"You sure a bullet like that wouldn't kill me?" Charlotte asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not too keen on letting someone take shots at me, even if it's a friend."
"I mean, I can control the output... Cause now that I think about it getting hit by a bullet from a miniature railgun would probably kill you..." Elis murmured, "This is just a test, though! Like, it's a... a spar, yeah, a spar! You can dodge and counter-attack and all that stuff." Elis said with a smile.

Like, it's a... a spar, yeah, a spar! You can dodge and counter-attack and all that stuff." Elis said with a smile.
Charlotte considered this for a moment, before nodding.

"If you want to tussle, I'm alright with that. Wouldn't hurt to sharpen my skills a bit..." She said.

"I mean, I wouldn't say tussle, hehe..." Elis said, nervously chuckling because of how physically repugnant she was in comparison to well... everybody else.

"Wh-Whatever, let's just do this!" She said.

Elis nodded with a smile, charging up her revolver and firing 5 electromagnetically charged bullets at Charlotte in quick succession, Elis seeming to have gotten rid of the recoil on the gun as well.

Elis nodded with a smile, charging up her revolver and firing 5 electromagnetically charged bullets at Charlotte in quick succession, Elis seeming to have gotten rid of the recoil on the gun as well.
From the moment Elis fired the bullets, Charlotte could see them. The angle of the shot, the bullet's exact measurements, even the rapidly closing distance it would need to hit her body. All of this nearly instantly seeped into her brain, Charlotte not even consciously aware of it as it happened. To her, it was like second nature, a simple quirk in her being that she had since before she could remember. One of the few gifts fate sought to bestow on her.

Sorting through the information, she managed to form a prediction in her brain, telling her exactly where she needed to move to evade each shot. She began to weave through the gunfire, the bullets missing her by mere millimeters. Should this be successful, she would immediately swap places with one of the dummies behind Elis, appearing behind the girl as she launched a fierce strike towards a pressure point in her neck, seeking to knock her out in the first strike.

As if it was instant, or as if it was planned already by Elis, she used her telekinesis to immediately change the trajectory of the bullets that Charlotte had dodged, which would slam into her face with severely lessened force, if successful. And even if she happened to dodge, Elis would shoot out another 5 bullets, which she would send flying towards Charlotte again. It seemed that she was betting on Charlotte using her prediction abilities to dodge, only to catch her off-guard with the bullets nigh-instantly changing their trajectory to hit her... And her plans didn't seem to end there.

Charlotte stared at the bullets, clearly caught off guard. Her Spatial awareness, which still had the measurements and speed of the bullets memorized, rapidly corrected her assumption of the angles, as she threw her head back a moment before the shots could impact her.

"Clever..." She murmured.

Seeing that Elis was launching more bullets towards her, Charlotte took her hands out of her pocket, now visibly on guard for the magical bullets. Taking out her gauntlet, she fired a shot right towards Elis, the bullet flying towards her at high speeds. As soon as it got within melee range of her, however, Charlotte used her teleportation to swap places with the round, dodging Elis's attack in the process as she launched a kick towards Elis's chest, hoping to knock her over.

Even as Charlotte teleported in front of Elis to kick her, Elis would simply shoot the gun into Charlotte's leg, increasing its speed specifically, mostly being used to paralyze her leg if successful as the bullets she dodged came flying back towards her with Elis's telekinesis as she teleported away from Charlotte, doing her best to conserve her own physical stamina as she began firing bullets in rapid succession towards Charlotte, clearly trying to play the ranged game...

Charlotte retracted her leg at the last instant, barely managing to dodge the shot by carefully observing the angle of the barrel as she slammed her foot into the ground, leaping into the air. She breathed out, clearly unused to using her predictions against attacks of this nature. Seeing the multitude of bullets coming towards her from both behind and in front, she quickly swapped places with one of the dummies directly behind Elis, clearly not wanting to let continue her ranged assault. She rushed towards the woman, aiming a quick jab to the back of her head if successful.

Elis immediately teleported her bullets behind herself, sending them flying towards Charlotte while she bent her arm back to begin firing consecutive bullets once more towards Charlotte. "Looks like you fell for it again...!" Elis thought to herself. All of her actions seemed to be for making Charlotte abuse her teleportation and predictions to continue catching her off guard with erratic bullet movements, teleporting away once again.

All of her actions seemed to be for making Charlotte abuse her teleportation and predictions to continue catching her off guard with erratic bullet movements, teleporting away once again.
"******* hell..." Charlotte muttered. Unable to entirely dodge the assault, she instead opted to minimize the damage, expertly deducing the angles of the shots to shift her body just enough to cause the bullets to land glancing blows against her body. The lessened force of the bullets combined with them only landing glancing hits, prevented her from taking more than minor injuries from the assault if successful.

