He was consistently equal, despite the fact that all 3 kept attacking him. He hit Aokiji with a quake, and Aokiji went "oh, you can't freeze an earthquake?" He hit Akainu so hard he went unconscious for a minute, and he was surprised despite having trained with observation haki. He deflected Kizaru's beams easily.

Yes. If he was going for the kill at any moment in the war, he would have shot Whitebeard in the head instead of the torso and killed Luffy instead of breaking the key,

Marineford WB Dubs, all achieved while slowly getting weaker:
-As he approaches, Kizaru gets a bad feeling, and feels the need to say this to his comrades
-Sengoku yells that they can't beat him with sheer military force, and that they might be the ones to die here, because this man can destroy the world(Metaphorically speaking)
-He makes a tsunami casually, with Aokiji stopping it, he calls him a rascal, Aokiji attacks him, then he blocks the attack and shatters Aokiji, who goes "oops."
-Tsuru says nowhere in the world would be safe from him.
-Marco refers to him as the King while blocking Kizaru, and Kizaru calls the crew scary, then gets hurt and slammed into the ground by a base Marco kick.
-Akainu shoots his Meteor Volcano at the crew, and Whitebeard tells him to go light a birthday cake instead.
-He treats Crocodile as a mere annoyance, despite him being able to live through fights with Jozu, Akainu, and Mihawk.
-Squard impales Whitebeard with a giant sword and he just laughs it off, not even trying to dodge.
-He onetaps the ice wall casually.
-He onetaps two of the Giant Squad, one of whom was slightly pressuring his commanders.
-All 3 Admirals combine their Haki to stop a quake from hitting the platform, and the people watching think that was impressive on the the admirals' part.
-He isn't impressed at all by another Meteor Volcano.
-Sengoku says that he and Garp need to participate to win the war.
-Aokiji freezes him, and he breaks out instantly, then stabs Aokiji, who prepares to attack again, then gets whacked on the head and shattered by Jozu.
-Kizaru shoots Luffy at him for 3d6 bludgeoning damage or whatever, and he doesn't care at all.
-Akainu says the island is going to get wiped off the planet if WB keeps this up, then attacks with a giant Magma fist, which Whitebeard blocks with a normal quake punch.
-Akainu's dog-bite blaze gets knocked out of the way with one naginata swipe.
-His sickness gets worse, and he coughs up blood, stand up, and stops moving for a while. This lets Akainu finally land a hit.
-A crowd of Vice Admirals hit him, and he opens his eyes, then oneshots all of them at once, then oneshots a few more.
-Kizaru goes to attack Luffy, and gets intercepted without even being looked at by WB.
-Kizaru shoots Whitebeard, who's still not looking, and just standing still again, focusing on Ace.
-He stops the Dick from slamming into him with his hand.
-He punches Marineford and hurts it
-Lines of Marines fire on him
-Akainu attacks Luffy, forcing Ace to sacrifice himself, distracting Whitebeard again.
-Sidenote: Somehow Akainu is missing an arm after this, and has to regen.
-Akainu gets bonked on the head with a quake punch, defaces Whitebeard, and then gets knocked out, the power surprising Sengoku and blowing apart the ground.
-Stomps the Blackbeard Pirates, despite their prep time, and only loses because he freezes up again.
-Gives a full speech while dying, still on his feet.
Lizaru had nothing on this shit.

Akainu had the chance to kill Whitebeard early in their fight because of his heart attacks, but spared his life. Unlike Garp who escaped Aokiji's ice with brute force, WB had to appeal to his DF powers. Marco himself called Kizaru a liar for saying that his kick caused any pain or hurted him (Kizaru was literally making fun of Marco lmao). Akainu matched a Quake punch from WB with Dai Funka. Even being caught in the back and attacked in the head Akainu speedblitz WB and almost ripped his head off with Meigo. Akainu faced all of Whitebeard's commanders and won. Akainu killed Ace with one blow without using haki and was stomping him with extreme ease without using haki (Ace is the same one who managed to hurt Whitebeard in the novel and burn his skin). Aokiji defeated Jozu with one hit. Akainu casually blitzed Ivan, despiste the same Ivan being able to dodge lightspeed with ease. Akainu tanked all of Crocodile attacks. Even Vista and Marco were unable to cause any damage to Akainu. Kizaru and WB fight off-screen and WB was being pierced by the lasers.

Ok, and it still sent him flying, so what's the point?
and Whitebeard tossed a Dog Bite Blaze out of the way.
That wasn't a blitz, he just didn't block.
He fought some of them for 3 seconds and there was no result, he would not have beaten Marco and Vista.
Ace was still alive for a few minutes after that, and it was a surprise attack that negates his powers, and it was duraneg, and Ace let him get that hit, and he was weakened from Prison + Seastone, AND Akainu's arm was literally gone after that.
Akainu is nowhere near Oldbeard, don't start this shit.
He used hax, not raw power, and Jozu was distracted.
Everyone else is FTL, no issue there.

Vista cut his neck.
WB was distracted and dying for the whole fight, and it was still even. The lasers are duraneg anyway. Hell, Kizaru needed Onigumo's help to beat Marco.

Old wb was holding back the entire time and was already fatally damaged, the only time you can argue he wasnt was when he 2 shot akainu.

He just pushed Kizaru, Luffy faced Kaido in 913 and sent him flying for kilometers with G3.
The fact is that Akainu could and would have killed Sick Oldbeard in Marineford with low to mid diff if the fight was 1v1 from the start. Akainu didn't use awakening even though he had it in hand, he was also far superior to Whitebeard in everything.

(who was already injured by many from either getting off guard, cheap attacks and getting jumped on, something even akainu did while he had a heart attack AND STILL DIDN'T DO SHIT) also why did he need to use his own ally to weaken him beforehand?

Irrelevant wall of text ... The fact remains that Whitebeard only damaged an Admiral when he got the drop on one (Akainu) and was completely enraged. Even then he failed to incapacitate Akainu

Never did wb try to kill akainu, he let him fall down. He was there to sacrifice himself for the next generation and especially his family... That was mostly probably his plan to begin with... He also didn't want to destroy marineford/balance of the world
He lost his cool ONLY when ace died, and even then could still prioritize in protecting his family... Read the f ing manga, annoying af how people don't try to understand characters or context
