to swarm and rip both of them to pieces.

"F-...! Fuuuu!- Fifteen! Minutes!... Th-... Thank you.... Ha... Phares!!!" Elis shouted out, blood beginning to pour from her nose. How long had it been since she prepared a spell this large scale...?

Phares wasn't able to cover all fronts of the guard, though, one of the flying creatures latching their teeth onto his shoulder and trying to completely remove his arm.

"Ally is in danger. Ally is in danger. Master is in danger. Optimal route: Protect master." Timcanpy considered helping Phares, but considered protecting Elis to be more important, leaving the man to deal with the attack on his own.

"Chih, this is troubling." Says Ryu as he unleashes his third and fourth swords and controlling them skillfully, he also create even more swords to aid his allies.

This is quite a number, I still can hold on for fifteen minutes but gotta check the situation of my allies thought Ryu.
 
Kentoria shield bashed the calamities swarming her fearlessly, beginning to push towards Elis as a cut appeared on her cheek, managing to dash over and slaughter the Calamity trying to bite off Phares' arm and moving onto dealing with the calamities following her, raining them with Elemental Slashes and power
 
Rex didn't respond, it was as if his body moved on its own, too much danger, too much evil, it burned like a strong silent hate.

He swung his arm around and released a wave of ice that froze as many calamities as he could and the tornadoes began to burst into flames.
 
Charlotte grabbed a rock from the ground, before hurling it at one of the calamities near the wall. However, before the rock could complete its flight, she used her teleportation to swap places with it, quickly closing the distance while maintaining the rock's initial momentum. Clenching her fist, she launched a vicious series of blows, targeting the beasts swarming around Ryu and Kentoria.

"Hey Charlotte, grab my sword! It should give you a significant boost!" Says Ryu as he sent a duplication sword to Charlotte.

"You should use this too Kentoria." Says Ryu as he sent another sword to Kentoria.
 
Kentoria's main sword vanished as she grabbed the one provided by Ryu, which just so happened to be the exact same as the one she normally used because reasons for use to get over to Elis
 
"...Thanks...!" She yelled out, gripping the sword in one hand as she felt power surge into her body. Brandishing the weapon, she began to assault the calamites around her with a mixture of rough sword slashes and blows. She clearly wasn't used to using bladed weapons, but by carefully analyzing the angle and length of the blade, she was still able to perform competently with it, expertly deducing how deep she needed to cut into a calamity and what angle of slashing was most effective when attacking them.
 
“Thanks for that” Phares called to Kentoria before yelling “Don’t worry, just keep doing what your doing Elis,” back to her as he gripped his injured shoulder. Never thought I’d be fighting so hard to protect others like this, He though to himself as he began his assault on the fliers again this time paying close attention for any getting too close.
 
The calamities, while clearly somewhat animalistic, were also quite intelligent and organized in how they approached moving as a group, a good portion of them able to move through Ryu's sword strikes somewhat while trying to impale him with blade-like tendrils, while another group of them tried to stop Kentoria from getting to Elis, still giving Charlotte some room to jump in and help while Elis's focus nearly broke, Rex's tornados and Ryu's boosts making the onslaught much easier to take on, but with their absurd organization and skill, it was hard to hit the ones with wings which focused on speed and maneuverability, said flying beats shifting their attention from Elis, Phares, and Timcanpy and now going to try and take out the main offense, a few slamming into Charlotte which would without a doubt break her arms and a few ribs if they made direct contact.
 
"Hrmmm, they become smarter!" Says Ryu as he unleash his fifth swords and summon more swords.

"Timcanpy! Use that sword!" Shout Drake as he sent his duplication sword to Timcanpy.

this is very annoying now, I should take a chance to use "that" but I believe we can overcome this but just in case I prepare it thought Ryu as he hold om to his trump card.
 
Charlotte looked at the incoming beasts that were targeting her. Immediately, she began to analyze them, deducing their maximum range and the angle of their attacks as she just barely managed to avoid the wing attacks from the calamities, quickly retreating as she slashed at the creatures, timing her sword swings with their attacks so that she stabbed into them while they were moving towards her, causing the sword to penetrate deeper.

"...shit..." Charlotte muttered, clearly getting overwhelmed.

Ryu realise Charlotte's situation and sent more swords to her.

I have summon about 30 of them, if I summon more it will tax my stamina even further, let's hope there won't be any trouble thought Ryu.
 
