RP • A Country Divided Thread

Cain went over to Dhei, "Dhei... You look different...!" She said with a smile, turning to Goliath as well to see if he was alright. It was strange, honestly. It felt as though she had absolute control over every cell in her body, as though she was still her, but she could be... different now.

"Goliath feels different as well! I can definitely sense the power...!" She said.

He looked at his body better, then briefly transforms to his full werewolf form as well, they would notice his size in that form is bigger as well, before changing back as he took a better look to it too

"My looks changed too?!"

Says as he was curious if his face for example looked any different then before as well, touching his face with his hands to try figure it out, he would also point to Cain a change he noticed for her

"Cain...your way of speaking...has improved, you are talking better then before now"

"Am I?" Cain said, tilting her head as she scratched her cheek with her noticeably smaller hands.

"I don't really see a difference, Dhei. And yeah, you look a lot taller than before...! Well, not a lot taller, but the difference is definitely noticeable!" She said with a smile.

He was disappointed his facial features didnt change, he was hoping to get rid of some things he had on his face due to his werewolf side

Cain would cross her arms, "Thank... you?" She said, confused. Was that a compliment? "I think that means he thinks I look nice... I remember what cute means, right...? That's..."

She blushed a deep purple, turning away a bit.
 
"She becomes so cute as time goes....meanwhile...."

He would check his sharp fangs, which were still present there, likely his wolf like eyes as well, while saying all that in his mind along the following

"I still look ugly and unappealing as always"
 
"Huh. That's weird," Epithymia said, "He really is taller. And you're not speaking in the third person anymore, Cain..."

"Very odd...." Para said, "Did anyone else change at all?"

The temperature around the party would begin to increase, becoming far warmer than it was when they went to fight the Tower Knight.

"I feel normal..." Kaminos said, walking toward the rest of the party, causing the heat around the party to increase more as he looked toward them. He gave a "seems legit" type of expression to the rest of the party, "Huh. *Nnuut."

Unbeknownst to Kaminos, and probably easily detectable by the rest of the group even from the temperature increase, Kaminos was literally on fire. His otherwise green skin had a glowing red hue to it, indicating the heat in his body.

"Who's gonna tell him?" Epithymia asked after clearing her throat, referring to the flaming Elf-Orc hybrid.
 
Kaminos raised his right arm, looking at it to see it was, in fact, on fire, and had a glowing red hue to it as well.

"That's new..." Kaminos said, "I think I may have used more heat than normal. A lot more... *Elujournn hahuvmu mmurrcheh, this is a lot more heat than I normally let out!"

He looked up at Goliath.

"No, it doesn't hurt. Probably gonna take more effort to force my body to cool down, though..." He said.

"Comprime iram, fiat furor glacies..." Para said, surrounding Kaminos in ice to try and cool his body down. Unfortunately, it still looked like he was glowing and flaming even after the ice began to swiftly melt.

*Elujournn hahuvmu mmurrcheh - meaning "Legiōn have mercy".

"All right, just, try not to burn the city down, so let's get back there!" Palaria called out, Terevion nodding

"Sounds like a plan."

Meanwhile...

"Ugh, I can't shake the feeling I'm being gullible about this...!" A Blonde-haired knight thought to herself as she sat under the snow
 
"Hold on, let me try..." Kaminos said, walking and exhaling for several seconds, slowly cooling down. After about a minute or so, he cooled himself to regular temperatures, "It hasn't taken me that long to cool down since I first made Klauthmos!"

"Good for you!" Para said, wiping away sweat on her forehead from being close to the heat he had. Generating a small amount of water, she opens an empty canteen and fills it before taking a sip of water to stay hydrated. Epithymia, now not in her armor, walks beside Dhei.

"Well then, I guess we need to get on your little gift when we get back, don't we?" Epithymia whispered to Dhei.

Asked Dhei in a whisper too, wondering if something like a kiss on the cheek or anything on that level was something true when gifting a girl something
 
"You think....Cain...is....that type?"

Continued whispering, he was surprisingly more open and direct now about his love to Cain, especially with Epithymia, he wasnt denying it with her like he used to
 
"I'm just hoping for a good shower" Alex said to herself as she walk into the address in which the city is located


Mark was next to Palaria still thoughtful and distracted

Responded as he pulled his hood back on his head to cover himself now, sighing as he walked with the group on their way

After entering in, Dhei was staring around at the humans doing their things, though he would spot something catching his eyes, he sees a little boy running at his mother and hugh her tight with a smile and laughing happily

Dhei just stood there staring at the view, not saying a word, when looking at his right hand though, his nails would grow longer and sharper then normally are, the group may think he had the intention to jump and attack them most likely

Cain followed as well silently, moving her arm around a bit. "Maybe..." Suddenly, the iron in her blood or whatever was left of the iron in her blood, expanded and changed, metal blades that were akin to scythes erupting from her arm.

"Ooooo..." Cain said, enamored by the blades, smiling as she walked.
 
"I extended the iron in my blood and formed it into blades!" Cain said as she turned to Goliath, the blades shooting back into her arm as the wounds they created on her healed.

"I can do this too!" Cain said, a red flesh-like tentacle/tail sprouting from her tailbone, "I can solidify my blood, too!"
 
Just as Goliath spoke the snow he was stepping on gave way, a flash of knightly armor dashing towards Goliath for a shield bash that almost seemed half-assed, like the one delivering it wasn't at all sure if Goliath was friend or foe

Palaria was immediately on it, Teleporting above the hole and flying down into it
 
"????" Goliath grunted in surprise and annoyance, unable to hear Cain's reply. Holding out his hands, he activated his skill Iron Body, blocking the shield bash as it slammed into him.

"...Why...?" Goliath muttered, more surprised than injured from the strange assailant.
 
"Damnit... it was wrong..." a female voice muttered, but still held weapons as Palaria used her telekinesis to pin the knight to the wall

"Wh-whoah...!"
 
Cain walked up to the knight as she followed them, clearly realizing the knight's confusion. "Who are you...?" She asked, keeping her own violent intent under control.
