  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.
You mind me replying to you in the thread?

Frankly, kinda, yeah. As I said, it will almost certainly still be a case-by-case. I don't see the need for derivative talking points, at least not at the moment when the core isn't refined. I don't mean any offense by denying your request but I find the talk unnecessary.

That's fine. No offense taken. Thankfully there is a staff member who is more familiar with the nuances of fan translations for VNs and LNs not done for scaling.

Aye, the fact that there are others there also capable of communicating your general standpoint factored into my rejection above. I am (painfully) aware that this site is more or less comprised of mostly weebs. Someone on the staff board will have your exact same qualms, I'm sure, at which point we will be dragged away from the central point regardless.
    Question what is Heracles AP?

it says low 7-B but what calc?

This was my first ever forum thread post since I'm pretty new to this wiki, but I was wondering about your thoughts on this CRT I made for Dead Cells.

Replied, guy. Respect for the decent verse.

I've got most of the sandbox profile made in the CRT, I'd like to know how I should improve it or help to make it align with this Wiki's standards.

I already did that and I still don't know which size to use.

I suppose if you knew what sort of planet it was (gas giant and so on), you could work off of that. Or, if the planet was an established place, you could very easily try to find an equivalent- or look for a statement of its size. If it's just some random space rock said to be a planet, assume Earth-like size and accept that it may be too vague, and thus thrown out, in the face of more clear cut feats.
So Bambu, I'm trying to fish ideas for a DnD match with honestly anyone in Warhammer Fantasy, and so far all I'm getting are characters too strong for the High 6-Cs or too haxed for the 8-As

And I'm not using mages cause putting a mage from another verse against any Fantasy mage we have right now besides Sienna is a really sad stomp
    Mr. Bambu

    'k.

To be clear, I can't really help with this since I don't know Warhammer Fantasy much outside of my eight hours of playtime on Total War: Warhammer II.

Yeah I expected that, issue is I can't find any archers because of the aphor mentioned reasons

Unfortunate, but I respect it. I love anime as a medium and the unique things it can do, but I do avoid the big action-centric shounen ones, as they tend to be the biggest offenders of "weebery" as you call it, and I've grown out of that phase.

A reminder bump, if I may. If you're that averse to evaluating those, I can try asking others, but it's been nearly 2 months these calcs have been out despite my and Ant's efforts.

Do I take that as a no?
Hey their Bambu I was looking for some advise. I am making a a page that is an import for high end intelligence scaling for iron kingdom. the character is put at CR 1 which would put it in the fodder level but it has an ability that would need them to be level 7 which makes them 8-C. do you think it would be best to make their rating at least 9-B possible/likely 8-C?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
If you scroll down on my wall, you can see I actually accepted Kachon's calc here- but that's not really how it works, so I amended it.

So apparently the JT verse never got to Town+ AP because Chompy said that the surface area needs to be figured out first before scaling it to the characters.

He probably means that the character should not scale to the full yield and thus should find the surface area to see what much of the explosion the character actually took.

Looking back at the episode where the feat happened, Bling-Bling seemed to be right behind the volcano. Don't know how much this would affect it. And by looking at the size of the explosion, it seemed to stretch far past the island.

Do you have any idea how to calc this?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm not really interested in working on this, but I can tell you that the cross-sectional area calcs have a formula that can be found on our explosion calculations pages. Basically you need to know the distance from the epicenter and cross-sectional area of the person- for a normal human, this is about 0.68 m^2. After that, go through the steps described here.
    Hello, hello

The calc creator has responded to you in the SxF calculation
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm not accepting a calc that overestimates movement to that extent, and I'm not particularly interested in redoing the entire thing from scratch myself. She didn't move 4 meters- this is at least twice the height of her body. It's absurd and anyone can recognize it as absurd. It's rejected for now. I'll state that on the calc.
    Alright, usual list of questions
    1. Why does Death Knight and their representative Lord Soth have Hypersonic+ on speed? Soth's speed is said to be comparable to Zarovich who has a rating similar to the other Low 7-Bs and isn't Hypersonic+ the rating for the 9-A+ creatures?
    2. How fast does its immortality kick in
    3. What's the range of the fear manip?
    4. Does the Blood Amniote have resistance to blood manip, seeing as to how it's made of blood?
    5. Can victims dig out of an Entomber's seal
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    1. Probably just missed when the CRT was made to edit speed- I don't remember who did the actual listing of pages that needed changed, but those two must have been skipped over. To my knowledge, there's nothing that would disqualify either from the speed rating.
    2. Soth's immortality, do you mean? I believe more or less immediately, though his Type 8 may not raise him where he died. It varies from Darklord to Darklord, for example Strahd's basically functions like his standard Vampire immortality but buffed.
    3. The passive fear aura is close-range- for a standard Death Knight, it is 15-foot radius. Soth's is likely higher, given the logic that D&D works under, though I don't know the number off the top of my head.
    4. No more so than the standard D&D character- that is to say, it does have the resistance, but nothing more special than anyone else.
    5. Probably. It's strong enough to lock down people comparable to the Entomber, i.e., 9-A, but if they had, for example, a way of shifting through stone, they're fine.
    So, some questions as usual
    1. Is layered NPI and ESP a thing in D&D?
    2. What are the issues you're currently facing in the development of the CY-BORG verse? Because it seems to be pretty high in quality
    3. When out of cover or forced to start moving, what would a Cave Fisher do in combat?
    4. Are the deaf immune to Weeping Dirge?
    5. The Mu Spore has a reaction speed value... How exactly does it dodge?

Ah, a wheep. Yeah, if you're unable to hear, the wording implies you'd be immune.

    1. Actually, "layered" NPI and ESP is a legit thing, even in dnd. In 3e, Ghosts are both incorporeal, and by virtue of residing in the ethereal plane, they are unaffected by a bunch of stuff unless manifesting. Ghost Touch bypasses both. Ghosts are also normally invisible and double so when in Ethereal. True Seeing bypasses both. It's bs and stupid, but it's technically there.(The term "layered npi" started because of JoJo, as stands can't be seen nor interacted with even to other souls)
Hi, I'm (sort of) new here, I made a match with a Helmed Horror (well...a Battle Horror actually) recently and I'd need a couple of details on how D&D resistances (and resistances in general) are treated here, do you mind dropping in or do you prefer a recap of the questions here?
    Carfusso
I suppose your position on blasting spells is fair. I'm extremely tired at the moment so I'm going to leave that at that.

    Hey, don't push yourself.
Rest first, everything else second, internet rando on a fanfic batttle forum last, I can wait.
Still sorry though. (and thx again for the answers)

As for piercing... neither of those, I think. It's more like the method of piercing allows attacks that use it to functionally be stronger in the same setting. If the Horror were forced to punch, it'd be no different than the Eidolon.

Then I guess it's not that significant of an advantage if it has no ripercussion on the rating.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    I've since slept, thanks.

It isn't bad, and if the match is looking close it can be used to decide a victor. I just don't feel, in this instance, that it is noteworthy.
    Carfusso
Got it, ty, have a good day.
Hey so you did this calc and Im basically trying to replicate that just with a bigger house, I'm confused on what you did here in the calc

    FGQUFzy.png

How did you put the numbers in the equation to get the specific heat energy? From what ik about the formula is just E=m*c*change of temperature but when I do this with your numbers I don't get 1.2898e12, I get 1.3041843e+12 instead. (1022088 * 1450 * 880 - 16)
