Nicholas hands a device to Kyouka that can find the location of Ruby and Dilma.

"Here, just don't kidnap them this time." He states.

Clone Nicholas places down a few more devices to constantly observe the energy directly for any changes, the starships leave.


Jonathan listens while tinkering with his gun, adding further upgrades to it.

"I suppose I found these people interesting, there's more to be gained from sticking around here than working all on my own anyway."

 

[WHYNAUT]

"I see." Sapheram replies to Jonathan before turning back to Eike.

"I prefer observing over asking questions most of the time, but if you say so..."

Sapheram looks at Laya to see whether she approves too.

It would be much quicker to kidnap them though, but I guess he doesn't want me to for some reason.

"Okay fine, I won't kidnap them this time, I'll be back." Kyouka says, looking down at the device

She appears from a portal behind Dilma and Ruby, bounded field down so they aren't paralyzed, and addresses them

"Hello ladies, I have come to ask for your assistance in potential upcoming battles against Challengers again. Andrew has a plan to summon one before it finishes gaining power, which will happen in about an hours time. There is also currently the energy of the previous Challenger in an area around the South Pole, but that energy seems to need a catalyst of some sort to do anything." She explains

"Anyway, this time I wanted to simply ask for your cooperation before doing anything else."

''1 hour away........ I wonder if Nicholas has figured out any issues with my plan. I think I may have to work out a few things in this last hour....''

"Well, I came to Layla half out of boredom and half because she shared at least one of my views. Namely, that the egotistical cretin named "Crunkledunk," and what a dumb name it is, deserves some revenge for his actions. Other than that, I've stayed for the sense of privacy given by Johnathan's technology."

I guess that we just can't be left alone for a minute

"Well, i suppose that if we don't accept it, we'll just be paralysed again, right?"

Dilma asks with a boredom tone

Kyouka sighs

"No, Nicholas told me not to do that this time. Which is why I came to ask instead of snatching you guys up later." She explains

Dilma thinks a little

"You know, we're not that relevant for the battle, so you should be fine without us"

"Any help matters, you two were useful last time and you thought the same." Kyouka says

"I'm willing to offer compensation for your help. I can give you guys Asauchi, which can transform into a weapon of your own with unique abilities and its own spirit, Hogyoku which can grant whatever desires you have, make you stronger, and help keep you alive, or maybe even Schrifts, letters which grant unique powers based on the letters, making you a Quincy."

 

[Drite77]

"Well, last time i checked, i almost lost my hand after we were dragged to the fight, by you... but alright i guess, i am ok if Cutie is ok, but, with one extra condition, well... actually, two, but one is not needed. Could we get the Schrifts or whatever their name is + that weapon thing? And the other one is to have a big beer party after the fight, to cheer us up"

 

[Paul_Frank]

"Schrifts and Asauchi..." Kyouka thinks for a moment

"Fine, although I don't carry the blades on me so I'd have to go back to the Garden to get some, and sure, there can be a big party after the fight. Anyway, as for the schrifts, did you want any letter in particular?" She asks

"Well, what each letter do actually?"

 

[CrimsonStarFallen]

"JOHN, THERE ARE 3 UNNIDENTIFIED WOMEN WITH SUPERPOWERS IN A NOT SO DISTANT LOCATION FROM HERE. SHOULD I GRAB THEN?"

"No."

"I SEE. YOUR DESIRES HAVE BEEN UNDERSTOOD, MASTER."

Kyouka inhales

"And that's what they do, any questions?"

"Not really, and i think that i will take the Karma one, and you cutie?"

"Could I have some of those strange balls that I can't be bothered to pronounce?" Crunkledunk asks to Kyoka. "Also I errr, haven't exactly been preparing- at least specifically"

 

[WHYNAUT]

"I do agree that there seems to be a lack of privacy in this world. Well then, don't let me keep you from doing whatever you were doing. If you need something from me then you'll just have to tell me." Sapheram says to everyone in the base.

