RP • A Country Divided Thread

Goliath pushed his size magic to its limit, growing to several times his previous height as he began to launch a powerful barrage of punches towards Tower Knight's torso. He gestured towards Cain' hoping they could attack at the same time like she suggested ealier.
 
Cain nodded as well, creating a large pair of daggers which she used to attack the same spot as Goliath with all of her might in rapid succession, hoping to drive it back with his help. "Come...! On...!!"
 
"Just... go... argh..." Palaria squeaked with pain, trying to ease her own pain with magic however as she lay there

The Tower Knight was pushed back, trying to impale Golaith with his spear while also shield bashing him, dents appearing on his armor as Terevion sniped the Tower Knight's chest, fully piercing through, while Alex dealt some moderate damage with her attacks
 
Goliath raised his arm, hardening it with his muscle control and reinforcing it with his Iron Body skill. Immediately, he would slam the arm against the side of the spear, hoping to knock it off course slightly as he took several steps back due to the shield bash.

Should he be successful, he would immediately launch a vicious kick towards Tower Knight's legs.

The healing did help with Palaria's pain, though when picked up like a princess she immediately began squirming, while she was ridding herself of pain she clearly didn't much like being carried like a princess by someone who wasn't Mark right now
 
Cain focused on dealing damage to the thing's torso while Goliath focused on the legs, slowly covering its chest in blows before grabbing onto the thing and launching herself up to begin striking its helmet in an attempt to obscure the thing's vision, hoping to allow Goliath and the others to continue attacking it.
 
(Zerg for last hit!)

The Tower Knight stumbled back from the assault, something in his forehead beginning to glow with demonic energies, clearly staggered by the onslaught of magic, bullets, fists, and knives

Palaria began trembling with pain as the energies shot up, visibly wincing
 
"It probably hurts a lot, but try to put up with it, for a little longer"

Tells her thinking she squirmed cuz of the pain from using the shard earlier, while they were outside, he saw the Tower Knight was starting to get more damaged now, so he gives Mark, once he caught up with Dhei, Palaria to him to carry her as he did

"She is yours, like its suppose to be"

Afterwards he summons loads of chains, precisely 45 in each hand, in total being a number of 90 of them and he swings them all out, extending them at maximum range to wrap all around the neck, then fires them to a white hot temperature, to severely burn his skin and flesh and suffocate him from the ammount of chains tightening around the neck by force

Palaria visibly calmed down as Mark spoke, half-closing her eyes as sudden waves of black lapping at the edges of her vision threatened to have her pass out, but she fought to stay awake, clearly wanting to enjoy being in Mark's arms while it lasted, even through the agony that she was in

Cain ignored the demonic energy, simply continuing to deliver blow after blow to the thing. "Go... down! Down! Down! Down!" Cain shouted with all her might, summoning The First Blade, desperately stabbing at it with newfound force to get it to go down, her arms beginning to bulge with veins and her eyes going bloodshot, clearly putting in a considerable amount of effort into continuing her onslaught of deadly blows.
 
The Tower Knight began doing just that, falling down under the onslaught, pulling Dhei towards it as it fell, Magnus trying to keep it down with his magic while Terevion shot at the legs, the demonic energy getting more powerful, causing an unprepared Palaria to yell out in pain
 
Goliath repeatedly slammed his fist into the knight, letting out a guttural roar as he viciously bombarded the thing. Recklessly throwing his entire body into each blow as he tried to pound it into dust. The presence of demonic energy, and Palaria subsequent scream, only spurred him to continue attacking, wanting to rend whatever vile creature this was from the world.

Cain's anger would only rise as she heard Palaria's shout, clearly in a completely enraged state as the power of her strikes continued to increase, but without any of her usual grace or precision, simply slamming her blade into the thing's head relentlessly and without slowing down. She hated it for making Palaria like this, and she wanted it to be erased from the world.

(Yes, Cain is now enraged lol.)
 
The fury and death and tearing that came from the assault caused a shattering sound, the glow and demonic energy vanished, in fact, it seemed like Cain's wish for the tower knight to fade came true, with only the spear and shield, now normal-sized, remaining.

Palaria's pain stabilizing and fading with hers and Mark's efforts before she opened her eyes again, Terevion jumping down from his vantage point and Magnus walking up to the group just as Palaria began floating into the air unwillingly, the purple lighting hitting the entire group and empowering them as it did before

"That was excellent Teamplay, so let's travel back to the city..."

Act 3: The Raging Blizzard​

(Stat limits are now 8-B, Mach 10(Hypersonic+), and Class 10!)

Palaria floated back down to mark willingly, breathing heavily as she purged herself of pain and looked up sheepishly at him
 
Cain fell to the ground on her knees, "I... I feel strange..." She said, coughing a bit.

"I feel powerful... Powerful... B-But... Strange, also..."
 
Alex just walked bo felt very different, strong yes, but not that much.

Mark was just worrying, if this is how Palaria are with only the shards, he imagined how bad the full ring could be, he would need to discuss it with someone who knows a lot about it in private
 
Palaria breathed out, noticing Cain falling to the ground and coughing, immediately teleporting to her side and speaking

"[Physical Overview]" it was a spell that gave Palaria the information on Cain's Physical state, her worry for her friend clear

Physically, Cain was fine, well, as fine as she could be, as her physiology was obviously inhuman. She just seemed to be getting used to her new dialect and her new abilities, her hands becoming significantly smaller for a time, but still laced with razor-sharp claws and darkness.

"Th-Thank you... Palaria... Are you okay...?" She said, still coughing up some black liquid, presumably to clear her throat.
 
"I just don't know Cain, I feel fine, but I don't know if I'm actually fine. You can never know with stuff like this." Palaria responded, sighing in relief with a smile as she stood up, reaching out a hand to help Cain to her feet
 
Cain gently grabbed Palaria's hand, smiling as she tried not to bonk the woman with her halo, backing away a bit. "All...right... Just... let me know if you... n-n...need anything. Okay?"
 
"Okay!" Palaria said, looking over the group

Upon the defeat of their enemy Dhei went back in human form and reunited with the group, upon the purple lightning hit him, he would fall on his side and hold his face and breathed heavily for air repeatedly, some physical change was occuring to him it seems

When it was over, he got in a sitting position, feeling a bit dizzy, then before getting slowly up, the most obvious change the group would notice from him is that he grew taller then before now, more precisely 10 cm taller, now standing up in human at a height of 1.75 meters, when he would go in his full werewolf form, he would be taller in that form as well by the same measurements, which will make him stand over 2 meters tall by just a little, all this was thanks to his genetics kicking in from the power increase he received

"The perspective seems....quite different now...."

Pointed out unaware of his change yet

Goliath staggered, strange energy coursing into his veins as he felt as if every cell in his body was being imbued and imprinted with magical energy. He slumped onto his knees, breathing heavily for a few moments, before slowly standing to his feet.

"....Strange...." Goliath muttered, flexing his muscles slightly. He could tell he had gotten stronger, but that wasn't the only thing. It felt like his body had become much more aligned with his magical abilities than ever before, much to his confusion.

He glanced over at Dhei, raising an eyebrow as he saw that the man had grown slightly.

"...Dhei....got...bigger." He muttered.