Quickly she brought up her gauntlet, Firing her own barrage of bullets that would each bounce off the air, flying in unpredictable patterns, some of the shots not even aiming at her directly. Gesturing her hand, she immediately swapped places with a random one of these bullets, hoping to catch Elis off guard as she quickly went to grab the gun in Elis's hand, attempting to rip it out of her hand forcefully with her superior strength.

Elis surrounded her entire body in a forcefield to block the bullets, which didn't seem to work very well given the strength of the bullets, but either way, the forcefield was capable of holding up for a few moments which followed with her simply teleporting behind Charlotte and continuing to fire bullets at her.

"I can just make another one if she disarms me..." Elis thought to herself as she fired.

Charlotte jumped into the air, her spatial awareness allowing her to dodge attacks even if they occur outside of her view. She aimed downward, firing another barrage of bullets towards Elis as she attempted to pressure the girl. However, as she did this, something strange began to happen. Charlotte's body seemed to get closer to Elis, until she was seemingly within melee range with the women. Charlotte altered the perception of her position in space, so that she seemed much closer than she actually was.

Assuming This sudden shift in perception would catch Elis off guard, Charlotte would quickly circle behind her, using her teleportation to close the actual gap between them. Immediately, she would launch a fierce punch within the girls blindspot, aiming at the arm that was carrying her gun.

Elis precisely shot Charlotte's bullets out of the air, using her own perception and telekinesis to knock them out of the air as she immediately realized that Charlotte was messing with her perception due to her own enhanced senses. Elis snickered.

"Thanks for falling for that again!"

Elis purposely let go of the gun right before Charlotte hit her arm, teleporting into the air and telekinetically moving the gun to fire on its own, launching barrages of bullets at Charlotte as it floated in front of her. Even if she was able to somehow teleport away or dodge the bullets using her prediction abilities, Elis would simply teleport the gun back into her hand and continue firing, maneuvering the bullets with her telekinesis to hit Charlotte even if she teleported or dodged. Elis predicted that Charlotte would continue to use her teleportation and prediction throughout the entire fight, and now she knew Charlotte could mess with perception.

"This means she'll be trying to disarm me for the rest of the fight using that ability... But if she gets too close I could simply teleport away continuously, but she'll probably get used to that... This means she'll try and mess with my perception to throw me off... But what if..." Elis processed the entire fight in her head. Each movement, each plan, she continued to ponder it over while she was in the air, all while continuing to pelt Charlotte with attacks.

Charlotte gritted her teeth, clearly aggravated by Elis's strategy. Charlotte grabbed her gauntlet, predicting the angle of the bullets to shoot them out of the air before they could change direction, rapidly backstepping as she defended herself against the barrage of bullets.

"Tch The kids already figured out my teleportation...and I can't predict her forever..." Charlotte thought.

Charlotte began to dash across the room, continuing to fire rounds at Elis that would bounce in unpredictable directions. She kept moving, knowing she couldn't afford to stand still. Grabbing one of the dummies from the room, she quickly tossed it towards the girl, hoping it would briefly block her vision as she continued to fire shots towards her.

"She's trying to make it so that I can't deflect her bullets... Predictable, but also a nuisance..." Elis would continue attempting to shoot the bullets out of the air, maneuvering them with her telekinesis to increase accuracy while firing at Charlotte at the same time.

Elis then rapidly changed the trajectory of a few of the bullets to shoot through the dummy, knocking it away from her and tearing it to pieces as the stuffing flew into the air, Elis making the split-second decision to use said stuffing to obscure herself while continuing to fire bullets at Charlotte, after, all, she couldn't predict what she couldn't see. Elis obviously didn't think this was going to work, though. She was too analytical for such a sloppy diversion tactic to work.

"What if..." It only took Elis a few seconds to realize this. Every time she glanced at Charlotte's eyes she could tell that she was analyzing, but she only figured out how until now. She was using geometric angles, impossibly precise timing, and shapes, to be able to predict attacks. It was an incredible ability indeed, but, Elis immediately figured out how to overwhelm her. She began shooting out electrical bullets, made from pure energy, before then switching to normal physical bullets, then back to elemental, then physical, then back to elemental, and the cycle repeated as she used her telekinesis to increase their accuracy. If this didn't work, she had plenty of other plans to account for it.

The stuffing indeed didn't work to obscure Charlotte's vision, her spatial awareness rapidly accounting for the fluff as she quickly jumped backward, avoiding the initial hail of gunfire.

However, her ability had a flaw. While she could perfectly predict the dimensions of solid objects, the more fluid nature of magical spells was much harder to ascertain. Charlotte could predict their trajectory and even guess their speed, but without the vital information of their geometrical shape, her predictions had a much more difficult time accounting for them. Additionally, the rapid switch between physical and elemental increased the difficulty further, Charlotte now having to account for both solid and magical objects flying towards her, all of which going at odd angles due to her telekinesis.

