Death Battle Season Eight Discussion Thread (2) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Schrondinger Alucard is in an interesting place. Yes, it is canonically where he ends the series. But it is also Alucard without most of the powers he’s known for, in exchange for not being able to die and can teleport. And it’s hard to argue giving him both when the entire point of the ending is Schrondinger being incompatible with all of Alucards Souls.

Then composite him. They'll probably do the same with DIO. Why not give Ally his 3 million souls and Schrodinger's paradoxical ability?
 
Now onto their other notable abilities, starting again with Alucard:
  • Resistance to illusions
  • Hypnosis/Mind manip, twice
  • Phasing (though we've never seen him use it in combat, he probably can)
  • Can cover himself in enough mist to hide a ship
  • Can summon a massive number of stakes
  • Can turn into bats
  • Can control his own blood
  • Can summon shadows to move a boat at "a few knots" (for anyone thinking this is a good KE feat, it's sadly much lower than the explosion tanking ones he already has)
  • And of course, the ridiculous number of familiars he has, and being able to access all of their abilities.

Onto DIO's abilities (counting feats from Parts 1-3 and excluding blood drinking and Time Stop since they're a given), we have:
  • Hypnotism/Mind manip, twice
  • Even after being bisected by a Hamon amped sword, Dio can control his body to a degree where his veins can extend and rejoin lost limbs and later can choke Jonathan when he's literally just a head.
  • Can resurrect people that have been dead for centuries into his zombies. (Note as well that Tarkus and Bruford were traitors who were likely buried without a coffin or with anything preserving their corpses, meaning it's possible Dio can resurrect skeletons).
  • Biological manip to where he can splice two creatures into a chimera.
  • Has such control over body heat that he can even freeze and cover others in thick layers of ice that are so cold that they even turn their nearby surroundings into ice.
  • Space Ripper Stingy Eyes
  • Can see and interact with ghosts and supernatural beings, who also can't inherently see Stands in return, as a Stand user.
  • Stands are also intangible as demonstrated by Jotaro.
  • Has a passive fear-inducing aura
  • The World is as precise as Star Platinum
And for possible feats that could apply to DIO with The World:
  • Can possibly shrink his Stand to microscopic levels, specifically down to the size of blood cells.
  • Can possibly perform the same swallowing feat as Star Platinum

And while I couldn't fight scans for it, both have telepathy (Alucard has telepathically talked to Seras and Integra while DIO has telepathically talked to Pucci).

I have a feeling they would, considering their track record of giving some combatants addtional stuff to make it more of a fair fight.

With Schrodinger, he would be without any key advantages that could help. With the Schrodinger soul, Alucard has a good chance at countering The World if they decide to give it to him.

True. If they dis with previous combatants, they'll most likely do the same for Alucard.
 
Yeah, I guess I'm taking heel spot now, but it almost sounds like realistically Al should win?

And its simply because of war of attrition. Surviving via 3 million souls seems realistically too much for Dio. Oh for sure, he can waste a single soul no sweat, but killing 3 million souls takes a lot of time. It would take about 70+ kills per second if he wanted to do it in 12 hours.

Since I'm not too familiar I do admit if Dio really has the stamina or if he can vaporize/bypass killing all those souls, Dio could win, but dumb realistically it feels like Al should win.

Being able to move at MFTL speeds really helps DIO crunch that time.

Ryuko vs shadow, heihachi vs geese, lex vs doom (surprisingly), iron fist vs po and black Goku vs reverse flash were the most interesting and entertaining, so how to you none is good is beyond question

That's taking statement literally but considering how fastly DIO's stand started to grow after Joseph's blood and with consideration that Jotaro vs Dio basically in real time lasted for just 5 minutes...

Alucard gonna fuel Dio for the whole night with that blood, also he cant go through The World unless he somehow sees, interacts and outspeeds it, time stop is also gonna be tough for alucard to deal with

Literally Alucard best chance of a W is Level 0 yet than **** him over in the fight
Also Schrodinger but that boils done to DB giving it to him
