Heel-based wrestling champions with access to super moves (deathblows/Z-moves etc.) and a tiger-and-dragon underline, vast knowledge of the region around them, and a few loyal followers. (Let's see... no, I don't want to entertain Shulk vs Lightning with a response... nah, Elly's isn't complete yet... ugh... I wouldn't know KOS-MOS's MUs if I fell over them in the street...)

Ah, Jr. sounds like a fun one to do with this format.

(Con @ all: Where the bloody hell are we going to find Brianne Siddall at this time a night? (Seriously, she's the only VA I picture coming out of Jr's mouth)).

Now...

Vs Jeanne (Bayonetta)

Pros:

• Thematic Devil motif links, alongside ex-exile of a organised body of people (Jr. from Yuriev, and Jeanne from the Umbran Witches)
• Gunslinging has good animation potential (as shown by DioCard), as does Witch Time vs Red Dragon.
• "Hey, Kajiura? Ya like Jazz?"
• At least vaguely debatable. Just because U.R.T.V's anti-meta U-DO (the upper realm), doesn't mean that he's automatically wanked to that level of power. Testaments and Proto Omega's PTC being a potentially infinite speed feat exist for him, though.
• Jr has just the right kind of snark to bounce off Jeanne being flirtatious.
• I actually have familiarity with this one.

Cons:

• Knowing how the DBX was handled, models could be a problem (Trish risks an MU too similar, if you're curious).
• Would it be in character for Jeanne to flirt with a bioweapon?

Vs Bowser Jr. (Mario)

Pros:

• "Maturity despite their immaturity" is a good tagline.
• Both the sons of 'main dad villains'.
• Jr having an armoury is a good contrast to Jr gunslinging. E.S Asher could be bought in as part of the animation.
• OST could go literally anywhere.

Cons:

• Not much banter potential. Bowser Jr. I always picture with pre-made voice clips.
• Kind of a stomp if you choose to believe that Base (Gaignun) Jr. is higher than Multi-Solar System level through scaling to stuff that isn't U-DO (Testaments, Patriarch Sergius etc.).
• Sods law, Bowser Jr. is already booked. Bleugh.

Vs Rufus Shinra (FFVII)

Pros:

• "We chuck coins around" (Animation potential is pretty high for this reason)
• Both higher-ups in an conglomerate empire for a planet or universe (Kukai Foundation vs Shinra Electric Power Company, go figure)
• OST could be a mix of FFVII classics and Kajiura's best.

Cons:

- General unfamiliarity, both personally (I'm only like 30 mins into FFVII lol) and as far as scaling pages (Why does this man not have a page on VS wiki?).

Vs Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic):

Pros:

• Gerald Robotnik's experiment vs Dmitri Yuriev's experiment (thematics). Many edges and guns, too.
• Said use of firearms also makes for decent animation potential.
• Red Dragon vs Super Shadow? Yes please.
• Kajiura + Crush 40 rock works for the same reasons that Elly vs Blaze does.
• Also just as debatable (how far does Chaos Emerald scaling go? What does that mean for Base Jr. scaling, too?)

Cons:

• Banter hinges entirely on Shadow's supposed 'false perceptions' ('hurr dur Imma edgey', when he's supposedly deeper than that). He's not 'the devil' guys (neither is Jr, technically, but Sonic isn't into biblicality, so...).
• It's Shadow... we've been there three other times.

I also had Nozomi (SMTIVa) put down recently as a potential Jr. opponent, but the memory of playing that game is hazy in my head, so I'm going to lay off that for now.

In contrast to additions to my earlier comment, the most connection-wise this MU offers is that Dragon Ball and GG shares a bond of games with the same developer and they have a very similar art direction, animations and graphical accessments when you take some of them in comparison.

Well, Copen has a **** ton of matchups, so why not?

Pros to all:

• Gunvolt on Death Battle

Cons to all:

• Prevasion is hard to do well for a fight animation
• Copen isn't popular

Copen Kamizono vs Jebidiah Christoff

Pros:

• Decent animation potential
• Decent banter potential (Mainly based on Project Nexus)
• Madness Combat in Death Battle
• Good music potential

Cons:

• Jeb gets absolutely curbstomped even if you use the highest of reasonable high ends for him and ignore Copen's KE feat, albeit since neither character is super well known in versus this wouldn't be obvious
• Jeb meshes best with Gunvolt 1 Copen, but that dosn't really work since DB uses characters at their peaks, and having Copen win without even using his current default armor would be insulting to Madness fans
• Art styles kinda clash, though that's more an issue with Madness on the show in general than just this MU

Copen Kamizono vs Iron Man

Pros:

• Great banter potential, with a sort of Cable vs Booster Gold situation
• Pretty decent plot potential, espesially if it follows up Tony's 2 previous episodes
• An Iron Man matchup that isn't against a DC character
• Could let us see where they put Tony nowadays without stuff like the Godbuster...

Cons:

• ...Unless they use it anyways, in which case Copen gets godstomped. And even then if they just use the Manhattan rock feat Tony curbstomps anyways, and Tony would be lightspeed upscaling from Spider-Man. Also Model 42, his most recent armor that could easily be considered "Standard", is Semiherald tier. So Copen still ******* dies even by our stats.
• Pretty unnecessary use of a Marvel/DC character, since Copen has other MUs

Copen Kamizono vs Proto Man

Pros:

• Proto Man is cool
• My friend on Reddit likes this matchup so this would be nice for them
• Fantastic music potential
• The only good Mega Man vs Gunvolt matchup
• Decent dialogue and animation potential

Cons:

• Copen gets utterly destroyed. His usual hax even gets resisted by Proto.
• Is still a Mega Man vs Gunvolt matchup
• Connections are fairly basic compared to other Copen matchups

The Luminous Avenger iX vs The Doom Slayer

Pros:

• Absolutely amazing music potential
• With all of Doom Eternal and LAiX's movement, this could be a really fast-paced fight.

Cons:

• Was significantly more fair before Ancient Gods.
• Doom Slayer has more thematic matchups

Copen vs Archer

Pros:

• Most thematic of either one's matchups (Except maybe Hakumen for Archer, I don't know the connections for that one very well)
• Has great potential for both to use strategy in the animation
• Great music potential
• Both have wide arsenals, but not arsenals so wide that DB can't use everything and people end up disappointed
• Fate on Death Battle
• Extremely debatable

Cons:

• None.
• I'm not biased, you're biased.

I can see that as a pretty fun fight, though it's only really Kratos and Gorr I'm pretty sure, as I don't think Asura has the chops to beat either but I could be wrong. Gorr I THINK takes this, as he scales significantly above Old King Thor (Who stalemated Phoenix Force Wolverine, and Gorr beat the SHIT out of him twice, and Gorr as repeatedly shown himself to be competently high tier in every appearance he's made, only really being beaten once, with even the minions he's created providing a tough fight for a base Thor)

It's a pretty stupid argument. Dio is gonna end Alucard before he manages to stalemate him till then. Alucard is unlikely to use that sort of tactic. And Dio could just run before it even reaches.
