Death Battle Season Seven Discussion Thread (19) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

It’s likely that Ruby is going to end up scaling to the Amity Feat and DB will high ball the calc so that Ruby can get the win. They’ll probably also give her a very high speed feat, probably reacting to lasers or something.

Doubt it given there haven’t been any feats in RWBY to wank her to those speeds also

But RWBY is far from being concluded so we shall see if we have more insane feats.



So how much sense is Kyubey vs Maxwell Lord as a Death Battle or DBX or whatever? (And what even are the standard tools and gadgets for Max Lord?)



Now I remember: Saitama has the following opponents:
(and that Saitama vs Kenshiro was actually a badly animated DBX match before and needs rework)

Maxwell Lord's optimal match is vs Purple Man, he usually carries stuff such as guns. My personal pick for Saitama is Squirrel Girl.

I mean that's pretty much Silver in a nutshell outside his infamous debut game he hasn't really done much in recent games plus the last time he was playable (apps/crossovers don't count) was in Rivals 2 (a roughly decade old PSP game where everyone plays the same outside their special attack) and he was a boss-fight in Generations (another game that's roughly a decade old lol).

It doesn't help he regularly struggles to get into the top 5 on popular Sonic characters lists (Sonic, Shadow, Knux and Tails have the top 4 spots "more or less" on lockdown) while Silver sometimes comes 5th but he often gets beaten to the punch by either Blaze, Amy or Metal Sonic (the latter two having DBs already).

That said Silver Vs Trunks (the obvious match-up) will kinda be another Sanji Vs Lee. With the winner being the character that got consistent major power-ups, got a big arc in recent years and is still very much relevant while the loser is the character that had a major introduction but as time passed they became nothing more but another support character in an already large cast of characters lol!

OPM is far from concluded too and I don't think most of them are worthy opponent... RWBY characters should fight against Arknights characters for both street-like-tier and far from concluded status.

Street-like-tier verse: like American Dragon, Avatar which are often underestimated and seems like their character always fight in street only.
 
@Anthomideus poor Silver though. Aside from getting booted from another season and losing his matchup with Trunks, it probably wouldn't Silver any favors since DB doesn't scale the Super hedgehogs to Solaris' universal stuff while Future Trunks IIRC was somewhat comparable to characters like Goku and Vegeta, and with Ssj Rage he also fought against Goku Goku Black so Trunks would absolutely stomp Silver by Death Battle's scaling

Well the researchers now buy universal hedgehogs thanks to Strunton but still doesn't change the outcome thanks to the multipliers

Aside from the multipliers, wouldn't Trunks also be faster then Silver? It'd be likely that DB would scale Trunks to Goku and Beerus' speed feat (which was in the quadrillions I believe), plus aside from speed Trunks would also have higher durability and can outlast the Super form's time limit
 
Poor Silver. He is best known for a game that casts significant doubt whether Sega can make good games as a whole and almost everyone wants him dead. No matter how hard he tries to redeem himself through different means, say it with me.
