Mel has great AOE with Darkness but it isn't a One-Shot move and IIRC he only used the Kingdom spanning one when he was bloodlusted, and used a far, far smaller one against Galand.

I mean, yes, Meli have much more AOE than what Raikou can do with her Mana Burst so that side is a big advantage for him but the initial distance is 10 meters so the fight basically begin with CQC.
