Nicholas begins analyzing the nanites from a distance, he sends out some of his own nanites, appearing instead as a light blue mass, to counteract them.
Well it seems the Moon is being eaten by yellowish-gray nanites, but aside from that, no. He replies to Kyouka while continuing work on constructing the devices.

The nanites stay on the surface of the mass for a short moment before seemingly being absorbed, with the mass seemingly continuing on like normal. Almost immediately afterwards, however, a somewhat meek voice resounds from within Nicholas' mind.

Real Nicholas continues working on the machines, having easily completed the algorithm for locating the distortions, he begins preparing machinery to stop them.
In a lab somewhere else in space, another Nicholas sighs, observing something on a screen.

I try to use the telepathic powers from the Crimson Death to contact Nicholas, since I have nothing better to do. Also the moon partially disappeared and everyone can feel that shift in gravity, or at least you can with superior senses across the world I guess..

So be it. Oh and, don't mind the bird, she's always been like this. Nicholas responds to the being before cutting off the communication and returning to the Garden, noting his observations about its nature, the Moon has been almost completely repaired by now thanks to the machines placed previously.
"It doesn't seem to be a cause for concern as of yet." Nicholas states, appearing near Andrew.
"I'll be going now, aside from the other issue I'm currently dealing with, there are a few improvements I need to add to finish adding to this place." He then states before disappearing to elsewhere in the Garden.

Many of population (about half) which held weapons (criminals, police, soldiers, etc) seem to have gained new weapons in a method which seemingly cannot be deduced and bypassed most forms of sensing. These weapons are made of a strange platinum colored metal which seems to have energies that are similar "blue" energy to the previous challengers. While it's difficult to deduce much about these weapons, it seems those who hold the weapons are also stronger than before.
