"Alex, read the mood. Palaria is a normal human, and she requires her soul to stay alive, unlike us." Cain said, growling at Alex before letting out a sigh.

"Sorry, I guess I got carried away." Alex said, although well, she acts like this after losing her soul and almost dying, grateful to her father for teaching her to survive without a soul

"how far are we from the city?" Mark Ask

"Us? Is there anyone else that could live without it? And easy Cain, no need to growl at somebody"

Said to her ironically, as he does often to many, then spoke to Palaria as he turned his head

"You trust everybody in here right? Not sure if in me you do as much as them, but so far, there wasnt something not to be solved at the end of the day, you know what each and everyone of us are capable, you will not die as long as you have friends with you to protect your life, i know i wont let you die, you are....well....my first...best...friend..."

Says these parts on a very low tone almost hard to hear by some of the groups, he found it hard to express new emotions like that, since he never had real friends before

"I'm referring to myself and Alex, Dhei. I'm aware the rest of you require a soul to survive, but, my soul is mostly in tatters, so it's complete destruction wouldn't do much to me..." Cain said, simply smiling at Dhei's care for Palaria.

"30 minutes." Claria said instantly

"I don't know what to do! I'm really stressed about this..." Palaria murmured, almost to herself, as she read her own tone and realized she was getting aggressive

"Didnt knew that, but then again, i dont know much about your past, better put, i dont know much of anybody past from here actually

It must have been really rough for you to become like that at the start"
"30 minutes." Claria said instantly

"I don't know what to do! I'm really stressed about this..." Palaria murmured, almost to herself, as she read her own tone and realized she was getting aggressive
"Palaria...its been a tough day, you gotta rest, dont let it get over you, remember you told me the same about my hate and anger, im still not over it myself though, but you can pull through, you cant let me down or the others you knew for longer"

"It's so stressful..." Palaria murmured, going partially limp on Mark's shoulders as she spoke

Claria seemed to have no clue what to say or do here besides stand guard

"Shield is the answer to that..."

Answered Dhei to the riddle girl since nobody else guessed it from the group

"I heard it a few times from other knights when i was little"
"Yeah, I used that one because the new girl... Claria... looks like a knight," Para said, smiling at Dhei, "Hmm, maybe I should try another one."

"Was just asking if you had any, was curious if humans bothered to make some to begin with"

Clarifies to Para
"Never thought about making riddles for those, but I could definitely come up with some!" Para said, "Though the Mind of Morgana may have some already..."

"And no problem, Palaria! I can come up with riddles any time!"

"Th-thanks...!"

Palaria seemed enthused by the history book, but was clearly still scared even as she began reading it carefully

(Anyone want to do more in this scene or shall we move on?)

"Of course I am, this should be good." Sigmar said, pausing at an area that only had one exit

"So, what's wrong?" Sigmar asked first and foremost

"Well, we wait for you to help us with some inconvenience, apparently the life of our dear friend Palaria is tied to some fragments and if someone extracts them from her, let's say that it won't be the only thing that left her body" said Alex to Sigmar asking for help.

"What Mark said. We defeated the Tower Knight per your request, but Palaria's life is now at risk more than ever before." Cain said, crossing her arms as she simply looked down slightly before going back to constantly monitoring the area.

Goliath nodded silently. His muscles tensed slightly as he stared at Sigmar, his usual glare disappearing.

"....Can...you help....her...?" He muttered. His voice displayed barely noticeable concern, though he tried to hide it, attempting to maintain the same, monotonous tone of voice he usually adopted.

"Unfortunately, no. That is something beyond what I or anyone else I know can do, only thing we can do is make sure that doesn't happen, and I believe someone is dying to make up for something..." Sigmar said, turning to Claria who was shuffling

"Claria Fireheart, you will accompany them on their journey!" Sigmar ordered, Claria looking shocked at her lord

"M-me?!" Claria exclaimed

"You need to be more social, being a part of this group will allow you to work with them, plus Goliath and Dhei have a bad perception of knights, due to having some choice experiences with Nobles." Sigmar responded

"Oh... I'll do my best, sir!" Claria said, saluting

"You don't have to be formal with me Claria, we're fighters, warriors, and we are a Bastion." Sigmar responded before turning to Palaria

"Palaria, earlier, after you all left, I was met with an individual who was trying to track you, didn't seem like a bad person, wore black and white mostly, had white hair too, but he wasn't the best individual and had a lot of street smarts." Sigmar informed Palaria, who seemed surprised then made sense of it

"I think I know who that is and... yeah, we know eachother. Did he give you a name?" Palaria asked, having put her fear to the side for the time being

Cain remained silent, mentally questioning the identity of the man who wanted to track Palaria, now sticking closer to her. "...Who is this man you speak of?"