Kentoria took a slash that went through her armor and cut into her arm to have a good chance at taking out the group of calamities trying to cut her off from Elis, striking them down in quick order with her Elemental abilities enhanced along with her own physical attributes, but was nearly overwhelmed by it as she made a mad dash to step directly in front of Elis, raining spheres of Slashes down onto a ton of calamities at once, not seeming bothered by the wet blood pouring from her wound and onto the ground
 
several chains were drawn to bind the flying beasts, burned they with a very intense heat strong enough to reduce someone to ashes

Rex's arm scars were more noticeable than ever, a tsunami of spikes of thread was released from the sky against the calamities splitting the beats in half by the impact
 
Seeing the calamities change target Phares began to fly after them saying, “Don’t ignore me!” As he rained down more of his thorn like projectiles down on top of them.
 
"Well well, looks like i'm far from untouchable huh." Says Ryu as there's small wounds all around his body but he keeps fighting even if it worsen his wounds.
 
Timcanpy grabbed the sword along with the one she already had.

"J-JuuUuuST!- GO!" Elis shouted to Timcanpy.

"As you wish, master. Initiating combat sequence. Battle, start." Timcanpy jumped down to try and aid the rest of the offensive line, the numbers of the army of demons thinning slowly, but surely.

"8888- M-MmM-Minutes!!!" Elis shouted once more, blood pouring from both her nostrils.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, rate your injures." Timcanpy said as she covered Charlotte and Ryu as best she could, the flying creature's attention turning to Phares as he got their attention, continuing to try and latch onto him as the creatures that were climbing up the wall along with various flying creatures with multiple wings which were akin to tendrils tried to get to Rex and Kentoria.
 
"It's at least 4, but you can go treat the other first! Thanks for the consideration!" Saya Ryu as he keeps on fighting the calamities with wounds all over his body slowly getting bigger.
 
"Hang in there Elis! I've got you!" Kentoria said loudly, the calamities approaching them being cut down easily now, no, all the time fighting has sharpened Kentoria to new heights, where she struggled before she could do rather easily now, trying to get rid of all calamities within a 96 meter Radius of herself, which seemed to be the limit her abilities could reach
 
Charlotte raised the sword she was carrying up to her mouth, before biting into it, leaving both of her hands free as she proceeded to go on the offensive against the calamities.

"I'll live..." Charlotte said, her voice muffled by the sword as she launched a vicious series of blows towards the calamities, slamming her fists and feet into them as she fought them back. Seeing one approach from her left, she quickly twirled around, the edge of the sword cutting into them as she expertly predicted its maximum range, using that data to deduce how to best attack with it in her mouth. She began slowly making her way towards Elis, aiding Kentoria in demolishing the surrounding calamities.
 
"Heh, sword sorcerers grew from battlefield fools!" Says Ryu as he keep getting stronger and sharper the longer he keeps on fighting.

"Come, calamities! Don't underestimate the last sword sorcerer!" Shouts Ryu as he unleashes his sixth swords and amplify his stats even further.
 
“That’s right keep your eyes on me.” Phares said as he regained the flying Calamities attention. He bombarded them with attacks while doing his best to dodge their assaults with his high speed and draw them away from the others. Man I‘m really not cut out for this kind of thing. I’m just a goddamn thief, not a warrior. He thought to himself dodged another close call.
 
It was sudden, but for a moment, Elis could feel something invisible try and go for her neck, doing her best not to break focus while also beckoning for somebody to come help her, the sorcery prodigy moments away from losing her head.
 
Kentoria slashed in a perfect area around Elis, putting herself in-between whatever was trying to kill Elis and the magical prodigy herself

Charlotte teleported close to Elis, standing on the opposite side of Kintoria, seeking to aid her in protecting the prodigy. She clenched her fist, before launching a vicious blow towards an approaching calamity, perfectly calculating the angle of her punch to maximize her damage.
 
Rex summoned another wave of spears this time each one exploding upon hitting a calamity, the fire tornado multiplied, Rex's cloak flew against the wind, his eyes lost in an old battle and small pieces of metal pierced his skin.

Whatever tried to slash at Elis had revealed itself from the shadows, its eyes pitch black and its form weirdly humanoid as it wore extremely heavy armor with a large grotesque scythe on its back, the appearance of such a thing on the battlefield seeming to rile up the other calamities, making them stronger. Could it have been the commander of the army?

"New enemy detected-" Timcanpy was immediately alerted of the presence of this new enemy.

"Enemy commander over here!" Kentoria shouted out as she rained Elemental Slashes on them from a decent distance without so much as blinking as she also made sure Elis stayed safe
