What is with all this massive Azathoth wank? Yes, he's incredibly strong, but is absolutely, totally dwarfed by The Writer, and so is everyone else here, since they're literally all just fiction. Even characters with "author authority" are nothing because The Writer is LITERALLY The Writer of the story. He would just rewrite the characters and make them not exist, because no matter how strong they are, to The Writer, they're just fiction, and always will be.

Like, people out here saying X verse is bigger but having no knowledge on the verse they're talking about or not knowing the scaling that puts any of these verses so high, makes you look so dumb, and the leaps in logic people have to do to justify their character being stronger than others like "Azzy is kept asleep therefore TOAA solos all of them by feats" is such pseudo-intellectual nonsense I don't even know where to start besides dropping a fat nuke on this thread.

Throw in Masadaverse and you'd have the same issue, just replace chaos or information with taiji and the same issues apply.
The only exceptions are Umineko and Cthulhu Mythos (and arguably TES) because they are more about their complex cosmologies than their absolute power sources. However, a different issue arises when comparing them.

@Sera If multiple fictions have levels to 1-A via their own system. They can be equalized to find out who has a higher transcendence. Higher infinities is a thing regardless of the cosmology and mythology of the verse. Like Cthlhu Mythos is undeniably superior to TES.

thats a pretty fair point for Sera, however i agree with Emperor when he says that there is a difference as in example cthulhu mythos is superior to TES. however the cosmology equalization is pretty nasty to be fair.

Iirc, the difference between two gates in sequence in the CM is the difference between an 11-C and a baseline 1-A, which ultimately doesn't make sense. Once, you are 1-A, you are past caring about dimensions, numbers etc.

I agree a cosmology can be bigger than another but, for example, if a Hadou God was in Cthulhu or TES, they would be even stronger because of those bigger cosmologies. Hadou paints over everything no matter the size.
They are only limited by the amount of space that exists in their verse. They could easily be even higher if they had more space to paint with their laws.
That goes for any Hadou God regardless of their Taiji value, as Taikyoku Value is only an in universe power-scaling tool used to say "this god could beat this god in a fight" but it doesn't exactly mean they're "levels" above or below each other like in Umineko.

It's basically what makes these verses as high as they are is often down to a special hierarchy based upon a system or force that is above all others in their respective verse.
The problem is, is that these verses don't meld well at all, and even if they did it becomes the same old argument:
"My Outerversal dick is bigger than yours." But no reasons given because people don't actually know how powerful the verses they like are.
Its why even as a joke, these threads become cancerous quickly.

a quick question, for verses like masada and the such, in-universe scaling such as taikoyu is being used. however in cthulhu and uminkeo, they have the gates and layer system respectivly. do these previously mentioned systems "make more sense" for relative difference in might?
