Miles literally just conceded all his points to Weekly because he's afraid he's going to be banned just because Weekly said so. Is there some kind of admin permission that makes that acceptable in some way?
I'd wager there was some irony in there, but that is what I am asking.

I'm giving a chance to weekly to explain it.

It's pseudo-flight according to the Flight page, and we'll consider as such. She can stay midair through successive blasts then that's completely valid as a flight, I don't know how when and why would that be considered Acrobatics.

Right, can we just drop the whole Weekly is reporting people because he is a coloured name.

Weekly reports people when he sees fit. We've been though this countless times before and I'm getting tired of seeing this argument over and over again.

Yes. Which is why I asked why he wants to report them.

Colored or not, threatening with reporting for no reason is not acceptable. I am not accusing him, since I've went out of my way to assume that I just forgot about a rule or something.

However, if it's for no reason, a moderator threatening to report is a lot worse then your random user doing so.

I agree ovens, but I need to know what I'm being reported for. That way I can decide whether or not to continue arguing my points or concede to avoid a moderation action.

@Miles

"its gotten to the point where he's legitimately saying that i shouldnt be listened to unless i ask the people who work on RWBY if Yang lacks the ability to fly" -Weekly

That was his reasoning on discord, if that is any help

It's somewhat helpful, but I'd rather have him explain his own actions first. I won't make a proper response until this happens, but thanks for trying to help.

I still have to agree with Weekly. The opposition still haven't proved solid proof that she can fly. At best, she can move in the air like Sanji (from One piece) jumping on the air.

At Best.

Bouncing off solid objects is now considered flight?

I never knew. Time start massive upgrades on all my favorite verses!!

Smh no, that's not at all what we said.

We were arguing quite the opposite, as Yang had been flying in the air since Vol. 1.

Pfft. She was bouncing off solid objects (slow decent into the trees only to boost herself higher off of them) and was catapulted. If that is now considered flight, I'm starting to go with my upgrades.

cut the shit, being sarcastic won't help anything.

how you achieve the thing does not define what the thing is. looks like flight, smells like flight, acts like flight, might just be that we could call it flight.

I'm gonna agree with the fact that she can bounce of air. Although I will need to do some top tier mental gymnastics to actually call it flight.

But yeah, if it needs to be called that way, then okay.

It's pseudo-flight. You know, like teleporting mid-air or double jumping... more than twice.

I completely agree. If this can pass off as flight, I am massively upgrading verses.

The shot immediately after the picture I posted is Yang several feet above every single tree near her. This is her shooting herself downwards. To bounce off the trees and land.

The momentum of the catapult is gone after her first shot. That's why she went further than anyone else. She took the initial speed given, then got rid of it wit all her fancy spins and twirls mid air.

If Yang is using her gauntlets to bounce off of trees, how are the trees not on fire or broken. Ruby cut a tree in half casually but Yang can't even break them? Yikes.

VsBattleWiki Acrobatics page.

Mid-Air Jump: Acting like they stand on a solid surface, the users are capable of performing additional jumps in the middle of the air. Some users can even obtain Pseudo-flight by jumping in mid-air indefinitely.

that's not what happened. she isn't jumping in mid-air indefinitely, she projects herself forward considerably with a single "jump". nor do jumps tend to be straight forward.

I don't see why this is such a big deal, if I'm honest. it's flight of all things. for some RWBY character. why does it matter what we classify it as when functionally it will do the same thing?
