Nicholas, utilizing his Natural Insight and Spirit Form, gets closer to the perpetrator and observes him. He concludes that the man fights using an unusual pair of guns that seem to possess some Mystery, as well as possessing a variety of other abilities, such as the ability to absorb body parts and gain skill and power based on them.
He then returns to his group.
"It seems his main method of attack is through the use of unusual twin pistols, that somehow classify as "blades", some other things of note include the ability to bypass one's physical durability and the ability to absorb body parts and gain skill and power through this. I would expect hostility, though we should not attack yet on our own. My goal is simply to understand his motives."

"If he gains knowledge from absorption that might have been the reason for the shoot up. If that's the case he is definitely a threat and we should kill or improson him as soon as possible to remove the threat of further violence. This body part absorbing also seems like a terrible threat in battle. I assume I am well protected through the use of my phase locket, tinker tank,and the fact that my body is covered in metal- assuming for the latter of course he can only absorb the organic- but you might be in threat if you attempt to engage in combat.Of course there might be some other quarrel with the president at play here- maybe a personal or idealogical dispute, which if that is indeed the case would reduce the threat of further assault. " Well... Uh- if you had any perceptive abilities whatsoever you would appreciate the unrivalled genius of my character. As I said UNRIVALED. I mean for example....- look at this" as Crunkledunk says this he summons his tinkertank in an offensive position- though clearly for the moment this is a meager threat and Crunkledunk does not intend to get in a battle for his own self- preservation.