Charlotte managed to dodge the first dozen bullets, still somewhat reading her attacks, but was eventually overwhelmed by the barrage, elemental bolts striking her torso and arms as she shielded her face. She shifted her body using her remaining predictions, causing the majority of the attacks to only land glancing blows, but it was clear she would have difficulty against such a strategy.

Once the hail of gunfire had passed, Charlotte....raised her hand.

"Alright, alright. I surrender." She said, shaking her head.

"Cool. That was a great fight, Charlotte!" Elis said, smiling as she floated down. Her revolver changed itself back into a staff as Elis went over to shake Charlotte's hand, not a scratch on her body.

“Both of you were amazing.” Phares said clapping his hands. He had taken a break in his own practice to watch Elis and Charlotte spar. “I’ll have to work extra hard to keep up.” He added.

Charlotte shook her head.

"...if that were a real fight I'd already be dead." Charlotte muttered. Frustration was audible in her voice for a few moments, and she didn't look Elis in the eye.

She grabbed her hand, putting it in a firm handshake.

"...You're one tough son of a gun, kid." She said.

Elis blushed a bit, "Thanks, Phares! I'd love to spar with you as well sometime if your up for it."

Charlotte said nothing for a few moments. She fished around in her pocket, taking out a cigarette.

"It's nothing, Elis. Good job." She said. She turned away, smoothing her suit.

"...I'm going to go take a shower, Holler if the new blood comes."

"Alright," Elis said, shrugging. She could tell Charlotte was clearly thinking about something but she didn't want to pressure her or make her uncomfortable, so she simply went to the couch and waited.

Elis blushed a bit, "Thanks, Phares! I'd love to spar with you as well sometime if your up for it."
“Honestly, I don’t think I could beat you in a straight fight as I am now, but testing myself against someone of your calibre is tempting.” He says with a bit of a sad smile. I’m going to need to figure out something new. My powers won’t hold up forever, he thinks.

"Oh, don't be like that, Phares! Your a stealthy kinda guy, right? Then your fighting style should probably involve trying to slip past enemy defenses and stuff like that instead of big shadow attacks. I think the training you've been doing now is pretty good, since being able to morph your shadow into stuff is good for mobility and versatility, but if you want, I can make you like... some daggers, yeah! I have a really good affinity with dark magic as well so I bet I could whip you up something really good to help you with your training!" Elis offered.

“Thank you Elis. You’re right brute force has never been my area of expertise. Playing to my strengths is going to be more useful then trying to be something I’m not. I think I’ll take you up on your offer for those daggers.“ He says looking a bit brighter.

"Awesome! I think I'll be able to make something perfect for you! Any preferences? Size? Shape? Weight? Metal composition? Anything specific? Do you want a cool design on the blade?" Elis asked, wanting to get all the specifics down.

Charlotte got into one of the bathrooms, leaning forward as she looked into the mirror. Sighing heavily, she put one of her fingers on her head, gently tracing the scar along her face and lips.

"...Weak..." She muttered. Disgust raised in her voice, not towards anyone but herself. She had been fighting since she could walk...and this was all she could show for it? Elis wasn't weak; there was no shame in losing to her...but it still weighed on Charlotte.

"...I'm gonna get myself killed at this rate..." she muttered. Where she had come from, weakness meant death. And if Elis had the mind, it certainly would have meant that in their spar.

Charlotte sighed again, taking off her suit as she stepped into the shower, deep in thought.

Rex would return to the hotel, he took off his strip of clothing, noticing that the people were still waiting and he sighed.

"I guess I can do this" he said as he began to write on his notebook.

“I’d want them to relatively light and pretty easy to keep concealed. I’ll leave the composition and specific shape to your discretion. Although I would appreciate having a cool design on them.” Phares says thoughtfully.

"I'll get to work right away, then! By the way, do you want them to be enchanted weapons or normal weapons? I assume enchanted weapons were implied but if you just want normal lightweight daggers I can whip those up as well!" Elis asked.

Rex would write in his Notebook.

"Name Rex IV Outlander, day 536, currently the Group, called Stars of Cinder by the little Elis, is on an aquatic planet, Neptune if I'm not mistaken, apparently the man with the mask has brought some interesting people, each one with a different form, although I have not seen they fight, I think they are at the level according to Maskman's statement, currently we are waiting for someone else, the others are trained and apparently the empire has a super secret material known as Orichalcum which is a mixture of 35 different metals, for now, I am looking forward to any event that will allow me to test its characteristics for myself.

Rex out~~" Rex stopped typing and then took another sip of beer, feeling better.
