"Ooooh? Space magic? It'll be a fine power to have." Says Ryu

"Might as well train my skill." Says Ryu as he summon his duplication swords to accompany his skill training while he fight against his duplication swords

"Ooooh, you must want to learn Thaumaturgical science, then! Yknow, the practice of mixing magic and technology and or science or its facets with each other! Pretty much what I did with Phoebe's fist!" Elis said, smiling happily.
"........" Charlotte looked at her for a few moments.

"If learning...that...would give me a better understanding of magical shapes...then, yeah, I'm open to anything you can teach me." She said.

Elis smiled, conjuring around... 500 books behind herself. Luckily, the training room was enormous.

"So! We'll start you on the beginner stuff! That's around... 56? No No, I think that'd be 59 books! All on the basics. Then we've got the intermediate stuff which is a little harder, but that's like, only 29 books, so you can blow through that! Then we've got some of the stuff for those who really wanna get into it, and that's like, 250 books. It gets a little easier though, don't worry, you only have 138 left after that!" Elis said.

Each of them was around 3,000 pages long.

Charlotte stared at the books blankly for a few moments. She idly took out a cigarette, spinning it in her fingers as he glanced at the pile before her.

".........."

"erm....is there any way to...skip to the important bits?" She muttered.

"You also said you wanted to learn how to make cool weapons, right? Most of these are on making enchanted weapons, around half, and the other half is about geometry. Very, Very high-level archaic geometry. So yes, you do need to learn all this!" She said firmly.

Charlotte sighed. Breathing out as she stared at the pile of books before her.

"...Can....can you at least put all this in a bag or something? One of those magical bags. So I don't have to carry all of this everywhere?" She said wearily. Continuing to stare at the sheer number of books she would have to read.

"I mean, I assumed you could knock them out in a day. You looked like a fast reader with how well you comprehend geometry and stuff..." Elis said.

"............." Charlotte stared at her blankly.

"How similar is magical geometry to....normal geometry?"

"because my knowledge of geometrical concepts is....instinctual. I didn't have to actually study for it. So if it's a lot different it may take me a bit...longer." She said.

"Yeah, what Kentoria said." Elis said before manifesting some chalk.

"So... When you wanna imagine those electric bullets I shot at yah... You wanna imagine a point. That's the bullet, which is made of electricity. But then you wanna imagine the inside of the bullet, which is made of mana, so like, the electricity is the outer layer but the magic is the inner layer. So you then wanna take that point and just..." Elis drew around 50 lines that came out of the dot, then connected all of them. She then did the same for each individual dot, then connected them, then repeated the process around 12 times, each time the patterns became more erratic and unpredictable until it made absolutely 0 sense.

"So like... There are a bunch of particles inside the bullet that dictate how it moves, the magic particles. For an electrical bullet, this would be a close approximation of how they connect and stuff." Elis said, dusting herself off.

Charlotte leaned forward a bit, examining the particles. Blinking slightly as she took out her glasses.

"...So it's all just angles then. Right? The particles, they just move in really complex patterns and shapes within the electrical shell...?" Charlotte asked.

"Well, kinda. The particles move around constantly and change direction and patterns. This is just the closest approximation I could get of a stationary magic bullet or whatever since that's what you had a hard time predicting." Elis said.

"...Then...once I learn how to spot the particles themselves, all I need to do is just study and narrow down the possible patterns they can perform, right...?" Charlotte said, trying to understand it.

"....There's only so many movements an object can make within space...."

"Correct, try and read this." Kentoria said, making a visible and extremely slow moving slash of electricity with her sword
Charlotte stared at the slash blankly for a moment, before shaking her head.

"...gonna need to start studying before I can read that...." She muttered.

"Well, yeah, but this is just a bullet. Kentoria uses a sword which is bigger and longer, so, the particles would be moving more and more spread out." Elis said, "Basically, the bigger the object and more complex the structure, the more complex it is to like... read. If Kentoria like, chucked her sword at you, it'd be pretty hard to read, yknow?"

"Maybe if you and Kentoria spar it'll be easier to learn?"

"Well, you'll still need to read the books. These are very very dumbed-down explanations." Elis said.
Charlotte looked at Elis wearily for a few moments.

"Alright, alright. I'll start on those after the spar. These particles don't seem completely foreign from concepts I already understand....so I might knock them out quicker than I thought." She said.

"Yeah..." Kentoria said, jumping back and entering a stance that made her movements extraordinarily hard to predict
Charlotte turned towards Kentoria, assuming her own stance as she put her hands in her pocket.

"...ready when you are."

Kentoria visibly relaxed her muscles and brought her sword all the way out to her right side, showing the broad side and then the sharp, the wind suddenly moving to slash Charlotte across the upper body

Charlotte squinted her eyes, trying to see the wind as it flew towards her. She could vaguely see the particles that made up the attack, but as she was now she had no clue what they meant or how to discern their patterns.

Suddenly, she used her teleportation to swap places with a nearby dummy, narrowly avoiding the attack as it split the dummy entirely in half.

"Keep 'em coming." She called out. Morso interested in trying to predict her attacks then having an actual fight.

Kentoria used an earth slash right behind Charlotte to get her in the back, clearly focused on the exact opposite, beginning to slowly approach Charlotte with a metal slash falling down to her

"Tch least she ain't as annoying as the kid with those projectiles..." She thought. She stared at the metal slash for a moment, comparing its particles' movements to what she'd seen so far with the other magical spells, slowly beginning to guess how magic particles, in general, moved.

Charlotte teleported again, moving entirely across the room as the metal slash and earth slash slammed against yet another dummy, completely obliterating it. She breathed out, having nearly been caught off guard by the earth slash, and would have gotten hit if she hadn't moved to dodge the other attack.

(Kentoria doesn't use magic lol, she uses something similar enough to learn though lol)

A sudden burst of smoke hid Kentoria and her movements, steadily approaching Charlotte as three smoke Slashes fromm the front flew at her with an ice slash from behind

(Bruh wot-)

Charlotte moved to avoid the smoke slashes, clicking her teeth a bit as she continued to analyze the particles, trying to understand the logic behind them. Her understanding of it was rapidly expanding, as she rapidly put together the angles the particles could move at any given point. However, she was caught off guard by the slash of ice from behind, the slash slamming into her back as she grunted in surprise and pain.

"596, 597, 598, 599 and 600" Rex said as he dropped his weights, he had increased the weight to 5.5 Tons something that almost ended up breaking his arms but he didn't care.

"Now we continue with this" he reformed the weights so that they are around his extremities and began to move in a jerky manner trying to improve his maneuverability

(Lol)

"Well done, now predict these." Kentoria called out, a bunch of electricity Slashes moving erratically began going right for Charlotte
Charlotte stared at the slashes for a moment, focusing entirely on them. She tried to block out every other stimuli, stretching her own knowledge of geometry to its limit as she stared at the particles that made up the slashes.

To her surprise...she managed to predict one of them, the slash passing mere centimeters away from her body as she took a step away from it. However, it was clear that she couldn't predict such a vast barrage. Charlotte quickly swapped places with a dummy across the room, the slashes burning into the dummy as she leaned against the wall, awaiting Kentoria next attack.

Kentoria blasted the smoke away, it dissipated as she did so, a rock slash coming from behind Charlotte on the wall before Kentoria sent ten Slashes of electricity moving far more erratically then last time
