One Piece Chapter 1078: Escape Limit (Fan Translations)

Nah King was openly scared of his attacks even with the flame on.
If Lunarians were just outright invincible gods they wouldn't go extinct.
But then Zoro kinda hyped their durability up. So wouldn't he be using his max power after last chapters realization if he knew it could pierce through their max defense.

He's not doing allat when he can just wait for them to turn off the flames.

Don't worry bro, we're here for you.
Zoro only drew blood from King when his flame was off

That said, I think there is a significant stamina cost to keeping the flame on and eating attacks - otherwise, the Zoro v King fight doesn't make a lot of sense
Zoro called him out and said that he was blocking his attacks even though they supposedly did nothing to him.

True, but Zoro said there was no point in attacking him with his flames on.
Just pointing it out. However, that statement doesn't necessarily mean he cannot damage him with his flames up; it could just be a waste of effort with his currently dwindling stamina.

We never see Flame-on King take a KOH attack directly which as Zoro brings up would suggest it could harm him.

Considering Luffy's now used Gear 5th and Sanji has used Ifrit jambe Zoro might use KOH and give clarification on if his attacks in that state can truly harm Lunarians.

Technically he didn't use G5 on the Seraphim, Sanji is the only one going all out on the Seraphim so far.

Tbf, King was also running out of steam due to being badly damaged by Hao Infused Zoro.

While he did take the first KoH move rather well, I attribute that to his suit (which mind you was unharmed by a kick from the admiral level base Marco) taking most of the force.

zoro did say koh wont damage him and king being afraid can be looked at differently, but yeah we dont have concrete evidence

or theyre, just like king, dumb enough to put off flames knowing theyre opponent can crush them
srsly, mf got 2 huge slashes and still put off his flames
