Ive only ever seen one matchup putting her againt doflamingo, and even then Nui vs Doffy is WAY more thematic

- Similar biological titles (Life Fiber Human and String Human)
- Both killed their fathers (And yes Soichiro is technically Nui's father as his research directly lead to her creation)
- Both possess a disturbingly carefree demeanor, always wearing a smile on their face even when they are brutally and violently murdering people which they do a lot
- Both are highly arrogant regarding their confidence in their abilities, believing that thy can go wherever they want and do whatever they want and that there is no one who can stop them from doing so, a fault which inevitably lead to their defeats
- Neither were actually killed in their defeat, just beaten to incapacitation
- Both are highly skilled mental and emotional manipulators
- Possess willpower strong enough to create tangible shockwaves that take out anyone around them who isnt strong enough to resist it (Supernatural Willpower and Conqueror's Haki) and create ranged shockwaves with just the force of their attacks
- The majority of their powerset involves using strings for a variety of purposes (Life Fibers and Ito Ito no Mi) such as:
- Taking control of opponents (Mind Stitching and Parasito)
- Creating clones (Mon-Mignon Prêt-à-Porter and Black Knight)

Why is Persona 4's protag vs Josuke so popular all of a sudden? Their antagonists have way better connections, and Kira has an actual fighting chance in his matchup thanks to hax.

Giorno vs Joker does that way better though. I guess if you go in the line of thinking that DB wouldn't want to touch GER with a 10 foot pole it makes sense, but considering they did Archie Sonic vs Wally West I doubt that's true.

Same. Wily vs Eggman was probably my favorite season 1 match, but they did our boy dirty in his first match and made a strange choice for Zero's first matchup. Mega Man Battle Royale is the first good Mega Man matchup since Season 1.

There was a versus show of pretty good quality that did the Zero vs MK (Although they downplayed Meta Knight by a lot). They even had a multiple custom music tracks.
