Can we talk about how dirty they did Mega Man in Mega Man vs Astro Boy? Ignoring the results of the fight, they literally used a meme for his quote.

Not an actual quote that got turned into a meme, a literal sentence-mixed meme.

You know, when you put it that way, I’m not as upset at all the capeshit. The don’t have to be weebs and choose Japanese media because we do if they want to do popular American stuff. If it was a Japanese show instead of an American one I’d guarantee the only MU we’d see with an American character is Goku vs Superman.

You’d be hard pressed to find western matches that don’t involve those two franchises besides Cole vs Alex, Chief vs Doomguy 2, or Shantae vs Shovel Knight. And note that those are all video games. Cartoons are even sparser. XJ9 vs Robotboy I guess. And Steven vs Star. Cinder vs Azula, but that one involves franchises that are both borderline anime.

Jasonsith brought up the concept of Cirno vs Aqua and I was excited with it. Two blue haired idiots going at it would make for an excellent Death Battle. Alternatively Zatana vs Marisa Kirisame can be a good one too.

Honorable mention being Opal Yong-ae vs Angel Crawford, Sakuya vs Dio, and Maki Aikawa vs Nozomi Kaminashi - but Heartstrikers/DFZ and White Trash Zombie are impossible for the same reason for Yamada Monogatari and I have high doubts Air Master or Keijo!!!!!!!! would ever get in... and I'd rather not see Touhou in DB

I want a ******* Dark Souls Episode but at the same time I'm scared they would **** it up and nerf the shit out of them, while also giving a bad matchup.

My ideal DS fight would either be The Ashen One vs The Hunter (Bloodborne) or a Souls/Borne Battle Royale.

I can only say my ideal match ups are Makoto Nanaya vs Leone, Nine the Phantom vs Irene Belserion, Ragna vs Dante or Ichigo, Hakumen vs Vergil. I would think of more, but I am tired.
Makoto should be easy to research because she isn't hax crazy like the others but just hax resistant to many things. Scaling wise isn't too off for her as she should be mid tier in the verse, being able to fight Tager, Tsubaki, Izayoi, Noel, Bullet, Kagura and Litchi. She survived against higher tier such as Hazama, Nine, Izanami, Relius, Es and Ragna. Though she wasn't able to win due her being outclassed or others was testing her.
From Vsbattle, she's at least Large Town Level+ to possibly Small Planet Level, and from DeviantArt she's Country Level.
Nine, Ragna and Hakumen would be a bit hard because of their crazy hax they have.
