I find it crazy how this animator can mix an animesque artstyle with a cartoonish artstyle so well. The artstyle is so good and it makes so much sense. Like, normally these two different mediums wouldn't mesh well but this artstyle makes them mix really good, it has the same vibes as an old cartoon.

It'd be safer to upgrade them to the lower tiers first. You can already see how much people's jimmies get rustled from the verse having infinite speed, anything tier 1 related will cause a shitstorm (and it did in the past).

Huh, that tier isn't as bad as I thought. Touhou vs Mario, Undertale, Kingdom Hearts, Grand Blue, Earthbound, Tensura and the Wang Ling verse might go hard. I wonder how will Touhou rank against the top tiers of that tier?

Regardless, I am strongly opposed to this approach of "few per time".
My proposition is going for something more akin layers in the same CRT. I mean like this:
- Layer 1: Minimal Tier
- Layer 2: Middle Tier
- Layer 3: High Tier
- Layer 4: Higher High Tier

You do realize that Bill Cipher got upgraded to 11D (wait, more) with simply the same argument but backed up by more context, right?
Same with Dragon Ball Super, that became 2-C with also the same argument.
Undertale became 2-B again with also the same argument.
It's just that once the mods who are blatantly biased against a verse are gone, then people will listen to common sense instead.

If the Touhou supporters are going for the "Slowly upgrade the verse tier by tier" to try to get their higher ratings accepted, wouldn't it be more efficient if they just tried to aim for 5D and higher first rather than another degree of multiversal? Because then if people saw Touhou is 5D or higher, they will be more willing to accept higher degrees of higher dimensionality.
Or well, just do as Strym says and directly upgrade to the highest, most reasonable tier you can think of. If even he managed to pull some higher dimensional tier upgrades, I am certain the Touhou supporters could do the same too.

No, we intend to take things bit by bit, because Touhou upgrades and CRTs notoriously take extensive times to be evaluated and passed, and mods have gotten upset at us in the past for making CRTs that were “too big” or had too much to discuss at once. The mods are not at all familiar with Touhou and thus major claims like tier 1 would require lots of coverage and discussion to be done.
If I wanted to immediately jump for the highest end stats, I’d just make the 1A and Immeasurable upgrade right now. But we have none of the groundwork done to make that sort of upgrade easy. Establishing 2B first lets us introduce and cover lots of the cosmology, stats, scaling and other things without getting jumped. We’re doing things out of several years of experience.

My experience is telling me the opposite.
If the complain is "too big", then it's up to you making shit short and cohesive. How do you think that extreme tier upgrades happened. With the method I use.
Not to mention that this stuff of scaling, stats, etc. can indeed be explained in dedicated threads, but only after that the cosmology is accepted.
I may give information to you on how to structure the CRTs if you wish to, as long as you want this to be done fast and remove this boulder from your back.
Because doing things while knowingly making things still outdated and incorrect is just stupid.

You know, I am wondering if that strategy is valid. I don't keep up with other verse upgrades, but do they usually take this approach of jumping as few tiers as possible, or do they just jump to the highest tier they can jump to? I'd personally just do a big jump towards the most reasonable highball, and then I'd start wanking. How do other verses do their Tier 1 upgrades?

I'm pretty sure it took weeks for like... a Reimu upgrade to past which was literally just one or two abilities directly implied via scans.
When it comes to Touhou, staff rarely appear even if the CRT is as straightforward and short as possibleunless it's a downgrade thread.
To be honest, speaking from experience, I can 100% understand why they're breaking things down to easier to digest, sizable chunks. Stuff like Undertale at the very least get some level of traction. Touhou supporters basically have to beg for mods to even glance at a CRTagain, unless it's a downgrade, lol.
