I thought Luffy could already hold Lightning as shown when he fought Enel. Either way, this is dope.

Oda: Luffy won't beat Kaido with just a punch

Luffy: Here comes a giant fist

Depending on whether Kaido tanks this or not, it could be another feat as well.

Kaido will tank it if it actually lands. That much we know.
Maybe. Earlier leaks said Kaido's falling with a small on his face by the end.

But also how tf is MOMONOSUKE supposed to protect the island? Unless Luffy and Kaido take flight and Momo has to move it away from under them

What if Luffy could theoretically destroy Onigashima? can't it be calculated even if it doesn't happen?
Depending on the fist size, yes. If the fist is THAT much bigger you could make a case for violent frag (since Luffy's bigger attacks ALWAYS result in that, similiar to his giant thor axe in strong world)

Spoilers: Orochi's still alive, Roger had no DF but he only used Haki, we get a flashback, Luffy tells Momo to protect Onigashima
Powerscalers: Lightning bolt and big punch

Fixed it for you buddy

Denjiro was AFK for no reason, he go out of knowhere and still doesn't showing his ass even Hiyori in a danger situation right now. There's no important Enemies warlord or whatever it called to be prioritizing to be kill rather than Orochi and Kaido, let the fodders vs t another fodders.

So while DF's give you cool and quirky powers, with some being pretty damn powerful, Haki is the tried and true power that even DF's must submit to as shown throughout the series. The only way DF's can overcome Haki is through either greater force, or if the users Haki surpasses the opponent's, so even then Haki reigns over DF's even when it's complimenting/boosting the ability.

A clenched fist is about 10 centimeters wide or 0.1 meters, and weights 0.46 kilograms on average.

Assuming that Luffy's fist is 20-25 kilometers wide at the very least (bigger than Onigashima).

(25000/0.1)^3*0.46 = 7.1875x10^15 Kilograms

However Luffy's fist is likely filled with air like his other attacks. Air is 761.79 times less dense than flesh.

Luffy's Giant Fist Weight = (7.1875x10^15)/761.79 = 9.435*10^12 Kilograms (Class T)

Average fist velocity of a boxer is 11.5 m/s.

Luffy's Giant Fist Speed = (11.5/0.1)*25000 = 2875000 m/s (Sub-Relativistic)

Luffy's Giant Fist Kinetic Energy = 0.5*(9.435*10^12)*2875000^2 = 3.8993*10^25 Joules, 9.32 Petatons of TNT (Multi-Continent level)
