They did the same thing with Dante iirc, it's essentially the "modernized" yet still outdated notion of using game mechanics plus the ignorant "If I didn't see it, it didn't happen" argument.
Anyway before I get trapped in the rabbit hole of talking about AR, I for one I'm looking forward to hearing some sweet original covers next season.

So Es is an character from Xblaze that joined in Blazblue Central Fiction due to being the guardian of the Azure. She might not be coming to Death Battle anytime soon, but I wanted to make this tier list for her. Now I think her vs Makoto/Minato interests me thanks to a video trailer of them....which I think it's gone now. The other option if you not interested seeing Door-kun dying is Vatista from Under Night In-Birth which also has connections as well. Overall I think Es beats everyone here, the only character she might struggle is Miyako Hotsuin from SMT. Neptune is there because of pudding and Saber is also there because Es is design is similar to Saber. Aigis, Vatista and 2B are self explanatory.

That part was cool, but the result out of it imo was anti climatic, could have been better then just hulk getting vaporized in broly's hands, could have had hulk shown breaking apart slowly from it or explode to dust even by the energy

I think it's sitting pretty being the strongest fighting game verse.

Right, with Makoto's reactions being higher than Squirrel Girl's speed and reactions and combine the fact she's a better hand to hand, Makoto can just outplay Squirrel Girl. Squirrel Girl's only advantage is that she's likely older.

He's a parody horror character who can hear well and kills people who do math incorrectly with a ruler. There's not much to talk about with him.

Maybe his best opponent is some Russian teacher from a verse inspired by Baldi's Basic. However, there is no profile for him yet.

Baldi would probably win against whomever just because his verse is less bound by reality and has been developed more so he has higher feats.

So Blazblue remains as the strongest verse who originates from a fighting game - unless dimensions break through at Guilty Gear which is still ongoing.
I am working on checking out if FOTNS can be relativistic or even FTL without using any word hyperbole (say calling MFTL+ from blocking a "Heaven Dipper Imperial Hundred Quintillion Palm").
BTW Saitama basically loses HARD to Superman, Goku, Krillin and Axe Cop - maybe can win against Shiki Tohno or maybe Kenshiro but (A) Shiki Tohno needs more love and (B) Kenshiro has just killed Jotaro Kujo plus Ken has lol intangibility and mirage clone spam and range spam and the sweet OHKO pressure point strikes.

My question is: is Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning polished enough to be in a Death Battle? MAYBE Baldi can fight Springtrap. Or Bendy, if Bendy is not fighting Cuphead.

Baldi doesn't really have connections to anyone, is the thing. If he's fighting anyone I guess it would be Freddy since FNAF was a parody of the horror genre at some point. But even alongside other horror parodies like the aforementioned FNAF and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, Baldi's never takes itself even remotely seriously aside from maybe that one t posing character without any body. Baldi and his entire game is an (admittedly funny and well-made) joke that the entire internet takes way too seriously.
Baldi's Basics is a game still in development anyways, they're still adding to the game all the time. I'm no expert, honestly. Though I doubt they'll give Baldi enough to be a DB combatant unless they really start scraping the bottom of the barrel.
