What's worse, some reviews like The New York Post one is spreading fake news. They said Phastos made the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, when the context of the movie is actually that he feels guilty about giving mankind the knowledge of science which led to the creation of atomic weapons.
I thought he was crying because a loved one died and he couldn’t stop it because of the celestials, like driug trying to step in and humanity(atleast that’s what I got from the trailers)
Yeah, I saw that, some fans are accusing the movie of being racist/homophobic because of it (not sure if this is a case of deliberate fake news or just a misunderstanding of the movie, considering how dumb all of this is, there's an equal chance for both cases)

Reminds me of the SW Sequels. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm part of those who don't like Episode 8, it's just a relatively good movie for me, not trash like many people say, and not all of them being whiny jerks, but certainly not a masterpiece, but at least the movie had really interesting ideas and was trying something different...unlike the absolute shit we got after that (not talking about Solo, that movie was just boring af, the other one)

Captain Marvel was pro-recruitment. And the only MCU movie to be pro-recruitment if I remember. It was basically marketed by US Air Force as Top Gun. There was a huge jump in women willing to join the Air Force after the movie