 

[Paul_Frank]

"We'll have to ask Nicholas to make them when we go back, he can produce them easily thanks to his Schrift. The only one I'm carrying is already fused with me."

Ruby puots at the fact that her private time with Dilma was interrupted yet again.

"Ok sure, i'll help you."

She tell Kyoka, thought with annoyance in her voice.

"About the letter thingos, would choosing all of them be an option ?"

"I guess it could be an option." Kyouka says

"It might come with some risks, having more than one letter that is, but if you really want them I could give you all of them I suppose."

 

[Drite77]

"What risks are we talking about here?"

 

[Paul_Frank]

"Well, I gave Crunkledunk two before, he had some issues adjusting to it as his mind couldn't handle the weight of two, but he quickly adjusted after being talked to and helped. He is currently fine as you may see." Kyouka says, gesturing to Crunkle besides her

"So it may end up a more extreme version of what happened to him, or it may be different altogether."

 

[Drite77]

"Erm, that seems kinda worrying, and besides, you don't need all of them Cutie, it is not like they will be missed in battles, you are problaby fine with one."

Dilma says in a worried tone

Nicholas continues making preparations in the lab, traveling to the Speed Force for some purpose on occasion. Clone Nicholas also returns to the lab and begins working on something, the ship is still being worked on.


Jonathan continues tinkering with his gun and later working on a few other devices, listening to what the newcomer says.

Kyouka shrugs

"The choice is up to her in the end. It will likely have negative outcomes as I've said. If she is willing to accept those and try to work around them, then I won't stop her." She says

"If she decides not to take all of them, she can of course just choose one."

 

[Edwellken]

"Like Eike said, most of the other guys are jerks, and working together is beneficial for us."

 

[WHYNAUT]

"So is it okay if I stay for a while then?"

 

[Edwellken]

He's like Silas..?

"I guess, just don't mess with anything that seems important."

 

[WHYNAUT]

"I won't mess with anything unless asked then. Is there any way for me repay your hospality?"

 

[Edwellken]

Mischievous thought intensifies.

"Probably... what can you do?"

I look over him to see if there's anything instantly discernible that stands out about his physiology.

"I can do a lot of things. Is there anything you're looking for specifically?"

Layla can see that a faint green aura seems to be coming from Sapheram's body and that he isn't a human.

He can indeed do a lot of things.

I think to myself as I answer his question.

"Well, at first, it wasn't really a group. It was just Layla by herself and I started helping her with her goals. Eventually more people joined. As for why, I felt like she felt lonely and cornered and I didn't want her to stay like that. I've felt like that before and it wasn't pleasant."

 

[Edwellken]

"How much of your genetic material are you willing to part with?" I ask Sapheram enthusiastically.

"Well it- I wasn't that lonely. I just like having you around..." I say after hearing Silas.

 

[WHYNAUT]

"That depends on what you want to do with it."

 

[Edwellken]

"You know... things. I don't know yet, but after some experimentation, I will."

 

[WHYNAUT]

"Well there isn't much you could gain from my DNA that I can't give you directly. I won't give it away that easily however. I was more thinking about some way I could make myself useful. You see, I'm incredibly bored."

 

[Edwellken]

"Then why not become my guinea pig? I'll get to test a few things out, and you'll have something to do. If you somehow die, I'll resurrect you of course, since you're a valuable test subject after all."

"Every once in a while, these monsters show up. They usually take several powered people to defeat, so I'd imagine that would keep you entertained."

 

[WHYNAUT]

"subjecting myself to experiments isn't really that interesting. I also don't think I'm that interesting to do research on. Although I'm curious about this resurrection.

I like a good fight, but I'm not interested in fighting the challengers."

"The finer points can wait... but part of the experiments would involve testing out some of my soldiers and weapons against you. I want to measure their effectiveness against someone as strong as one of us, and you seemed pretty convenient."
