MCU Phase 5 General Discussion Thread

the opinion is not once is it’s ever stated it was because the portal cut was to weak ap wise but that Thanos skin to tough which still counts as a hax resistance meaning head canon that it has ap

You can’t have almost invincible skin if a spatial portal can cut you

This also goes with the fact there are things Thanos can do that people who scale to him outright can’t meaning things that aren’t related to how strong he is
Then I guess someone should make a CRT to discuss the removal of this? Not feeling capable of doing it plus I'm relatively neutral on this aside from a sort of aesthetic point of view (adding this tier just make the profiles look a bit too heavy for my tastes) but if this is such a contentious point, then it must be made

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man casually throwing regular ass people hard enough to crack brick walls (The show isn't really MCU, so probably not the right thread, but it is on MCU wiki)

Isn't it supposed to be part of the MCU anyway?
It’s literally stated to be a variant timeline of the sacred timeline we see the civil war airport battle heck it was originally supposed to be a Tom origin story but was changed because they were to limited doing thst

They also couldn't pay Robert Downey Jr to appear and had to switch him with Norman Osborn.

This site accepts variant scaling right I wonder if we can apply variant scaling for any of his feats if he gets anything good

Giving the show a chance I have to say those first two episodes were actually really fun and left me wanting more. Even with how dumb that comment from Peter’s voice actor was the show still has countless other talented people all collaborating to make it and I’m happy it’s delivering so far.

I'd like to point out that Friendly Neighborhood Peter Parker was at one point MCU Peter, thus meaning he continues the tradition of MCU Peter being into girls with dark skin

why Cassandra Nova Profile still be userblog
A new debate arised, specifically about the Sling Ring tier (probably going to be removed for the verse as a whole) and while I did some edits on the blog, I'm not sure if it's completely okay so I was waiting before posting it (I mean, at worst, if everything else is okay, I guess I can post it while keeping the Sling Ring stuff and we can remove later, I just want to be sure the blog is good enough to be posted outside of this)

Also, how are we going to scale the feat since I kind of doubt destroying a fragment of Tiamut would be on the same tier as destroying a full Celestial
Depends we don’t know if tiamut is weaker when he got transmuted or if Adamantium is as strong as it it because it’s made from a celestial

Probably weaker considering it wasn't even fully born. Plus, I guess the Adamantium is going to be modified compared to Tiamut's body so it can be properly used and it'll just be a simple piece of the whole thing. A rock is technically a piece of a mountain but just because you are strong enough to crush a small rock from a giant mountain doesn't mean you are strong enough to crush Mount Olympus (or, if we go for a more fictional/god-like comparison, a fragment of a C'tan isn't the same as a full one)

This means nothing and doesn’t change its durability and what if s3 suggests even when it wasn’t born it still gave someone who absorbed its power the power to fight other celestials

depends we need to see in the movie how they actually obtain the Adamantium but as of right now we don’t know if it’s strong because it’s made from a celestial or if it got weaker when transmuted but what it was transmuted is still above every other metal

I literally thought that was the trailer and I definitely wasn't gonna watch that for an hour lol.

But after seeing the actual trailer, I'm super stocked

Funny because when I opened the video it was live and the video was making the 10 seconds countdown to the trailer.
