So, do you remember when she got shitstomped by some toads? Well, that's because they are immune to water abilities. All of Aqua's ability has a water attributes on it and the resistance to water abilities means resistance to almost all of her abilities. Immunity is even worse, it makes Aqua...
Just a small Question, if for exemple a characters has a passive existence erasure (his body has a aura that erase everythings from existence) he is resistant to it?
Sooo in Honkai Impact, you can equip something called Stigma(ta), and it gives you additional abilities, usually buffs and resistances. In the game though, you can only equip 3 of those on one character. So for a profile, is the limit considered game mechanics or ?
(Just in case, Stigmata are...
So, I often see that to measure the potency of a certain Mind Manipulation, we tend to use the number of people affected by said power.
Example: Vitiate's Mind Manipulation is into the quadrillions of people range.
As a consequence, we also scale resistance to this.
Example: Reinhard Heydrich...
Some people seem to think that arceus with all the plates can resist anything. But what abilities are there that he would still have no absolutely resistance to? Excluding attacks from higher dimensions of course
What I'm asking is basically... is there any character in this wiki which is not so haxxed themself and does not have only specific hax resistance, but rather some sort of passive quality that makes them invulnerable or greatly resistant to hax in general or a broad spectrum of hax?
For...
It's sort of related to the last one I made, but it's not about the potency. The Narutoverse and Touhou's mental resistances are scaled to planetary because of the fact that some individuals can be unaffected by the moon while everyone else is (yes, both are the moon). Keep in mind how we treat...
I may ask: Does character who have the abilitie to absorb certain hax have greater resistance than a character that can only withstand it.
Like, if someone can imbue his whole body with energy/fire/electricity/radiation or whatever they can absorb has greater resistance at that...
Take a character with no special powers other than they are seemingly impossible to change the state of their being or concept even by those from a higher dimenisonal plane.
Title says it all, considering both how extreme the resistance(s) is/are and just how many the characters have.
High 2-A and under only (I'd imagine that 1-C would have to be broken down by dimensions 6-11 and 1-B would just become a garbage fire but if I'm wrong, lmk). Resisting hax from Tier...
Should a character get resistance to things like mind and soul manipulation if they resist Existence Erasure? Particularly the type that erasues you completely; body, mind, and soul type deal? Because it would be trying to erasure your soul and mind as well, which technically could fall under MM...
we all know that a person who has enough durability can survive the effects of electricity on the external body, such as burning etc.
but what about the effects of electricity on the internal organs? can they be "tanked"?
ac electricity can disrupt the nerve signals from the natural pacemaker...
I'm working on a character profile right now and I needed to know how to precisely call this phenomenon. Basically he fought against someone that could stop time but he was able to move anyways, I don't know if I could qualify this 'Resistance' or 'Immunity' so I'm asking y'all. What do you think ?
I cannot seem to find an answer to this.
So this is a type of feat that is very common within fiction. The feat is that a person is able to walk into place, whether it is a kingdom or building where time has been stopped. Everything else has been stopped from the initial time stop, yet said...
This is a question that's been on my mind for a while, with some things related to BB, DB, DM, and others, so I think it's time to ask it. This isn't necessarily to change anything, but to get information.
When would we consider something a resistance as opposed to making a power have a...
I was wondering this: if two characters are described as equals, would they resist each others' hax? If they didn't, it would seem that one of them could hax stomp the other and they wouldn't really be equals.
For example, The Godwoke is the equal of (if not slightly inferior than) The God...
a simple question. reality warping consists of a whole plethora of abilities. shouldn't he be resistant to only those specific abiities which he has actually resisted, rather than being resistant to the whole entirety of reality warping?
I've seen this happen many times. Basically the assumption that a character resists the hax of a character who they defeated (Mainly offscreen). Not directly resisting their hax, just beating them. However, this always seemed like a rather flawed assumption. Indeed, many series on our wiki don't...
1.Beerus has regen,low I think. https://youtu.be/9BhBTN4DM90 at 3:58
2.Beerus has resistance to toonforce/reailty warping https://youtu.be/7kFh8ca0te4 at 2:37 "Carful, arale. That stuff dosent work on beerus." This is also backed up by everyone yelling at beerus to not destroy arale (even her...
Due to this thread, questions have been raised as to what robots are immune to by default. We treat many pages has having unlimited or undrainable stamina due to their robotic nature, and here we see the question of "do robots have immunity to Soul Manipulation and Mind Manipulation by default...

Short version:
We see Invel freezing Gray's arm and his face starting to freeze as well and contemporary we see his Arm and Face starting to shatter into pieces on its own where Invel also describes as his power freezes anything without...
I think that anyone in the stage or around it in episode 102 should have some form of Hypnosis/mind manipulation resistance for shaking off Ribrianne's Hynosis... except some that were visually seen affected like Obuni
Also regardless of having the talisman missing, Zamasu did manage to get out...
Existence Erasure is way higher level than just destory the atoms\cells\molecules,there is a case when someone capable of resist to Existence Erasure but not to Matter Manipulation?
Yes. This is a thing. And I want it to be known.
First off, even if this doesn't go through, we should probably move the 'survives the powerups of Hell' thing to Doom Slayer's key, since the negative effects of those (exploding organs, insanity, etc.) are only described in his game.
But...
When they fought with full power Asriel, frisk succeeded to move free via his determination:
https://youtu.be/SgiHl2kpMis?t=680
That's why i think they should have: Resistance to power nullification (with immense amounts of Determination)
(Note: If you plan on reading this, plan on doing a lot of it, because this is a long one.)
For those not in the know, we're currently awaiting clips from the new Dark Tower film to surface so that we may draw feats from them. (Refer to this thread for more info on that) Among those feats is a...
In fiction even though someone has shown a higher tier of durability they can still be killed with knives and bullets. In other words they are good against blunt impacts but not focused attacks (eg. Spiderman, Captain America, Deathstroke w/o armor). It doesn't make much sense because someone...
So, why Yveltal is listed as immune to psychic abilities? I get the whole thing about Dark type Pokèmon being unaffected by other Pokèmons using it, but this isn't ground for an immunity at all, just for a resistance.
Like the title says. What is the highest level of being that Hulk has resisted the soul manipulation of (excluding any obvious PIS like him resisting Mikaboshi's soul hax or something)?
Please provide scans of the events
We had some time ago a discussio about Invulnerability on profiles.
The problem back then was largely in which cases to give it and if it should be given at all, since Invulnerability is a No-Limits fallacy for everyone except Tier 0 characters.
Invulnerability has a little brother, that is...
Simply put, the profile for Soul Manipulation states it's a one hit kill on soulless beings. Isn't that wrong though? Soulless beings can't have their soul manipulated, because they don't have one. Furthermore, if souls aren't mentioned at all in a series, do souls exist in them?
User of this power can:
- deprive someone of resistance and immunity (mind attacks, soul manipulation etc)
- deprive someone of immorality (any types)
- deprive someone of invulnerability
