Reforged Ideals Game Thread 1

Nicholas easily blocks the kick. "I am a skilled martial artist, such tricks won't work on me."

Nicholas moves a bit away from the person that tried attacking him.

"Let us begin.
It's elementary, my friend.
Elementary, My Dear."

Nicholas releases the True Name of his Noble Phantasm, an unidentified sphere appearing by his side, analyzing the barrier completely, learning its nature, weaknesses and how to exploit them.
 
" I thought you were saying that if our intentions were pure we would be allowed exit" Crunkledunk says in an annoyed tone. ( I don't know about Sherlock in Fate, but an argument could be made that since I am an expert close quarters combatant I would be to skilled to be casually blocked while your head was turned- of course I was intending to fail but I just had a look at my characters stats).
 
[Sherlock has such good analysis that he has literal clairvoyance, I would have seen the attack coming a mile away regardless of being turned around, he is also such a good martial artist that his martial arts can be comparable to True Name releases of Noble Phantasms.]
 
"Well then that was something alright."

I should probably check out what happened in DC. Kyouka thinks while looking to the sky where she notices a plane flying northeast.

"Perfect I'll hitch a ride instead of going myself." She says as she flies up towards the plane and climbs onto the wing and sits down.
 
(Fair enough then- though Tinker Knight is also an extraordinary genius so he might have predicted the prediction! Seriously though, yeah tinker knight doesn't have clairvoyance, I mean he literally only noticed shovel knight next to him when he started getting attacked, and custom knight isn't as good at martial arts than Sherlock)

Nicholas releases the True Name of his Noble Phantasm, an unidentified sphere appearing by his side, analyzing the barrier completely, learning its nature, weaknesses and how to exploit them.

The barrier is a force that has been directly placed by the strange presence you saw before. It can be undone by brute force, but none of you currently have anywhere near enough power to do so. Otherwise, most of your abilities cannot allow you to pass through. As you know, those who try to leave lose a stone, but you now know that those who do not know are given knowledge on how. Therefore, it can be reasonably deduced that there is some method of communication through the barrier, that perhaps you could use to appeal to the entity.
 
"So, Karate Kid- I can't think of a good insult at the moment- what did you find? Because I'm going to try and phase through it." I activate my phase locket and stick my hand through to see if it works.

Nicholas places his hand near the barrier, he attempts to communicate to the entity somehow, either through his thoughts if it can read them, or through his words if it cannot.

"I wish to leave this place. I have a mystery to solve."
 
"Hang on" Crunkledunk says. He punches the barrier while thinking the question "What do you want from us?"

You seem to get a response. It "speaks" to you

"Why must you solve the mystery?"

The presence does not respond. However, you are now certain that you can pass through, along with anyone else you bring with you.
 
"The path is open." Nicholas says, passing through the barrier.

"We shall head for the White House." He says from the other side.
 
"Well, the name is never the problem, however, that gang has some size, but comparable to others, it is very low on numbers. Based on your criteria, it seems that the gang meet them. So, what do you say?"
 
"Well then, I will see you there, preferably at the White House." Nicholas says as he activates his Galvanism, using up some of the electricity he absorbed previously to boost his speed as much as possible, he begins moving towards his location.
 
"Well, if we find someone better, we can pick them" Dilma than get up from the rock that she was sitting

"Anyway, let's walk again. We have our plan set and we know each other's abilities, unless you want to talk about other topic, i suggest that we continue'
 
Charley flew after Nicholas. He breifing considers his plan to go to Detroit but shuts it out of his mind as he goes forward.

[Time is 16:00 GMT]

At this point, the murder of the president has been publicly announced. Additionally, though the public does not know about many of you, the government is aware that you are (or at least were in) Atlanta, and has begun to send soldiers.
 
Kyouka stands up on the wing of the plane and stretches

"I think I fell asleep, at least I didn't miss my stop." She says as she jumps off switching her gravity so she lands safely in Washington DC.

"I wonder who the person that killed the president was."

She looks at the white house from where she landed and walos towards it to see the scene of the shooting and check for any sort of clues.
 
I look at the news.

"Wow, these guys act fast."

It's a good thing i didn't do anything strange.

As those thoughts come, a group of soldiers enter the beach...
 
Nicholas eventually arrives in Washington, DC, likely ahead of the others in his group.

He heads towards the White House, obviously it would be sectioned off and guarded, but Nicholas would remain a safe enough distance away while awaiting the others.
 
Hmmm. I'm really stuck in here. I think I'll give it some time before I try leaving and check out the place more thoroughly.

I shift into shadow form and slink around until I see something interesting.
 
"That wouldn't be an issue regardless. I can make myself unseen, that aside, conventional weaponry cannot harm me. It would be best if we not make any noticeable actions, as we may be mistaken for the murderer if we do. Best to remain hidden." Nicholas replies, waiting for the others to arrive still.
 
"You are under arrest!"

Maybe entering Spirit Form in public was a bad idea.

"Hey, we can talk about this, i didn't do anything!"

"Sir, show me your documents." There are many guns pointed at me.

"Well you see, they were stolen ear-"

"Hey, isn't that the guy who was walking on water earlier?"

"Put your hands in the air, get on the ground! Now!"

Thanks random beach civilian. I'll make sure to shoot you in the head later.
 
I notice a guy wearing a cowboy hat and sunglasses getting held at gunpoint by several policemen.

Interesting...I'll watch to see where this goes.
