Goku and Frieza have Resistance to EE because they tanked Hakai attacks during the Tournament of Power Saga.
However, it's made clear in the series that Hakai attacks can be overpowered by regular Ki. By this same logic, we should give Resistance to Reality Warping to Nappa and Vegeta because...
lack of in Immunity's explanation refers to a character that does not have an aspect or is it just a "lack" of an aspect? So this explanation refers to a character that really doesn't have it or that character has an aspect but in a small amount, which one is correct?
If a character with accelerated development fails to learn from a character due to resistance in a fight, would he gain resistance to accelerated development?
Or would that be power nullification?
I was wondering, with Resistance, there should be types of resistance, such as:
Endurance where individuals have been visually afflicted by whatever they have been harmed by however still possess strength to power through it. (Hashladun Destiny 2) bathed in Fire, light, hydrogen, secrets...
Hello everyone, been a long while since I make a CRT. While this affect A LOT of characters in this franchise the logic is pretty simple.
According to the previous thread that I made. Almost every single Riders in the verse have the ability to cause their opponents to spontaneously explode...
So, I get that characters with strong willpower can resist the negative effects of absorbing shadows stolen by the Kage-Kage Fruit, but what I want to know is how exactly characters get picked to have those resistances. Because from what I've seen on the pages I've lookef at it seems to just be...
Is it possible to get immunity to conceptual manipulation in a similar fashion to immunity to soul manip.
To have immunity to soul manip the character has to lack a soul, in this case the character lacks the concept that makes up their very existence.
Is that enough to qualify?
Say you have Character A who resists a 3D ability with 999999999999999 layers of resistance. If Character B with the same ability on a tier 1 scale shows up, but he has no resistance negation or showings that he can overwhelm characters with resistances, would Character B be able to affect...
If there is char A that has an ability (let's say it has a 4D range) and B can resist its ability, then there is a C character who has an ability with a 12D range
Can B resist C's ability?
First question I have is, I keep hearing about Stands having "layered Intangibility," but I'm not entire sure why. Is it because they're non-corporeal and have Phasing, or is it something different I missed?
Second, how does King Crimson's Time Erasure interact with a generic Time Manip...
Right, the temperature of a lightning is five times higher than the surface of the sun. But how exactly can we scale this to a character?
Like, if a character is hit by a lightning for several seconds, but remains intact, can we say that the character's heat resistance is able to withstand...
This is a subject that has been talked quite a lot of times in the past and across several threads, and this thread is meant to end the debate once and for all, establishing our official take.
Basically, many characters have Resistance to Pain because of stamina and pain endurance feats, but...
So character a is fighting character b and character a decides to use their time slow that eventually stops time all together but character b resists time stop would they resist time slow?
I mean, since fear manip technically manipulates your mind into feeling fear. Also kinda asking if it gives you empath hax resistance since technically empath hax also kinda manipulates your mind into feeling a certain emotion.
So, during Royd's fight with Yamamoto, it was established that if he wasn't using Blut Vene he'd be reduced to ashes by Zanka no Tachi's heat.
(I have the scans but I don't know how to post them, if someone could teach me how to do it on mobile I'd appreciate it).
Either way, what I propose is...
Hey there!
As I mentioned in the title, Mario has been shown to resist the black paint from color splash, this black paint in specific has took and corrupt bowser, during the near end of color splash Mario was covered in the black paint that took over Bowser. I'd like to get inputs on this and...
So uh, I have a question.
Basically, in this situation, the author of this manga (it's self aware, the characters know that they're fictional apparently) goes into the fictional world he created.
However, he finds out that the characters seem to have forgotten about the past events of the...
Alright, this has been bugging me for some time. So the resistance negation page needs a bit of a rework. The page itself mentions how RN can essentially bypass natural resistances which is true, however what I believe it should have, is the fact that the specific types of resistances you negate...
Can the Resistance of a character be higher then the character’s actual tier? For example, If a character is Planet level in AP but can resist Mind Altering abilities from an Universal Being on a Universal Scale is that possible?
Most profiles list off the ability to willpower your way through immense pain to be "Pain Tolerance". But, should this really be listed as Resistance?
Pain Tolerance would be taking pain normally -- meaning it would still hurt like hell -- and finding the strength in your body and your mind to...
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Horseless_Headless_Horsemann
the headless horseman's social influencing boo causes people to go to panic.
however by wearing the saxton hale mask they are resistant/immune to it.
so can we say resistance to social influencing via optional equipment.
should...
Not sure if this is already answered, but anyway:
So let's say we have this character, he uses his own innate energy to seal up a space-time collapse as well as that energy being used to stabilize the weapon that causes the collapse, does this mean the character is qualified for resistance to...
If a character, regardless of their AP, survives (but still takes damage) from an elemental attack (like fire, heat, cold, electricity and so on) that would normally kill a common human, would it be enough to grant them a resistance, even if minor or limited?
This question came out because...
Ok so a dude “graduated from falling asleep” (Yes I’m serious)
So I wanna know if his explanation warrants immunity to sleep manipulation or if it’s just resistance.
What will be Discussed?
In ToG, the Arie swordmanship has a set of laws that are beyond the law of physics, as well as irregular being excempt of this, and they also have acausality because why not :p
Acausality
Section I
First some clarifications:
Red Witches Guide are able to see Fate which...
So, somehow my dumbass and the rest of the KR supporter managed to somehow forgot to added resistance of the Rider he supposed to gain all of his ability from.
So yeah. Pretty simple honestly.
So he would have Resistances from Kamen Rider Kuuga...
According to this page, the highest degree of resistance is immunity,so if a character can use hax to affect others who have hax immunity, can that character bypass all layers of hax resistance? For example we have a character A who can destroy soul of a being without a soul, can that character...
Sorry for having this thread suddenly posted in the staff forum of all places. Just to confirm, I was given permission by @Damage3245 to make this thread after speaking with him and some other staff members about the issue this thread will be addressing. Since it's a staff thread, I don't intend...
Scan 1
“Breaks through cause, effect and fate, the cry of life resounds in the galaxy yet, more.”
Scan 2
Nia speaks. "To be trapped in the cycle of cause and effect!” Yoko prays, "A thought left behind will open the door!”
Been replaying FE7 since i got myself a cart and could get the bonus items from the mario kart bonus disk and came onto this:
From FE7 Chapter 5 tutorial:
In-game message: Magic, like Dorcas’s throwing axes, can strike enemies in adjacent squares as well as those at a distance. It’s very...
Unsure about this but here we go
So Delilah Copperspoon was able to remove her soul from her body and place it somewhere else.
Would this qualify her for immunity to soul manipulation via being soulless?
Edit: I am told this would just be unconventional resistance because her soul still...
This is pretty straightforward and simple in my opinion. The Danny Phantom ghosts should have resistance to Gravity Manipulation.
Feat and Statement
We've visually seen ghosts walk on vertical surfaces without falling and stand on walls without feeling the effects of gravity. This is were...
