The Knight immediately raised her shield and sword, ready to strike Goliath at a moment's notice before Palaria pushed Goliath back with telekinesis and stood between them, both arms out

"Enough!" Palaria called out, Terevion peering down the hole mistrustfully

"You were obviously Deceived here. Just... come wit us and I'll smooth things over, if your pride as a Knight won't let you go without doing an apology and genuinely helping then we'll figure that put later..." Palaria said in an exasperated tone

"... okay..." the knight responded as Palaria dropped the telekinesis on her, to which she bowed deep enough to where her blonde hair nearly touched the ground

"Mondongo" Said both Alex and Mark while watching all this happen

Dhei had his claws and fangs become more visible then normal from his hands and mouth, glaring at her with a hostile look

"Knight....one of the royals favorite pets..."

Goliath grunted, shaking his head as he turned away. Not really caring anymore if the knight wouldn't attack again.

"....damn knights..." He muttered. He stretched his arms slightly, having already been sore from his fight with Tower Knight.

Cain smiled at the knight, "Don't mind my friends... My name is Cain. What's your name, Ms. Knight?"

The knight was suddenly lifted up along with Goliath, Cain, and Dhei by Palaria's telekinesis, all being brought out of the hole, Terevion and Magnus both raising eyebrows as they glanced at the crest on her chestplate, but said nothing

"I uh, I'm Claria." Claria said, clearly socially awkward

Cain lifted her hand up, clearly wanting to shake Claria's hand. "Nice to meet you, Claria!" She immediately sensed Dhei's and Goliath's discord towards her for being a knight, so she had to establish positive relations quickly.

"Alex, the idiot who is with the girl who just took you out is My brother, Mark" Alex said introducing herself to the Claria with respect for her, not for his brother.

Claria took Cain's hand in a handshake, beginning to travel with the rest of the group

Said Dhei ironically to Palaria burst of anger, then walked nearby Cain, he wanted to spend more time around her, as he lately didnt do so

Mark simply put his hand on his face and then tried to calm Palaria down.

"I just can't stand her..." Palaria murmured, shaking herself before beginning to walk to the city, Claria nodding in response to Enzio

"Palaria, we all know she's a bitch, but at least try and establish positive relations... At least for the sake of the team..." Cain said to Palaria, letting out a final sigh.

"I don't want any conflicts about this, so try and keep it down in the future, alright...?"

Palaria sighed out, she knew Cain was right, but Alex was one of the exact kinds of people she hated, but she was more surprised about Cain speaking clearly to her

"Right... right..." Palaria murmured, her voice full of surprise about something

"Oh! I am, I guess. After we "defeated" the Tower Knight, my body changed, and stuff... My hands got smaller, and I can do a bunch of crazy stuff now!" Cain said, that previous fleshy tentacle she made wagging back and forth like a tail.

"Like what Mark? I can't stand her personality, and the rest we're like night and day essentially." Palaria said, her mood immediately dipping again

"Oh! I am, I guess. After we "defeated" the Tower Knight, my body changed, and stuff... My hands got smaller, and I can do a bunch of crazy stuff now!" Cain said, that previous fleshy tentacle she made wagging back and forth like a tail.

Cain rubbed her chin a bit, "I'd suggest trying to confront her about it instead of being so aggressive. It's no use in trying to just occasionally insult each other and develop a rocky relationship. I think it'd be best if you two tried to have a reasonable discussion about your differences and try to reconcile your differences in a mature and healthy manner!" Cain said, smiling brightly at Palaria... Which was weird for her, but she had clearly changed.

"Oh yes, like Alex of all people is the person to do that...!" Palaria said with a stressed chuckle

Mark tried not to think about the way Cain altered his body, otherwise he congratulated Cain.


"Hmm, why don't you try to practice magic with her? Cast a spell or two" Mark said with a smile.

"Oh yes, like Alex of all people is the person to do that...!" Palaria said with a stressed chuckle

"We can force her down if she retaliates. If that doesn't work then she was a complete lost cause to begin with, a liability, and a target for elimination..." Cain said coldly, her eyes going slightly bloodshot.

"Though, I hope it doesn't come to that! I like Mark, and I wouldn't want to harm his sister." Cain said, now smiling once more.

"I would really be furious if something happened to her" said Mark, he was sure that if Alex or Palaria, his fury would transform him into his other self

Palaria covered her mouth with her hand and began coughing a bit, a little blood on her lips as she pulled her hand back to her side

"Practicing Magic is like a really enjoyable hobby to me, why would I want to do that with someone I just don't have a high opinion of...?" Palaria asked, not even realizing she coughed up some blood, but smiled as she had some memories of past sessions

"Practicing Magic is like a really enjoyable hobby to me, why would I want to do that with someone I just don't have a high opinion of...?" Palaria asked, not even realizing she coughed up some blood, but smiled as she had some memories of past sessions

"You practice your hobbies with people you dislike in order to get to know them better, Palaria. Even if you don't like her, you'll surely bond, and you'll surely at least grow to tolerate her." Cain said, immediately noticing the blood and shuffling closer to Palaria to the point their shoulders touched.

Mark was alarmed at the blood Palaria was coughing.

"Wh-whats wrong?" Palaria asked, looking a little scared due to Mark's alarm and Cain's clinging

"Blood. Your coughing it, Palaria." Cain noted, continuing to stick close to her as they walked.

"You just released blood from your mouth and don't realize it?" Mark says surprised

"I didn't...!" Palaria said, now alarmed as well, wiping her mouth with the side of her hand and seeing the blood, looking scared

"Don't worry, Palaria. Mark, carry her. I'll establish a perimeter..." Cain ordered, wiping the blood away, clearly on guard for anything that could hurt Palaria while she was like this.

Mark grabbed Palaria as if he would never let anyone touch her.

"Let's get back to the city, I'm not stopping...!" Palaria said, wriggling in Mark's arms as Claria waited for them, sensing something was wrong and was on high alert

"We'll be at our destination in about 40 minutes..." Claria reported

"Palaria, remain still and rest in your lover's arms..." Cain said firmly, sensing something was wrong as well, her tentacle/tail ceasing its wagging.

"I don't want you to get hurt, Palaria... Your already coughing blood..."
